I stopped in to obtain an international driver's permit before a trip to Europe.

Service was friendly though it took a while to be acknowledged by anyone. They were busy but I definitely felt invisible until someone not behind the counter, but at a desk offered me assistance.

Registering for the permit, I asked them about the benefits of membership and if it would be advantageous to my permit registration. I ended up getting a newer class of membership that does not offer roadside assistance since my car comes with that. Instead, I get the discounts which may be beneficial in the long run. Time will tell.

On the plus side, no pressure to sign up for membership. On the minus, I had to pry that information from them. It's like they don't want members!

Caa has the worst property insurance I had ceiling water damage water leak in to my apartment from up above and damage my sofa ceiling and other belongings I have been with caa 10 years and they said it was not covered very terrible service

I had switched to CAA many years ago after shopping around and found their auto insurance rates to be very reasonable, I later moved my house insurance there as well. In 2022 I had a minor accident and in 2023 my wife had a minor accident, no one hurt later we received a registered letter saying that CAA is dropping us as clients. I spoke with 2 CAA representative and was told that it is CAA’ policy to drop any customer who has 2 accidents in a 5 year period and that this is how they keep their rates low. Great insurance company as long as you don’t have to use their insurance.

CAA has been great with policy pricing. Cut my auto and content insurance in half from a company I'd been with for years without claims. Its just kept rising and I called CAA and they quoted me by half! Plus with membership you get insurance discounts and road side assistance and free towing. Well worth the switch! They also insure off road vehicles!

Avoid using CAA Insurance. After receiving this year's jacked up renewal for my home insurance I quickly found another provider - at a much, much lower rate. There was more than enough time to cancel the upcoming payment for the new insurance.
I contacted the broker, Steers Insurance, and they confirmed and assured me the payment would not go through. However, the broker is now blaming CAA Insurance's accounting system for the reason why the payment - without authorization and with the assurance from CAA Insurance themselves - went through anyway.
Now I have to wait until late May to receive the refund for the payment.
Don't deal with CAA Insurance. You, too, will regret it.

I don’t know if this is the location the tow they sent me came from but I had to write this somewhere. I had a guy name Jonny pick up my car (Kia soul for reference) today. He was super friendly, made me feel so much less stressed even though I’ve had 3 solid days of insanity with my car. He made my experience so easy and chill. It literally chilled me out. So I don’t know if anyone reads this but give Johnny a big raise!

Amy was great to work with and fair. I got my van insurance renewed and added tenants insurance which gave me more discounts.

After over a year of CAA membership I finally needed a tow. There I was in the heat of "May weather" sitting in the parking lot of a church with a broke down car, God sent Brandon came to the rescue. He was pleasant, professional and courteous. I was given a lift along with my car to the mechanic. He even took his time to have a chat while we venture into the garage. It made the bad situation to a a really good experience. I thought Brandon was fantastic! He works 4 days on, 4 days off but I feel like he deserves more rest that 4 days, after all he works super hard! Kudos to you Brandon. Thank you for saving the day!

We bought 60 days o travel medical from this dartmouth ns office and things were fine (no claims) untill we tried to extend the coverage for a couple of days at the end. We were informed that since we were going over the 60 days our premium would be approx $5 dollars a day higher than previously paid. This was not a problem untill they said that the $5 a day would also be added to the entire 60 days of the policy- they wanted Approx $225 to extend the policy for 2 days - what a scam -This was not explained at the start and I checked with the manager in the halifax office and was told that I should have only been charged the $5 on the extended days - seems like the right hand doesn't what the left is doing- if you deal with this office get the extension ppolicy in writing -we came home 2 days early Ian A

The staff here were very friendly. Membership prices are very reasonable. I knew that CAA members received discounts at various places but did ot realize the extent of it. Even if you dont need it for your car, the discounts, promotions and deals they offer at restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions and even movies will pay for your membership several times over each year. I would recommend CAA to everyone. Even if you dont own your own car it is worth it as it covers you in whatever vehicle you are driving in and the discounts are a great incentive as well.

If u want a membership, insurance, passport photo, book a trip, then this is your #1 place in the city to do it, you can collect CAA points you can use towards perks within the divisions available also if u want to book a DISNEY TRIP! THEY ARE THE LEADING EXPERTS! U NEED TO SEE THEM, from hotels to dining packages they got you covered, you won't regret using their services

Worst service ever from an insurance company. Was in an accident, and the only reas0n I know what's happened with my claim and car is because the collision repair called me, not my agent. Have spoken to my so called agent once for 5 minutes since my accident 34 days ago! She doesn't even return phone calls to me or to anyone else on ly health team. Would NEVER recommend them for insurance.

Grabbed a seat to do a few things after renewing my IDL here. Was rudely and abruptly told to leave immediately five minutes before their given closing time. Was also given the impression that they thought I was a bad person for not showing up with passport photos. Generally abysmal customer service. As a longtime CAA member this makes me question the meaning of the word.
