Canadian Tire

This store has everything I need for house repairs and much more! Everything from bird seed to wheel barrows, curtain rods, coffee machines, vacuum filters, cleaning supplies, paint, frying pans, plants, Christmas decorations, and of course automotive products too! The staff is usually very helpful, and the checkout lines move well due to the many self checkout stations. I visit often for my everyday household needs, and stock is always available! Love this store.

Quick in and out stop, good customer service, great pricing. There is no better place to shop. Thank you Brittany for all your help! Always a pleasure to shop!

When my father used to get his catalogue in the mail he'd jokingly say his new bible arrived.
I've often found the staff here friendly and willing to help. With the variety of decent quality things they carry, I stop in here often. You did know Canadian Tire has a tool rental program as well right?

Item could not be found. They had three, no staff on the floor to help. The courtesy desk had to get it for me.

Quick in and out stop, good customer service, great pricing. There is no better place to shop.

It's not bad, large selection of everything and a great christmas selection.but I find the employees on the floor don't seem to have the knowledge about their section they should to be able to help the customers.

Love Canadian Tire, always a good clean space to shop in, everything is fairly easy to find in the store, friendly staff!

Besides groceries, Coffee and timbits, they honestly have you covered. I recently went in just to buy some cheap fishing lures, and the young sales associate spent 10 minutes trying to help me find the exact lures I needed for the fish I was trying to get. Great service.

Can't speak for the automotive side of things however.

Yesterday I tried to purchase a trailer. There was no one in the store that was trained to do the transaction. I understand with pandemic you may be short staffed. At the time, I talked with the manager. They told me to come back Monday. Today is Monday. My girlfriend has been waiting in your store for almost an hour to get serviced. By the time someone has spoken to her about this the only mechanic available to safety the trailer is on lunch. They told her come back in an hour. We both have jobs and she came to do the purchase on her lunch on Monday via instructions from the manager yesterday. So why is she waiting for an employee to service her? This is unacceptable! Please explain why we have to make 3 trips to your store to make a $3000 dollar purchase? Just to be clear that was a rhetorical question! We spend a lot of money at your store. I mean I just bought a mower from you guys that was like $5000. This is a great way to loose good customers! Please cross train your managers and employees between departments so that there is competent employees available to service your customers! If the only employee in the store has gone for lunch, the solution is not to make the customer wait. It is to page the employee from lunch so they can do the transaction and they can finish lunch when the sale has been expedited!

Pleasantly surprised by the amount of stock and variety of different items compared to Ontario that reflect, I suppose the more rural nature of Nova Scotia.
No negatives, just don't like giving 5 stars. Everyone needs some reason for improvement

Canadian Tire has everything you need. Since they expanded there are many different items you are looking for.

A great mid-sized store. Carrying a wide selection of the items you expect CTC to feature. Remodeled, updated, and expanded over the last two years has certainly improved the shopping experience for the customer.

I bought a treadmill with delivery and assembly. There seemed to be a disconnect between delivery and assembly but I have only wonderful things to say about Yarmouth store manager, Rich and Tanner in online. Well done

This store is discriminatory toward anyone with a medical exemption for wearing a mask. I was a lifelong customer, but will never return there again. The quality of their products has diminished over the years anyway, so I'm likely better off not giving them my business anyway.

Customer service has always been a good experience for me no problem's for me always able to get what I'm looking for if they carry it, if it's not store never a problem in getting it for me always enjoy shopping here. One of the best things they have is an app that tells you if it's in stock and where it is located in the store and if there is any problems workers always been helpful. This yarmouth store always offers a good shopping experience and is my favorite place to shop.

Canadian Tire has definitely stepped up their game On Sale items have been available everytime I've gone in and the one time it wasn't I checked the Canadian Tire App and it said there was supposed to be some in stock. So I showed the worker what I was looking for and they yup we should have some I'll go look and came out with a box full, made my day Also the Canadian Tire app is my favorite and works really well telling me exactly what aisle my item is in

I just called the store to find out about a $1200.00 item and since you dont have one in stock, i have to pay a shipping fee to bring it in from another store.not very impressed.there are other places i can order from without paying shipping.

The entire shopping experience was pleasant. Store is kept clean and organized. Staff were friendly and helpful. I could have spent half the day checking everything out. I love that they have a mini Party City in the store. Purchased the exact BBQ I wanted that was only in stock at the Yarmouth location. Staff had it ready for me when I went outside and loaded it into the car. I am very happy.

Messed up a number of times on my vehicle in their shop. Most Staff members are friendly. Decent prices on items on sale. Have rain checks and price matching available and more recently a online order area.

Next visit? Not after how you treated me 2 year old daughter. And I'm not calling you. I'm looking for all my receipts to return all my stuff.

Excellent service, store is well laid out, upgraded and offers all major departments with great selection. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parts counter has a very high level of service and friendly help.

Tons of items, amazing expansion just finished and now they have an even bigger store to serve customers. Return policy is great too!

My first visit since renovations were completed. It's great. A little more room between the shelves, and better organized.

The newly renovated Yarmouth Canadian Tire looks great, and has a wider selection than ever. Having Self-checkout as an option is a great addition too.

Would never order online from Yarmouth Canadian tire again. Worse experience. Money was taken for my order right away (when it showed the item was in stock) the next day receive an e mail saying my order was canceled, but I was not charged (which I was and the money was not refunded) I have made many calls and spent a lot of time on hold still with no luck having my money refunded! When I asked why they now show the item I had ordered showed there was even more in stock at that location i was told they were rain checks? Well shouldn’t it show 0 in stock? Not more, and I said so I could place this order again online and have my money taken out of my account again just to have my order canceled? And was told sorry. That was it! Still trying to get my money back! Not impressed at all! Worse head ache I have ever had ordering something online in all my life!

Although the store is a little confusing, as they are in the middle of huge renovations, the staff were very friendly and helpful trying to find out what got moved where.

Sold me the wrong size tyres which I had to go back and get changed. Then rebook my car to have them fitted. On a positive note they did sort me out with the right ones the same day

Like the new renovations to the store. I go there to buy anything I need to change on my car, and SUV. There good, and ready to help you with whatever your looking for.

Got an undercoat done. I was impressed with the service. The total car was done properly, and they washed it afterwards. Most people dont realize that Canadian tire uses the absolute best rated product in their under coating, Corrosion Free. Krown comes in 2nd. Even the military use the same product. No, I don't work for or have any association with Canadian Tire or anyone that works there.

I’ve only been back home for a week, I’ve already spent 400$ In your store. Today after being followed the whole time in your store like I was a thief, I will not only never return, but the owner can phone me and personally return every item I’ve purchased from you. You’ve just lost your best customer. The sign in the front was right, your store sure “wow’d” me!

Terrible service. Purchased a troy bilt tractor and paid for assembly. It was not put together correct, wrong battery installed, and had electrical problems. I was told by manager i should have known they installed wrong battery. I paid almost 4000.00 and was treated VERY POORLY. Spend you money elsewhere.

I was having new tires an front end work done. The staff were great as usual, they are friendly and helpful. They tried to keep the costs as low as possible and did the work quickly. I have been there before and will definitely go back.

Bought a swing set online got the email saying it was ready to pick up from store drove a hour to pick it got there and know saying they didn't get the money even tho I showed them my bank statement showing that they have took it out of my account and got the email saying it was all good to go saying they will cancel the order and the money SHOULD come back into my account within a few day and can order it again and drive another hour to pick it up and won't even offer a discount for all my time wasted if I order again

Definitely one of the better Canadian Tires. They have almost everything here and it is so much fun poking around.

It's a bit pricey compared to a Walmart, but a lot of quality brands. They sell bus tickets as well when they have them in stock.
