The food was delicious and everyone was very friendly. We started out with great service then waited and waited when we finished our food, while the server was doing nightly duties. Overall, a good experience.

Food was good and so was the service. Was seated on the patio and it was lively yet intimate. Loved it.

Who knew? ! This incredible little town is home to this awesome restaurant! We spent two nights there and were so lucky we stumbled into this gem! The gorgeous patio caught our attention, the AC was working its magic inside and then the menu made it even better!

The menu offers many gluten free and dairy free options, which is absolutely amazing for someone with allergies like myself! The prices were very reasonable and the quantity and quality of the food was great!

The service was excellent from start to finish and despite our larger group with many special orders, the food came up very quickly and piping hot!

I have to say it’s worth the 3 hour drive to visit again! We will be back!

Awesome restaurant. The food did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting to stop in. Sadly, they are not open on Sunday. Hope that changes.

Came to Nova Scotia from Alberta. Family here. Haven’t been here since 1995. Was on a mission for the perfect Lobster Roll…. Found it here. Perfect amount of Lobster with a fresh mini baguette. Blown away. The side chowder was creamy and smoky. I’m not the kind of guy to leave reviews but I was compelled to praise this sweet little spot. If you’re in Antigonish… Lobster Roll all the way.

An antigonish staple. Staff are all fun to be around and the service is on point. The decor is wildly detailed and you’ll enjoy a good meal. Kids menu is great.

Amazing lunch with my wife and my mom. Drove from New Glasgow to find something different and found this place! Totally worth the drive. Amazing food service.

The service provided by the student assistants is quite friendly. The tables and menus are sticky and should be cleaned regularly. Cleaning and renovation of the washrooms is urgently needed. The food was absolutely bad and the portions small and way too expensive.
The best thing was the parking lot with parking meter right in front of the door. Since we were here last year and were very satisfied, the manager should ask himself what has changed. Bad management and even worse cooks?

Another lovely patio, but it’s not dog friendly. They said he could join us if he was on the outside of the perimeter but it was in direct sun on the public walkway… disappointing visit to Antigonish.

One of the best places I had food at in a small town. The PEI Mussels were good with nice garlic bread. The pizza was also good but the most amazing find was their Raddler beer. The beer is amazing and must have if one is here. The service was very good and the ambience is warm. Over all one of my best experiences

We got seated quickly and when our server came she was polite. She recommended a light beer for me which was good. We had fish and chips which were delicious. We meet another couple there and had a great conversation.
Two issues I had was she never came back to ask if wanted anything else. I wanted another beer. I had to find her to get our bill

Great resto in Antagonish! A great stop if you’re looking to break up the drive to and from Cape Breton. They have a very extensive menu from burgers, sandwiches, wraps, pasta to all the local seafood favourites. The portions are good, but the quality was great. Simple but hit the spot. The chowder was tasty with a good amount of fish inside. The service was quick and friendly.

This local restaurant is in my opinion one of the best restaurants in Nova Scotia. They have a great selection of food, reasonable prices and super courteous staff. All of our selections were delicious but the dessert that we ordered merited additional mention. It was the caramel cake with vanilla ice cream. It was SO good! We highly recommend Brownstone and will definitely be back!

We were greeted quickly and seated just as fast. Both the host and waitress were friendly and welcoming as was the atmosphere. Very cute and relaxing inside. Ordered the Nova Scotia Burger and the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Both were absolutely mouthwatering and delicious. Best meal I have had in quite some time. French fries were perfectly crispy. All around a lovey time. Would come here anytime I stop. If I could give it a 10 star I would. Thank you Brown Stone for the excellent experience!

Old fashioned wood tables, really good waitress, wait or staff. Soup changes daily. Bar. Bathrooms. Park on metered street. I'd go again.

Spending the weekend up in Antigonish, decided to checkout Brownstone for their good reviews and I was not disappointed! It was amazing food, the atmosphere was great, me and my girlfriend ordered the Smoked Chowder and the Lobster and Spinach Dip, both were incredible. For dinner we had the Penne and the chicken park, two generous portions and delicious, our waiter Mark (tall gentleman with the man bun) was amazing, made us feel welcome, provided excellent service and was super friendly and gave us some recommendations for things to do for our weekend. All in all, I recommend Brownstone highly to those looking for a good night out with great food and an good service!

I drove from New Brunswick for my birthday weekend to Nova Scotia. I had Mark as a server and he was absolutely amazing and extremely efficient. Had the lobster spinach dip and it was the best spinach dip I have ever had. Also ordered the chowder which was great. The atmosphere is so welcoming and enjoyable. Would definately recommend for families, couples, friends ect.
