Bought a used 2013 Ford Fusion from Alain.
Real smooth talker.
Had issues with the car about 2 weeks after I purchased it.
Been there 3 times in less than 5 months.
Found out yesterday that the car needs 1000 worth of repairs including a wheel bearing.
Bruce refuses to fix these issues.
Lynn from service said that it's a used car and not a new car so it isn't their problem.
Less than5 months with this car and only 6k put on it
Found out that they also.do their own safety checks before selling these defective cars.
Buyer beware with this bunch of crooks.

Update July 21.left messages everyday and absolutely no response. Real juvenile attitude there.

Poor customer service. They ask to leave a message and don't return the call in a timely fashion.

In regards to Bruce Fords service department I had never experienced any issues concerning the quality of their work over the close to 3 years I was a customer there, however I found their pricing in need of close scrutiny on repairs other than standard maintenance items.
For example, several years back I needed a repair done and was quoted $1300 in labor which I knew was overly high for the job. When I said no thank you they quickly dropped the labor charge by $500, it was nice they lowered it but why had they tried to overcharge the job in the first place? What if someone without the knowledge didn't know it was out of line and had just accepted their first $1300 quote without question? Second example, they quoted me 2.5 hours of labor for a transmission service, my last Ford dealer charged me 1 hour labor for that same job, same vehicle (I still have the receipt proving this). I know hourly rates vary and go up but the required time to do a job doesn't magically more than double. Their service writer was full of excuses as to why they needed to charge 2.5 times longer to do this job than another Ford dealer did. I decided I didn't need the stress of trying to keep the local Ford dealer honest and getting an argument half the time so I have now moved my business elsewhere. I had always taken my Fords to a Ford dealer over the past 25+ years because I didn't think you'd get any games there. Caveat Emptor.

I must say that I have always received the best service from Bruce Ford Middleton NS.
Each member of Bruce Ford (Scott-GM, Alain-Sales Associate, Barrett, George, and Ross (parts and service), and Cynthia (finances), as well as all other members.
Scott and Alain are always the ones my husband calls and goes to when making a vehicle purchase. We have purchased a total of 11 vehicles over the past 8 years from Bruce Ford in Middleton. Scott and Alain go above and beyond to give my husband and myself the very best deals possible. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional and very kind and courteous. I love how they take the time to get to know me and my wants and needs, and they always manage to find the perfect vehicle within my husband’s an I price range.
My husband an I will continue to go back to Bruce Ford Middleton.
Thank you all the staff of Bruce Ford Middleton.

Please read this review ENTIRELY.

These guys REALLY screwed me over on vehicle financing. I purchased a 2013 Ford F-150 solely for the purpose of credit re-establishment, which was well known to all involved from the beginning. The application was accepted but with a high interest rate. I was dealing directly with the finance manager (Cynthia) who recommended putting a co-signer on the account to take advantage of a lower interest rate. My wife agreed to co-sign the loan. When the paperwork came through for signing, they had my wife listed as primary applicant and myself as the co-signer. I immediately questioned the paperwork and was assured by Cynthia that it would not matter whos name was primary, it would be reported to both credit bureaus regardless. 8 months later I discover nothing has been reported to my credit bureaus, it is solely reported to the primary applicant (my wife). After talking with the lender, they have advised there is nothing they can do on there end, as this was a signed contract provided by the dealer. I did manage to reach out to Cynthia at Bruce Ford and explained the situation. I was told she would contact her lender Rep and get back to me, which has not yet happened. I have tried to reach out several other times via phone and email with no response. This situation seems very much like they knew EXACTLY what was going to happen but couldn't turn down a sale. BOTTOM LINE.if something doesn't seem right, it probably isn't. Make sure you know the details before signing any agreement, despite what you are told.if you have questions, dig deeper until you have the answers you are looking for, despite somebody's words.its quite apparent not everyone regardless of their position, has knowledge. I will update this post as necessary depending on the accountability of the company and the mediation of staff to resolve this issue. I will indeed give credit where credit is due if they make this right, otherwise this review will remain.

UPDATE I did hear from Scott (General Manager) this morning, he was very friendly and the conversation was brief but he is aware of the situation and agreed to make things "right". Stay tuned.

UPDATE These guys pulled through as promised! The details of the new deal are private and not necessary to post here.that being said, they DID respond in a timely fashion and they DID correct the error. I changed my original review of 1 star to a 4 star simply because of the way this was handled. Scott the GM was a pleasure to talk to and restored my faith in this company. WAY TO GO BRUCE FORD!

Great at selling, terrible at fulfilling promises made to complete the sale! The vehicle came to me dirty, very dirty, detailing was supposed to be done, took me 3 hours to clean the interior, it wasn't even vacuumed fully. The service dept, body shop and terrible detailers don't communicate with the sales people. They put more miles on my vehicle than I did in 4 months and spent over 100.00 on gas, did not even offer a gas card for it. I couldn't get any satisfaction after 4 months of trying and 3 times of them taking the vehicle and sending it back to me with nothing done so I wrote a review. I was contacted by the GM and told that they would send me a partial payment for all things that still needed to be done (I stated I wasn't wasting any more time or money on dealing with them) he I would get the cheque easier IF I removed the bad review. I did get my cheque but the review stands. The Better Business Bureau says there is a going trend with businesses doing this and that they should be reported as BBB does not like this! IF you deal with them make sure you get everything in writing and DO NOT let them take your original vehicle until all things are done as promised. I was lied to about costs and what was done, never received the proper service records and now need brakes, oil change (synthetic) after only putting less than 1000 kms on the vehicle (over half of which they put on taking my vehicle and doing nothing) This was supposed to be a certified vehicle which arrives with a full tank of gas, and so on. They did not do these things nor complete anything. I have very little trust or faith in the dealership or the vehicle I purchased. I deal with dealerships as they usually are better and more trustworthy, Bruce Ford doesn't fall into this classification. This is how poorly they communicate. I got a call last week or so from the service department reminding me of my appt? I told her I did not have an appt.and she said she disagreed with me, haha. WHAT? I told her I never ever made an appt so she said she will cancel MY appt. I again told her I never made one so whatever she is cancelling is not mine. This came 3 months after my last contact with them, they have no organization whatsoever. Terrible in all ways!

This dealership is good for subprime financing. However, that is where the good news stops. When buying a car these guys are really greasy. First of all, when buying a car from them, if you want to pay cash or finance outside of the dealership, they charge you an extra thousand dollars. Secondly, they did a bait and switch on me. I had found a car that was an excellent deal. However, the day before I was supposed to pick it up, they called me saying that they had supposedly found a hole in the frame and therefore they were refusing to sell it to me (despite the fact that the car had a fresh M. V. I.and had clearly been undercoated to death. Of course they didn't have anything else at that price so I had to buy something more expensive. Third, they forced an aftermarket extended warranty on me! As I was buying the car they told me that all of their cars come with extended warranties. However I noticed that I was being charged for it to which they replied that despite the fact that it was included I still have to pay for it. I certainly wouldn't choose to spend an extra $1300 on a warranty. Furthermore this warrants company voids your warranty if you do not submit your oil change invoice every time it is performed and I am not even allowed to do my own oil
changes. I will probably never need it at ll where I bought a Honda! Attempting to cancel the warranty the warranty company told me that I only had the first 10 days to cancel and tried to say that it was the finance company who forced it on me. However my finance company said that they don't require that. I think there is an agreement between the dealership and the warranty company. As I said, these guys are good with subprime loans, but these days a LOT of dealerships are now into that.

Customer Service on the service end was great, but overheard a sales rep talking on the phone saying "I sold that POS vehicle and made 5 grand". Not something I would expect to hear:/

Unpleasant. People be warned they try to bombard you with fees and sell absolutely nothing. In my last experience they wanted me to pay 2400 dollars over MSRP after military loyalty and other discounts and this is how they treat their loyal customers as we bought a brand new truck In Nov. SEE HONDA

I have dealt with many dealers over the years and this one is by far the best. I get all my maintenance done there. Good work. I just bought my new vehicle there. Great deal. Honest and fair sales staff. George and Scott are the best. I highly recommend this dealership.
