Canadian Tire

The store has almost everything you could need. From seasonal items to automotive. I find that the hunting inventory is sub-par compared to many other ct locations.

I went to Canadian tire New Minas for some automotive quotes. Girl was behind the counter and never acknowledged me. I stood there for at least 5 mins. It wasn’t until a young man came out of the shop and waited on me. She stood there looked at me and rolled her eyes. Terrible service with that woman. She was more concerned with her phone then dealing with customers.

If you know what you're looking for and where it's at, you'll be fine, in and out depends on the # of cashiers and how busy. If not, you'll be in for a while and might get frustrated enough to go buy one somewhere else, perhaps.

Very bad they sold me a wrong belt for my car yesterday.the guy checked the part number 4 times because he sold me it.he said it was the correct one, so I went and tore my car apart and the belt was 1 foot to long. I'm not impressed at all. I'll be taking my business elsewheres for my car parts.

A good store to find things you need. It's a Canadian Tire, they got everything from automotive to kitchen supplies, to pet supplies.

All it's missing is a sit down area. Even if I don't buy anything, I would go, just to hang out!

Fast and courteous service. Found what I needed quickly. Thankfully no long cue at check out.

If you have a VW do not take your vehicle here. I came to Canadian Tire in New Minas for a small repair and they made it worse than what it was, now it has caused more problems. They covered up 1 problem and caused 5 more, and was also a rip off for that single repair. I don't think they know what they are doing, at least for VWs.

Same as before Canadian tire is not my first choice price is to high sooner go to big bargain for car parts

Would give 0 stars if I could. Canadian Tire recommended I get an outer tie rod replaced (approx $300), and after ordered the part I went to another (more respected) mechanic in the Valley. Turned out the tie rod wasn’t an issue so I would recommend getting a second opinion on whatever they tell you. Additionally I had tires put on backwards and will now after to replace all of them to pass an inspection due to pealing. Canadian Tire also failed to find an oil leak AND an A/C leak that I had them specifically look for. Truly would only recommend the detailing service here. Also, the manager was extremely rude when talking to him on the phone and did not care to listen to my concerns. You can get much better and cheaper service elsewhere.

Buy my coffee there. Have a wide selection of mamy things and it is easy to find a friendly helper if stuck finding something. Garden shopping is good also.

You may have to wait a bit for your turn, but it worth, had some issue with my wipers, they were not moving.got fixed from here with warranty, got some noise issue after some weeks ‘ went back & got fixed for no cost! Friendly staff.

Called for a part that was dealer only (I didn't know this)
The older guy that answered made it seem like it was my fault he couldn't order it.

Warranty work and customer care, I visited 2 other Canadian Tires in the past 2 weeks with the same Radiator Issue and without going into detail NEITHER found the cause of the issue, just pressure tested, gave me a bill and sent me on my way saying nothing was wrong. Then the issue showed up again while in New Minas on business and I stopped into this location, I explained my multiple visits which they looked up, the service tech spent some time on my car, identified the issue and showed and explained to me, also gave me a couple of options to correct it and ball park price. My review is about the CUSTOMER SERVICE part of this EXPERIANCE.both the service tech and the service manager listed to me and helped me, taking my concerns seriously. I can't tell you how relieved i was to know what the issue was and how to take care of it. After that i went to pay and they said its under warranty you came to us twice, hope you'll come back.have a great day.

Canadian Tire is a reliable place to shop. Also reliably they never have enough cashiers working the registers.

I really enjoy shopping at Canadian Tire because I use their triangle points card all the time. I always find lots of stuff that I need here and I love using my CT money to get free stuff. They have a good clearance section which always has lots of little trinkets at a reasonable price

Canadian Tire New Minas has consistently come through when I need an item. If they don’t have it in stock, they find it. Ray, one of the sales consultants, has been so helpful, and a lot of fun to deal with!

We had just left Valley Hospital in Kentville, NS. Colleen was driving and said our van was pulling to the right. Before going onto the hwy she pulled over to check things out. Well we had a flat on the right front. We slowly made our way to the Irving which was close and we could put air in the tire. This cost $2. We drove to Canadian Tire, New Minas and rushed into the service center as it was 4: 40 and the closed at 5 pm. They were able to fit us right in and fixed our tire. We were out of the store before 5pm. This cost to us $0 as it was covered under warranty. The staff was very helpful, kind and curtious.

The staff at this particular Canadian Tire are the best I've ever encountered. They're helpful, friendly, and really seem to care that you're a satisfied customer. The store is like any other CTC, although bigger than many in this area. The staff make all the difference!

They are getting better as far as sale items, you go to buy something at one time and they seemed to never have enough stock. Like the unadvertised specials.

Although I did not find the item I was in search of, I left the store with a smile
New Minas Canadian Tire you have a remarkable young man working for you who not only was professional, knowledgeable and helpful beyond expectations but was all that and pleasant too. Thank you Alex for your top notch customer service. (I did not know this young man but stopped to ask his name before I left, he deserves a little recognition)
