It's not safe to take your vehicle to C&A. We got our breaks done and they lost the bolts to the cover that holds the breaks in place so they got lazy and just put 2 random ones on and left 2 off! We know the right ones were on it before because we had them checked before we went in by our regular mechanic and a friend who is a mechanic. Our regular mechanic qas booked up afterwards so we booked C&A. We confronted C&A about the bolts and the mechanic said "sometimes ppl make mistakes". That isn't a mistake.they lost the bolts and deliberately only put 2 different ones on that were not for our vehicle. We noticed our breaks weren't working right and my family could've died if the other 2 incorrect bolts came off (one of them almost did.hence the breaks not working). They said they would order new bolts and fix it but we don't want them touching our vehicle again.
We went to our regular mechanic again today and found out that the breaks C&A put on weren't even serviced properly. They are supposed to put grease on parts of the brake for those parts to work properly. They didn't do that either so our breaks started making squeaking noises. We are NEVER going there again!

UPDATE July 2023:
I am revising my review due to a recent experience. Took our car to get summer tires, new pads and rotors installed. After spending around $800 (!), we left with a car that squeaks when you aren't even braking, and REALLY squeaks when you do. Also there is a clunking noise when braking that was not present before we took it in.
I took it back to them 3 times (from Cole harbour, in traffic, time off work, etc). The initial attempts to fix it were basically someone test driving it and say it was fixed, when it definitely wasn't.
They ended up (on the 3rd visit) putting new pads on and did something to the rotors, but it is STILL squeaking. The rear wheels are also "sticking" as if the brakes are constantly engaged. I am at a loss.
I also found out after doing some research that they charged me a 95 dollar "scanner fee" for something that can be done without a scanner in 5 minutes with a few hex bolts. Unbelievable.
Not sure what happened to this place.if it's new staff or the owner has stopped caring, but I will not be back. Why pay hundreds to have my brakes done wrong, when I can do that myself at home?

My car seat upholstery was full of grease and oil stains when I got my car back. Not happy at all.

Thank you for fast service! My appreciate. I am called many places and always one answer, about 3 weeks for repair. Ceccil get me 2days. This is example, how is business must work.

I have been into C & A Automotive a number of times and always been very happy. The staff have been friendly and considerate. The repairs were always done right. And the price has always been fair. Highly recommend!
