I bought a pair of neoprene chest waders only to find they leaked on the first hunt. I took them back and they would not issue me cash back for them because they could not resell them. I wanted to buy a pair elsewhere but couldent because they gave me a refund card.very frustrating its not my fault their product malfunctiond

I don’t understand why no one ever picks up the phone at your service desk. It is absolutely ridiculous. I unfortunately can’t give you less than 1 star.

Found the dish I was looking for.and it was 50% off. The store was very organized and the staff was helpful.

On their website, it said that they sold butterfly knifes. Sorely disappointed when I actually went and found only small pocket knifes.
Can even say have a good day because I was going to get my brother a real butterfly knife for his birthday, instead of the trainer which does not have a sharp edge.
Thanks for click-baiting me, can’t believe I actually fell for it.

Edit: And would you look at that? The butterfly knife instantly disappears from the website.

We needed to replace the back tires on our Journey after traveling from Windsor ON to Halifax NS, towing our popup trailor. They got us in fairly quick, so we could continue on our journey back home

It happened twice on different dates for different products: I checked the website first to make sure it was worth the trip, and it said the products I was looking for were on stock at this store. Arriving there.there were none. I won't try it a third time.

I really got such a bad customer experience in auto parts service. I was just explaining my situation to the lady who was sitting on service desk. She even didn’t listen me properly and started saying “ I can’t help you! Whenever we go to buy something they give good service but whenever we you go with a complaint never listen anything!

Has alot of different stuff from the other store in Sackville. Although, I love my Sackville store! The staff were Friendly and the store was clean. Not overly busy either

Horrible! They serviced the breaks and they are making a grinding noise when I try to stop. I took the car back because it's under warranty and they charged me to inspect them, said nothing was wrong and refuse to fix them. NEVER GOIING BACK.

I am a senior, with limited mobility.
This store provides an electric shopping cart to get around the store.
Great support for us people with limited mobility.
Cart battery was low, but was able to get my shopping done easier with this cart.
Left cart by exit, as it needed charging,
Told associate about it, they would see to it.
Store is well stocked, well lit, and staff were very helpful in finding things and good directions given. Very knowledgeable in layout of the store.

Great staff, amazing line of products, good in store deals. I took one star off because it can get a little cluttered sometimes with extra products in the middle of aisles, nothing that would stop ne from shopping at this store.

The staff here were the most helpful, personable staff I have seen in any Canadian tire. They were AWESOME! I had interactions with 4 different people, sorry I cannot remember their names, but they were so awesome! So impressed! If you are going to a Canadian Tire, choose this one. Thanks guys!

Just had a fantastic experience with the auto service centre. Car was acting up with a mysterious tendency to only start about 60% of the time. Gear shifter seemed to be acting up too. To make a long story short, it turns out that another service shop who had done our MVI did a really sloppy job of putting things back together and they had bent things, and wires were becoming disconnected (you can tell I'm not a car person with all my technical terms: p). The Canadian Tire team fixed our car back up to working condition and what I feared might be a thousand dollar visit was only around 300. Couldn't be more pleased with the end results (and you can imagine that that other service centre is dead to us). Will definitely come back here if the need ever arises (though fingers crossed were set now for a little while longer!). Thanks guys for the hard work!

Very Bad experience (from the staff) I had today for Tyre change. I will not suggest Canadian Tyre, Chain lake. I have informed the Supervisor, But no effect, I wasted my time. Will not go next time for Tyre change.

Very good, nice product range even if a little hard to find items without asking. Maybe put some terminals through the store to supplement finding items, with minimal staff.

I had brought my car in to get tires mounted onto rims and get an alignment done. The alignment wasn’t able to happen but my car was at the shop for 2 hours and they said they ran out of time and couldn’t put my tires on. So I wasted 2 hours and spent $60 dollars to be told they did nothing. Plus the guy working the front desk was super rude and not helpful. Awful time, support local, don’t waste your time and money taking your car to Canadian tire

The employees here are friendly and will treat you well. They are attentive and remember issues and do their best to fix them and even go above and beyond.

Horrible service. You will never get through to any department over the phone. I tried 5 times and was put on hold for 15 minutes each time before it had me leave a voicemail. I never heard back after leaving a voicemail. Extremely frustrating. I will not be using this store again anytime soon

A place that discriminates. Their sign on the door "No mask No service" tells you everything you need to know about this business. People with medical conditions are denied service at this place. Our family will never ever support Canadian Tire again.

Empty shelves and bed bath and beyond has better prices on some items. Also, I understand covid protocols but some people (not me) cannot wear masks and signage all over the front says no exceptions. Kind of rude. Not everyone can make time for pickup and half the stuff here says in store only, no delivery.

Placed a curb side order on Saturday afternoon around 4, the charge went through immediately on my card but no communication at all. Finally got a text at 5: 20 on Sunday that it was ready to pick up. Best part is the store closes at 5 on Sunday’s. Don’t expect curb side orders to be quick

I love shopping at Canadian Tire. Honestly, being able to find where the items are from the app or website is one of my favourite features. In and out in less than 5 minutes, prices are always great!

Canadian Tire is a great store. This location has a great selection of products.

However, as most people will tell you, steer clear of haveing work done on your vehicles. They will charge crazy prices and fish for more problems to boot.

I once needed an alternator 1000$$ oh wait it wasnt the alternator it was the timing $$$

I love the Bayers Lake location, it's nice and big and well laid out. It also has a great diversity of of stock, oh and lots of free parking.

I was in the store awhile ago I was looking for a badminton racket and Noah from the sports section was very kind in leading me to them he helped me a lot so I came on here to thank him.

To look up things like product information or size, you need to get help from an employee, and finding "employees" is extremely difficult. If you find an employee and look at the product, but you don't like it, you need the help of the employee to see another product. I live within a straight line of 300 meters from this Canadian tire store, but I don't visit any more.

I purchased a motomaster eliminator battery booster, 149.99 plus tax 13 months ago I went to use it was dead and couldn't take a charge.
The clerk told me there is nothing they can do
No warranty no replacement at the Bayers lake location, what a loss to me
It's a rip-off and avoid this business if you need after sale service.

Very rude staff in automotive. Today I went for tires change from winter ️ to regular ones. Initially, When I called to check for price they quoted $90+tax after submitting my car, waited till end of day and ended up with paying $245. When I questioned about this issue lady in automotive responded very loud, high pitch, rude that I signed on a document that I agreed to pay. I clearly said I know the context and document I signed on. She aggressively responded to me that I have to pay and I know you are regular customer.

Highly NOT RECOMMENDED. If you have any plans to change tires Or any minor repairs also be prepare to pay $150-$500 with out doubt.

Very poor and unprofessional sevice from Manager Christine, I went there to buy Treadmill. I asked that lady (she was very rude and showing me the attitude that she is giving this for free),
I asked can you please hold for one day so that i can bring my truck to load, she straight away refused for holding
second question I asked can somone help me to load she said due to COVID19 no body will help to load in the truck you have to arrange your own help,
I asked can i turn it on to check whether its working or not cause it is display model she again refused and said you can not turn it on
I end up left the store,

Ordered a vacuum online for curbside pick up. When I got there I called and within 30 seconds a fantastic young man brought it out for me. Friendly, quick easy and safe in the era of COVID-19. I was very impressed!

They fixed my car very professionally I was browsing at the retail store found some nice greetings cards and bought some items the place has both great deals very limited and very high prices for most items you have to have enough time to weed the good prices

Don't waste your time with order to pick up. Wife ordered an in demand product, gave them credit card info were told order is being processed. Were about to head out the door and got an apology email that they were sold out. Unacceptable.

The Bayers lake Canadian Tire is a bigger store and has alot more variety then most Canadian Tire stores.

Not great customer support, I had a bad experience from a young gentlemen. And I spoke with supervisor, she said if you have any complaints do online survey, Anyhow I added his photo. If somebody need any help avoid him

Huge store with great selection, I still prefer Dartmouth Crossing location for layout. They reply to reviews and value feedback.

The only reason I'm taking a star away is because the employees really didn't seem to eager to help out when they clearly could tell I was a customer looking for assistance. Besides that the store was clean, organized and great sales!

This is a great Canadian Tire store. Large store with lot of variety of products, also a big auto service center.

I love Canadian Tire. Great prices. Fabulous sales and all sorts of things there that I had no idea that I needed.

They customer service was terrible, I called and was left on hold for 45 minutes. I hang up and called back again, after that they were rude and told me to be patient and someone would soon be with me. Then I was left on hold for another 20 minutes! Then they weren't very helpful they kept being obnoxious. Now I don't mind if you are busy but leaving someone on hold for 65 minutes is unacceptable, and then not even getting an apology, I will never shop there again!

It's a big box store. They've got a lot of stuff. Maybe they have what you want. Maybe you can find it.

This is the only store in wbich i recommenx buying tools online and not in store. Tools kept under lock and key. If you're lucky to find a sales associate, they take out the item anx take it to the Customer Service counter fir you. You, however, must go stand in line anx tell the cashier to go get said tool from the other counter, because you're obviously going to steal it. Obviously. Without a doubt, you cannot be trusted to carry a dual pack of allen keys for $29.99 all the way to the checkout unaccompanied. Seriously, buy tools somewhere else or buy them online.

I shop at Canadian Tire regularly and always manage to find things I didn't know I was looking for lol

Tried to buy a car battery and they wrapped up a $70 warranty in the battery that I didn't ask for, and was not made a parent that it was optional. One of the sales staff had to clarify with another member of Staff if it was code xyb, or code ABC for my battery. It was only because I asked what the difference was between those two that they finally spilled the beans that one had a three-year warranty and one had a five year warranty. The extra two years with $70 on a $130 battery. They tried to pull a fast one. Buyer beware with dealing with their service department

It was ok. I wanted a specific item that was on sale and of course it was gone. I did purchase another item that I needed. So it was not a wasted trip.

Canadian Tire has always been a great place to shop. Started shopping there as a kid for tires for my bike and bought a pair of work shoes today

Customer service is bad anything you say is wrong, on the phone i was hung up on 3 times until i called a different department did not even have the time to speak i was put on hold when the maintenance department answered she was rude i do not recommend this store for car services not only me but some of my family members went in to get new brake pads but had to pay for the whole brake system because the "NEW" calipers that were installed on the vehicle were not good but the ones they replaced were NEW if its not CT product they will try to change it to charge you more we asked for the calipers back they refused its literally "i walk in for a flat i drive out with a new transmission" shame on you CT its bad when a box store as big as CT tries to scam money from you again i do not recommend this store for anything

I recently made an online purchase of an emergency lantern for a friend, expecting to make the pickup at the store Friday. She arrived at the store only to be told that what I paid for was sold to someone else who was standing in line. This goes directly to the integrity of store management. The Poor decision making also raises huge trust issues regarding online buying from Canadian Tire! As it should. It’s not what you do when everyone is looking, but what you do when No one is looking. CT you are pathetic!

Okay, so just last week I walked into a store across the street from where I live. I won't give you the name of the store but it rhymes with Tall-Fart. I walked around the store for about an hour looking for something, and that whole time I did not see a single clerk.

TODAY I walked into the Canadian Tire and within a few minutes a clerk approached me in the hardware section and asked me if I needed help finding anything. I told her what I wanted and she showed me exactly where it was.

That is service.

That is the kind of customer service that makes me want to spend my money in the Canadian Tire, rather than anywhere else. I see a lot of stores cutting back on clerks and on cashiers. That approach just leads to frustrated customers and folks saying forget-about-it and going online to order whatever they are looking for. Keeping your store aisles full of helpful sales clerks is a smart forward-thinking policy.

That's worth five stars in my book.

A little disappointed by the stock they had avaliable in the pool department. Shelves in a few departments seemed pretty bare.
I did love all the discounted items and clearance in the center rows!
