Amazing people work here. Recently I had to say goodbye to a longtime pet and the staff went above and beyond.

Our dogs get excellent care (and treats) from Dr. Taylor. The whole team is friendly and knowledgeable.

Great service! Will not over vaccinate your animal and will make sure to give you the best advice. I make sure our animals go there for better care!

The staff here are phenomenal. They are everything you would want from a team helping care for a loved family member. When my kitty Celeste was sick, and I was tight on funds, they went above and beyond to make sure we were both cared for. The compassion and understanding we received brought tears to my eyes many times. Their gentle and comforting process for euthanasia was so appreciated. I'll never take my animals anywhere else.

Always a pleasure to visit the happy and friendly staff of Burnside Veterinary Hospital and the excellent care of our 4 dogs who love to be there and are so calm there.

I've taken both my wife's cats here, the staff light up when they see these animals, I can feel how much they care.

Had a medical emergency, traveled from New Glasgow to see a vet.
Outstanding job taking care of our 15 year old chihuahua, Dr. McCarron was very attentive and provided great services. The bill was expected to be much more than what we were presented.
Great staff, level of care and value all rolled into one.

Very friendly staff. I've found we don't have to wait very long to get in for an appointment compared to other vets.

This is an excellent veterinarian clinic. Our families poor puppy became very ill with mysterious lesions that were all crusted with nasty brown clumps. These lesions and chunks of fur and skin would drop off in clumps and His lips developed bright red sores.
The whole family was very distraught and distressed to see this poor puppy suffering and having no treatment work.
It turned out the he had an incredibly rare genetic disorder that a vet might only see once in their career. Untreated this disease is horrifically fatal. Dr. Miriam diagnosed this condition, had the diagnosis confirmed with a biopsy and started treatment. Our puppy is now rapidly healing and the prognosis is excellent.
If it were not for her incredible care and intelligence - we would have watched our dog grow more sores, start having seizures and develop organ damage until he had to be put down to free him from misery.
We all love this dog so much that we will never be able to properly voice our appreciation to Dr. Miriam for having saved his life.
