The organization has issues for sure. I have had a number of problems with both the items I have purchased as well as the company customer service. The kicker is that the staff at this store are always friendly and go out of their way helpful in bolt wood working experience and honest evaluations on items you may have thought you wanted. So far all the issues over the years have been resolved.

Called them looking for a product and the guy on the phone wasn't helpful and rushed me off the phone.

Recently bought a Fuji sprayer at Busy Bee. An excellent sprayer at a great price point. Happy with my recent purchase.

Absolutely terrible experience charge my account 3 times after telling me my previous orders cancelled. Still not dealt with my accounts are charging me overage fees and sending my credit into the garbage. As a young person looking for a home its making it even more difficult then it already is. Thanks busy bee. Never using your online services again… not to mention terrible customer service and support

I ordered a Vetric product from Busy Bees online site. It was a good price, with "free" shipping. Several days after the order Was placed, I received a phone call stating there would be an additional $30 charge. When I asked about it, I was told it didn't qualify for free shipping because it was being shipped directly from manufacturer. When I told the person I wanted my money back I was given all kinds of excuses.
Finally a week later along with several more phone calls to Busy Bee, I got my refund. Very poor advertising and extremely poor customer service.
Probably will not be using their online service any more

Bought an $3500 metal lathe in November 2021. Used it VERY gently for about 8 months at which point the motor started sputtering and it eventually went completely toast. No problem right? It's under warranty. That's what you think! First, they ask me to pull out the speed control board and ship it for "testing". Took them a month to figure it's not the speed control board. So now, in their insane minds, I am supposed to pack up the machine (the bare machine is about 300lbs) take to the store so they can SHIP IT to god knows where. Then they would "inspect it" and "fix it" and then ship it back to the store.but I would have to pay for "labor" at the hefty rate of $80 an hour. So, let me get this straight: you will charge me $400 and make me wait 3 months instead of JUST SENDING ME NEW REPLACEMENTS? !? ! Never again, never again. And the cherry on this cake? Their website does not allow me to post this review, "because I have not purchased the item" HAHAHA I certainly wish I hadn't

Terrible experience! I won't be going back. I walked in for the first time and was asked if I need help with anything. I inquired about Powermatic tools and was shot down without even the slightest bit of courtesy. I asked if they could have the tools brought in, as most everything comes out of the States, to which the fellow I was talking to replied "not interested" in tried to inquire further to which he responded "not even remotely". Seemed like the convo was over so I left. I won't be going back.

After a false trigger on my new Saw Stop, I had an expensive paperweight until I sank another $300.00 into it to get it working again, the saw only had a couple hours on it when it triggered.

Busy Bee told me, I would have to deal with Saw Stop directly, no support from Busy Bee at all. Saw Stop replied to my email requesting me to send the brake cartridge to them for analysis (looks like for their benefit not mine) another extra expense for me.

All in all it is a nice overpriced saw, just don't expect any kind of support from anyone after you buy it.

After emailing customer support for Busy Bee as requested they told me the same thing I was told in the store "we are not authorized to provide warranty or technical support for Saw Stop" So as stated do not expect any support from Busy Bee or Saw Stop after buying one of these saws.

BB usually has what I am looking for though I normally wait for sales prior to purchasing as some items may seem a little expensive compared to online (Eg. Amazon.ca). Sale prices are usually quite reasonable.
Staff is always on hand and ready to assist if need be.
Store front is clean and organized.

I have been a customer of the Dartmouth store for over 20 years, I am a metal worker and in the past getting assistance from staff has been a challenge, history is they simply don't care, I went to the store today to pick up some basic tooling for my mill and lathe, beautiful new store, well laid out and bright. As I walked in two gentlemen were sitting behind the counter engaged in a conversation about something, a man with a black hat approached me to ask if i needed help, this was refreshing as my previous visits I have been ignored, so I asked about a quick change post for my lathe, the look in his eyes told me he was lost, he took me to the metal working area and said it might be best if I come back tomorrow as the store metal worker was off. I was taken back a bit and asked if one of the two guys behind the counter could help me, my business is three hours away, he replied unlikely I needed to come back tomorrow. I ended up at Steller Industries and bought what I needed, sad companies like Busy Bee do not employ or train staff to help.

99% of my dealings have been phone, long distance. Information has been accurate, shipping via truck has been outstanding. Service number 1. Great staff experience.

Busy bee tools is, in general, a good store. You can find some good deals here. I've got an older model of their table saw (contractor) and I couldn't be happier. Some items you just watch out though, for example I've bought F style clamps here that don't catch and just slide down the bar when trying to clamp. They were cheap mind you. Just be aware of what you're getting and do research if you can. This is my main goto place for wood working tools and accessories.

Less than polite staff. Fix your door and don't growl at customers to hold the door in wind gusts. It was broken and a chain hit me in the head as I entered. Third person was very helpful in finding what I was looking for. Probably will avoid if possible.
