Don’t bring your dog here. Owners hide what actually goes on behind closed doors. History of abusing and mistreating not only the staff but the dogs too. My dogs are still traumatized on medication from being dogs of this establishment. Dog attacks are covered up, the owner is a Misogynistic creep who thinks he can get away with the sus things that go on. These people shouldn’t even be allowed to run an establishment with 80 dogs there at once because 3 small girls cannot control the dogs behaviour. This place won’t be standing a year from now

Top notch doggie day care. The staff are soooo professional, accommodating and caring. Our doggie gets so excited when he realizes where he is going…. As soon as we turn the corner, he is whining with tail wagging frantically! Perfect care and love the CAM.

John and Maureen are always accomodating with reservations on short notice for our Harper. Staff are friendly and always remember us if it's been a while. We've been bringing the dogs for 6 years and have had nothing but a positive experiences.

I adopted a ‘bonded pair’ about a year and a half ago. Shortly after I got them I took them to Camp Bow Wow so that they could socialize with other dogs. One of my dogs (Bailey) got sick at daycare. I guess she was stressed from all the changes she had endured, and developed hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. The staff responded immediately and I was notified promptly.

Just recently this bonded pair decided that they want to be single. Bailey became extremely attached to me. She would not let Blaze near me, tried to steal her food, and toys. The dogs won’t even tolerate being in the same house without becoming aggressive towards each other. Bailey went to live with my daughter. Camp Bow Wow is proving to be a great help re socializing her. She is learning to trust and interact with the staff, and is actively playing with the dogs there. She is a much happier dog now. I give the staff at Camp Bow Wow a lot of credit for the vast improvement in Bailey’s quality of life.

When Blaze starts back in a couple of weeks I fully believe that she will benefit just as much.

Our dogs love Camp Bow Wow, it really is place where a dog can be a dog! The staff and facility are amazing, hours are great and prices are reasonable. We've used a few since arriving in NS, and in our opinion, it's the best Doggy Day Care in the area!

Excellent place for overnight or day care for dogs! All staff love all dogs! My dog comes home happy and exhausted.every time!

Seems to be an annual event going to Camp Bow Wow in Dartmouth. This year, we were taking our daughter for her first year at Dalhousie University, and the whole family was involved.including our Chocolate Lab. Knowing that the dog could have an overnight stay at Camp Bow Wow gave us confidence, reassurance and piece of mind that she (the Lab) would be cared for while we were navigating my daughter through her first day.

Your staff were so welcoming when I brought my pup in for his meet and greet. They were gentle and patient as he got over his nerves. I like the gentle introduction to the group. It gave him time to process. We are both looking forward to his camp days!

I was nervous about how camp bow wow would go for our galgo Django / he’s an anxious dog and is reactive on leash so I really wasn’t sure he’d be a good fit. But John and the other staff were very reassuring and explained how gradual his introduction to the other dogs would go and of course he got along great. We were very thankful for their patience and professionalism and look forward to his next stay there in a month or so! PS it meant a lot that they still remembered our late dogs Rhoda and Rafter, who were frequent campers there - many years ago now!

We had our two dogs at Camp Bow Wow for 5 days while we were out of town and made our plans to get them home and straight in the tub after a long week and were so pleased to find that when we picked them up they had been freshly bathed and their blankets we sent in with them were freshly washed! WOW! That is going above and beyond and really elevated the whole experience for us!

Friendly staff, my pup Blossom absolutely loves going there, she gets so excited she can hardly contain herself.

I like that you take each dogs needs into consideration. I brought in a nervous pup and she was gradually introduced to other small dogs. I like that there is access to the outdoors. I especially like that the staff take the time to pet, and play with the dogs. I like Camp Bow Wow.

Maeve and I love Camp Bow Wow. She is always happy to go, whether for daycare or a pajama party. John and Maureen are knowledgeable owners and pay special attention to every camper.
