Had a great experience for 10 years with Bluenose then without notice was switch to broker link after a buyout.now i cant call the local office only a call center, wait times are 40 minutes to speak to a broker who barely speaks english, is unknowledgeable and cant advise or rush anything 5 days now i havent heard from my broker or insurance company after a not at fault accident thats left me out of work and without a vehicle

Was left on hold for 45 minutes and they left the office for the day with us on hold, had to contact Intact direct to add a vehicle to our policy, they hooked us up with Suzanne at the Sheet Harbour office who handled everything a pro. So, shame on you Sydney office
Update, August 28, called office about error on renewal of policy three times, left on hold each time.not impressed.

Been with Bluenose/ Brokerlink for 4 years with my business and they are very helpful and personable.
They are local to me in the Cape Breton area which means they are very accessible.
But with the takeover with BrokerLink the contact has to be 800# and takes away from the personables when calling.
I do try to always go to the business location.
Great local service!
