We came back to the area in 2018 and have found the Tantallon Store to be the most friendly, courteous, competent and caring whole Team approach as we have ever had the pleasure of shopping with. Every single Team Member brings nothing less than smiles. Thank you for outstanding dependability.

Fast and friendly, just the way I like it! Stopped to get a car battery, they had it in-stock and ready to go. I and out in less than five minutes.

Bought Winter tires online. Which was Great! Brought the rims in to change over (after sitting for over 30 mins in the parking lot due to a power outage and systems having to come back up) this process was smooth. Now returned today to see what was taking place with the tires, encountered to Older gentleman at the service counter who I must say customer service is NOT his greatest accomplishment. The tires and rims were in limbo somewhere and the reason was because they were purchased online? The switch over was not completed and was told it would be 2-3 weeks before they would be done. Which I wasn't told last week in person or when I called. I was will say this is my last visit to the service dept. I was hesitant in the first place because of another experience with the same Fella however this time confirmed it.

I have been coming here since the store opened. It's in a great location and the staff members are genuinely friendly and helpful.

I had mixed feelings about this visit. On one hand they had the product I needed and the staff were friendly enough. My problem is that I came in from an hour away to get this. I ordered curb side pickup. I came and parked in the curbside pickup spot. I think followed the instructions on the sign to go to my email and fill out the form. That part was easy and then I waited. I was the first in queue. Waiting for the order to be acknowledged still. Listen to a song on the radio. Still waiting. Talked to my spouse for a bit. Still waiting to be acknowledged. Looked at Facebook and drill waiting. By this point several minutes gad passed so I called the number on the sign that's there in case you have a problem. A lady answered. She was very nice. I told her of my issue. She said "Yeah the orders sometimes just don't come through. That's why we recommend that you call us instead". Thst recommendation was not on the sign. No respect for our time

I brought my vehicle in for a new set of tires. While I waited, I browsed about the store. The entire staff, regardless of which section, was friendly-approachable and willing to help; "Can I help ya find something. " The shop steward had good knowledge of the product to which he recommended. Keys turned over, thank you very much.can I reach you at this number? The vehicle was ready, paid and off I go. Took possession, drove off, got on the hwy and it became apparent that the vehicle technician couldn't have balanced the wheels any better. Even mentioned about my rear brakes. Well done Tantallon Canadian Tire…….

As per normal at this particular CT; the staff and specifically automotive team go beyond to bring you in on information about your car that needs attention that you won’t have known otherwise. I don’t let just anyone touch my Barchetta. Thanks again

This in realation to the Auto Service Department only. Last year had my wife's vehicle here for an undercoat. Once complete my wife heard a noise underneath whe driving home they didn't even bolt back on the panel for the undercarriage and it was dragging along the ground. When talking to the service manager they didn't seem to care to much about it.

Bought a generator on Tuesday and the staff were great, both in getting it down from the stack and loading it into our car for us. They were polite and great with advice, and even declined a tip for their help! I worked at a CTC oh so many years ago and know that good service is not just a sign of good staff, but also of a good store manager and owner.

Excellent customer service. I purchased a riding lawn mower and I was picking it up. The cutting deck that was attached to the lawn mower was to long to fit in the trailer I rented. The staff was very helpful in detaching the deck from the mower and loading everything onto the trailer.
In this day and age it is very hard to find staff who will not only be friendly but who will go above and beyond to help a customer. Keep up the great work.

We were biking the trail and what a pleasant surprise to find this little spot. A beer our picnic lunch made this past of a perfect day.

So inconsistent. Sometimes good then sometimes you bring tires and rims down. Wait a week (non peak season) nothing. Go down. Not done. Wait another 4 days. Nothing. Call. Only there to work the desk. Go down next day. Nothing. Take tires somewhere else. No apology.

UPDATE.
THINGS have greatly improved

I went to this location for a specific item that said online had two in stock. I get there look around can’t find it on the shelf ask a associate he tells me that there aren’t any but I could go to another store. They may have one.this is the consistency with Canadian Tire with their stock levels and not being able to find or have the item in stock even though it says it is online.

Good Canadian Tire.
Generally knowledgeable staff, maybe once of 25 trips I found no one there to help but that means 24 of 25 were good experiences

At one time you could rebuild your car in their parking lot now you can buy pots and a lamp.

A great rural CT.loads of stuff, terrific staff, friendly and clean. Unlike Bayer's Lake CT, this CT has staff working that know where things are!
