First time in and ordered fish and chips and it was the best I have had in years. Keep up the great work

Steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly!
Broccolini and carrots were also cooked perfect!
Salmon had a beautiful char and flavor.
Staff were lovely.

We attended an event at the indoor beer garden a week ago. There was a large crowd there and the service we received was exceptional. Tara Sutherland was our server and she rocked that crowd without a problem. There were a few other workers who were in and out helping out as well. Teamwork was awesome and I would say everyone was very pleased with how the event went and the food and drinks were great. Would highly recommend this place!

First, I have to say the best part of our visit to blue lobster was the staff. They all work together to make sure their guests get the best service and experience. We had 4 different servers at our table and they were all incredible. Knowledgeable, prompt, funny and accommodating.

The tuna tartare was perfectly done, the mussels are the best mussels I’ve had in a restaurant in Nova Scotia. And the spicy margarita that isn’t on the menu which they happily whipped up for us was amazing. If you like spice they will gladly accommodate you.

They also recommended backstage brewery and their ghost pepper beer. It was so nice to see them promote another local company. So after we left we went and tried a flight, solid recommendation.

We found it to be quite expensive, though I do understand you are paying for the experience along with the food. I HAD THE Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and it was "okay". Our waitress, as well as the hostess who greeted us were fabulous though.

The decor is modern and fresh, the restaurant is super clean and they have a wide selection of Nova Scotia Spirit Co beverages that are ice cold and pair nicely with their pub style food.
They have an impressive menu and lots of vegetarian options.
I ordered the taco platter with impossible plant based hamburger and it was seasoned to perfection!
The portion sizes are super generous and decently priced.
I'm also super beaming about the impeccable service I received. Our server JD was prompt, friendly and very enthusiastic about doing his job. I truly value good service nowadays and you get it all here

Very friendly and helpful staff. I had the cob salad with ahi tuna. Overall, it was very good, but I did not appreciate the unripe avocado. My son was disappointed with the lobster roll, as the meat was too tough. A few minor issues, but I would definitely eat here again.

Would love to see a handful of gluten free options other than salads and a shrimp cocktail, I’ll be back at that point. Drinks are great! Changed the menu a few times but selection hasn’t gotten any better for gf folks unfortunately.

10/10 hats off to the chef, it was amazing food. Tacos are awesome, saucy burger was delish, and chicken fingers are the bomb. Highly recommend.

I had heard such great things about Blue Lobster from friends and coworkers and was excited to try, especially after seeing so many great vegetarian options listed on the menu.
I called in my order for pick up of three classic smash burgers (sub impossible plant based burger) with three sides of truffle fries. I was told 15 minutes and my order would be ready.
When I went to pick it up the I was greeted immediately and asked what my needs were. I stated I was there to pick up my order and she went to get it for me. While she was gone, another employee approached me to ensure I was taken care of, really great service from these two young employees. I was really impressed with them both, as well as the appearance and vibe of the restaurant.
When I got home with the order, I unpacked it for my family and we all opened our takeout boxes in excitement, only to be greatly disappointed… the $7 truffle fries we each received, if collectively put together, would not equal the size of a medium fries anywhere else you can get fries from. They *might* have filled a 1 cup measuring cup - collectively.
The burgers tasted excellent but only had one patty each, instead of two. We thought maybe it was because of the substitution to the plant based burger, but when we double checked the menu again, it states that substitution is no extra cost.
The bill came to $78 after tax and tip and left us still hungry afterwards. Upon sharing my experience with friends and coworkers, some related to small portions and others said if I ate in things would have been better.
Over all, I’m left confused, hungry and disappointed, since I was so hopeful to have found great vegetarian options in town other than a&w and Burger King for a burger.

A really fun spot. Large and airy inside. Huge outside patio and lounge areas. The food and drinks were tasty. Cheerful, attentive staff.

Our server was fantastic, knowledgeable and she had helpful recommendations for drinks and food. It’s a great atmosphere for a first date, to meeting with friends, or an important dinner with loved ones. The price here is a bit higher than what people normally like to spend in Pictou County, however, the experience of the food and the building makes this place outstanding. It’s a far better experience than listening to the 5 cd’s that never get changed at The Dock. The patio here is large enough that you don’t feel like it’s crowded or that someone could be eavesdropping. Seeing a restaurant/brewery in an old depot for Scottsburn Milk is very interesting and it’s nice to feel life back in this part of Stellarton.

We drove from Truro to try this place out and was worth the drive! Everything we had was delicious, including the drinks! The building and property are lovely- if you ever open another location I hope you consider Truro!

Morgan at the bar ran the whole place (Honestly) - She was making drinks, serving the bar seats and running food for the other two servers to all the other tables.

What a great addition to Stellarton! Atmosphere (we ate on the patio), drinks, and food were all fantastic. This place is seriously cool!

We had a gluten allergy in our party, our waitress was celiac herself and helped us navigate the menu and had great suggestions. She checked on us just enough that we felt taken care of without hovering.

The Mac and Cheese were to die for, I can't wait to try all the items!

My only suggestion is, there wasn't much signage outside and we actually missed it a few times before we figured out where it was. At first we thought it was only a bar and only after chatting with the lovely people at Curious Crow Cafe did we find out it was full restaurant.

First time eating brunch here. Our server Shayna (? Shayla?) was so patient with our shenanigans and got every part of the order correct. She was so friendly and fun. Our food and drinks were wonderful and we really had a good time. Very much recommend the mushrooms on toast and the big breakfast (homemade sausage is fantastic). 100% recommend.

We arrived @ 1: 30 & it was brunch menu only (including the drink selections) + the option I wanted (Nova eggs Benny) not available & only other food offerings were cheeseburger or chicken fingers. I ordered a flight of mimosas with a yogurt parfait (which I assumed would be hearty & yummy) + chicken fingers for kids. Well, the parfait was sour with hardened peaches & the chicken fingers were SO dry.

The mimosa flight was nice & the atmosphere was decent (aside from it being across from Tim’s on a busy street). I think it would be better suited for an evening visit for cocktails & appetizers.

The place had terrible service, and I heard they had horrible mangers. Don’t t give breaks, and don’t allow there employees to ask questions. DONT RECOMMEND!

Went here for dinner for the first time. There was an estimated 30 min wait to get in but we got in in about 15-20. Service was good, food was really good, but it was really loud and echo-y so it was very hard to have a conversation. They were setting up live music as we were leaving. Lots of younger people.

Atmosphere is awesome! Had a wonderful time with friends on Saturday night, with live music and drinks and great service! My only concern is that there is not a lot of gluten free options available for me to order. Would love to be able to enjoy some finger foods while having a drink with friends!
