Blue Forest Lane Bed and Breakfast

We had an excellent stay at this B&B. Brent and Wanda are lovely people. We saw more of Brent as Wanda works outside the home, and he is the perfect person to extend hospitality to travelers. We were greeted warmly and, upon check in, Brent suggested we occupy a different room, larger and with an en suite bath. So generous, he did not need to do that. The bedroom and bath were beautifully appointed, both beautiful and comfortable. We couldn’t have been happier! The breakfasts were sublime, both gorgeous and delicious. Brent was so friendly and available to us, freely giving directions and restaurant suggestions. You would not be disappointed with the quality of this B&B experience! While the location is in Halifax, it is thankfully outside the hubbub of downtown, which we loved. It was the closest to home that we felt (ok, prettier and better food!) during our entire visit to Nova Scotia. We will definitely rethink our lodging when we return to NS and choose more B&Bs like this one. We will be back! Thank you for everything!

Such a lovely place! Best b&b I‘ve ever stayed by now. My personal highlights: the garden and breakfast.

Wow! First off, Brent & Wanda were wonderful hosts. We were travelling across Canada in the middle of winter, heading from BC to Nfld. We spent Christmas here at Blue Forest Lane B&B in Halifax, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were not only stunning and extravagant, but so very tasty and nourishing. And the conversations with both Brent & Wanda were always comfortable and genuine.
Our suite was gorgeous, large and a favourite stay of ours. And even though our hosts had a large family gathering for Christmas, it was silent in our room. We would not hesitate to stay at the beautiful Blue Forest Lane B&B again, and in fact look forward to our next visit there.
