Hands down the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the Granjero Breakfast & two potato empanadas, both were packed with flavour, good portions and reasonably priced.
Can’t wait to go back!

Cute restaurant. Food was good but pricey for the amount of food they serve. We all left hungry and paid quite a bit. Very tiny portions. The service could improve, and they have no flexibility on what you want in the dish, like if you want no beans in a dish that comes with beans. First and last time I visit.

I got hooked on the delicious authentic empanadas (Chicken, Beef or Potato), but got curious about all the other interesting items on the menu. Breakfast (9am-1pm) or lunch menu (1pm-5pm), I haven't had a bad dish yet. My goal is to try every dish on the menu and then go back for my favs.

I recently moved back into the area and was hoping to have brunch here every weekend. I had the Madurito breakfast which was a wonderful treat. The flavours were exotic and well balanced and I left quite satisfied. The breakfast came to $30.00 including tip. After searching online, I found this was almost double the price of any breakfast in Halifax. Wonderful food, but keep in mind you are paying inflated food costs and for specialty ingredients. Not affordable on my budget, unfortunately.

I had the Arepa with some ground beef and beans, and chicken empanadas. Cute lil café with delicious food!

Lovely breakfasts, big fan of the soups as well. And of course the grocery has a nice little selection of Latin American goods

Loved the setup and the ambiance. Really takes you to South America. The chicken empanadas were amazing. Staff was very polite. Would definitely visit again:)

Always nice to go in and have a nice Latino dish, good service and always nice to talk to the chef Claudia, and of course the only place to get Latin products that you can't get anywhere

Stumbled upon this quaint restaurant / shop while looking for brunch but unfortunately left hungry. As other reviewers have pointed out, the menu is chock full of Latin American eats but the portions are miniscule. For instance, tostadas are pictured in the menu resembling the size of a large fist but arrive closer to the size of a two bite brownie.

The plate in my picture costs nearly $35!

This place has potential, but you'll have to be sure to order lots if you want to leave full.

Came here for a first date after being referred by a friend. The food was flavourful, the coffee was great, and the staff and owner were very friendly. Will definitely be back!

Lovely vegetarian options, kind and attentive servers. Cozy and welcoming vibe, well spaced out tables with a warm atmosphere. Small latin grocery shop in the back is an added bonus!

My wife and I were looking for a cozy space to grab breakfast ahead of a long day and this place was perfect. Great service, great atmosphere and delicious food. Will definitely make it a place to go every time we are in Halifax.

Loved this place! It was so worth stopping in. Amazing arepas and a really cute shop (they even have Inca Cola)
