Friendly service, excellent traditional food. Enjoyed the food here on each of my trips to Nova Scotia and will be back again.

The service was very nice. The staff warm and welcoming while also gently enforcing the quarantine mandate. We had good breakfast then reserved two servings of Rappie Pie. Took them back to Port Williams and had them for supper. They were very good reheated. I can only imagine what they would be like fresh from the oven.

We returned one year later and found the place to be as warm and friendly as before. They have a really neat gift shop selection. They also have really interesting and informative historical stories on the tables. This time my daughter and I had the meat pie which was delicious. The garden salads came with a homemade salad dressing which was excellent. Our grandson loved their homemade bread.

Thanksgiving dinner is being reserved. It is 10 times tastier than what I make.

Looks like a real cute place & the menu looks good too, however the waitress seemed overwhelmed by the few diners (maybe three tables had people already eating) in the restaurant so I can’t rate the food. After finally getting her attention I let her know that we’d like to eat on the patio, it’s a beautiful day and we have our dogs with us. She let me know it’d have to be a take out order. Fine, she was the only server, I get it. No big deal. Then I waited and waited while she changed the paper in the receipt machine, helped a customer check out. I waited some more. There was only my husband and myself—it was going to be a simple order, but I couldn’t get the time of day. Maybe she was new, maybe this is a locals only kind of place, or maybe she shouldn’t be in a job where she has to interact with tourists. Whatever the reason, she lost her restaurant two customers who tip really well.

Our waitress was amazing. Lovely and clean. Food was tasty with some unique options. We really enjoyed the informative placemats

Loved the food and the location is gorgeous! We had a view of the sunset right across from peggy’s cove. I’d recommend the seafood chowder!

Stopped for lunch on a trip to Peggy’s Cove. The fish cakes were so good. The fish and waffles were so tasty as well.

We had a wonderful breakfast at this charming cafe. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. Their homemade bread was amazing. This spot is a hidden gem. We will definitely be back again for another delightful meal.

First time but hopefully not the last time that we'll visit Cafe l'Acadie. Lunch was amazing, so much variety. Highly recommend it!

Tasty, traditional food. We had the Meat Pie, Rappie Bites with Poutine, Potato Pancakes. All were great. Service was very friendly and attentive. Inviting and cozy. Nice place for a good meal.

Thos is probably the best spot to eat fresh lobster. I mean FRESH. COOKED TO ORDER not previously cooked and warmed for you. Delicious

I gave this restaurant a second chance. I went last year and they never had any lobster. This year they were out of several items. No lobster Rolls, no creamed lobster on haddock, no mussels. I stayed to eat even though it wasn't really what I wanted. I couldn't understand the lawn mowers and weed wackers outside the window at dinner time. I like the smell of the salt air not gasoline. It's probably better for breakfast.

Recently brought a friend from Puerto Rico to the restaurant for a meal. He was unfamiliar with North Atlantic seafood, and it was his first time in Nova Scotia. We had the pan fried haddock with the creamed lobster sauce.portions were generous.it was utterly delicious, service was warm and efficient, and my friend raved about the food.which is, as always my experience too!

We stopped in for a late lunch-early dinner and this became our go to spot for authentic, quality food in the Peggy’s Cove area. First day we had the fish and chips, crispy batter over haddock, plus we tried the maple bread pudding.delicious. Next day we opted for the seafood chowder, generous portions with fresh biscuits, also delicious! The molasses spice cake with lemon cream was also a winner. Great service, highly recommend!

The softest butteriest biscuits I’ve ever eaten! We had the creamed haddock, seafood chowder, fish chowder, and fish cakes. Everything was delicious, we loved the little info on Acadian cuisine on the placemats. Very friendly waitress, cute little restaurant. 100% would recommend for lunch. Would come again!

We R from Southey Saskatchewan, Our Trip from Regina started at the end of Labour Day. By the time we made it thru The Rudist Province of Quebec We knew we had a long wait to get to Halifax. Hence 3 weeks later, we arrived in Peggys Cove, Hungry for a decent meal. We came upon this Jewel. From the moment we entered I felt like I was coming into someone's Home. The Dapper Friendly Guy (l think the owner). Gary was down home friendly, After wanting Breakfast, the menu says. Only Wknd's. Gary said no problem. The Food is all Homemade@ it shows @ Taste Homemade. The Homemade Bread is AMAZING. It's like Air. Ever get this way to Peggy's Cove. U can't leave without coming to this Gem. Gary @ Partner. Your on my list of most Favorite. My Husband had the Meat Pie @ The next time Fish Cakes / Homemade Beans. #10 Gary
