Canadian Tire

Canadian Tire is always a good stop. I love the product finder screen to help me find what I need.

I found an item on line that was at a sale price. They had it here but refused to sell it to me at the advertised price. Poor service and no support.

It’s a good size store, lacking inventory in a few departments like plumbing, but a good store. The staff are usually pleasant to interact with. I go often

Convenience spot. Good place to get seasonal gear and some tools. Good kitchen section as well. It's worth a visit and sometimes you can get really good sales. I took off the star because sometimes the prices aren't that great and you can get better at Walmart or elsewhere if you can find the same things.

That being said, if you're more of an outdoors person, then this is the place to shop.

Came here on time. But they started late. Not good for bussiness and timing. People should not have to wait 20 mins past there appointment. And then probably charge for a extra hour. I'll find out

Horrible prices! Lived in Northern Alberta for 16 yrs, here in Nova Scotia they take advantage of their customers. Shame! -10

After leaving the Port Hawksbury Canadian Tire and having such a horrible experience it was a breath of fresh air to see staff that actually wanted to help. From dealing with a rude on duty Manager at one store to dealing with happy respectful kids at another. They did not have the kayak I was looking for but did however assist me in finding a similar kayak and took the time to locate it in the store as it was not with the other kayaks. Great job clean store.

Been in and out of the store several times this summer as I have spent a good amount of time visiting in the area. Always met with friendly and helpful staff.

I did have an interesting experience the last time. Tried to return 4 cans of Plasti Dip and was told that “because they were bought at another Canadian Tire (Saint John, NB) ” I could get a gift card, but not cash back. Didn’t know of that policy. Is that always true at this store?

I chose to keep the the items and the next time in New Glasgow was able to return them for cash rebate.

I was at Canadian Tire today returning a defective mower and buying a new one. Even though Canadian Tire was understaffed, I appreciated all the help that I got. The manager on duty deserves a raise for all his help and patience! The girl at customer service also deserves a shout out for her help

No good knife sharpener kits half the staff doesnt know where anything is if you can find a staff member.the bloody store name is canadian tire and they sent me to KENT for WHEEL weights! This town is more and more ridiculous

Absolutely disgraceful store. This store never has advertised sale items in stock, floor staff are nowhere to be found, and the weekend hours are awful. Once I had them change my tires and they didn't even tighten the lug nuts. Long story short, I had a wheel come off while driving and their response was that it wasn't their fault and offered no assistance.

Did some early Christmas shopping for an item on sale in the flyer. Needed assistance, found someone to help. He was knowledgeable about the item and suggested choices needed to go with the item. The item was a bit heavy so he took it to the cash and all the way out to my car. Couldn't ask for more than that.

This Canadian Tire location had improved since it's expansion a few years back. You can usually find everything you need.

Hit or miss on staff attitude. Especially at customer service/return department and auto service/parts staff.

Great store, especially since they enlarged and modernized it. It can be crazy hard to find an employee if you need help, but otherwise I enjoy shopping here.

Its a very versatile store with lots of accessories. It mainly sells electronic and mechanical equipments like metal things. There are gardening tools and repairing materials which are always available in this store. The staffs of this store is very nice and friendly.

I’ve had better customer service from a self checkout machine! Store was cluttered with random products in the middle of aisles.had three staff bunched together at all times working on the same project. When I needed to talk to a manager, they were quick to step out and disappear.

Lots of staff on hand, great selection and price of seasonal goods like plant pots and fertilizer!

Good store with wide variety of goods. Only thing I hate is the corral lineup at the checkout. I hate those things

One of the largest I've been in, with a great selection. The staff know where things are and are very friendly and helpful.

Like to look up items on the computer. It tells you where to find it in store. Saves time looking.

I really want to see some more archery equipment here. 70Lb Arrows would be great and at a competitive price?

Smaller compared to other Canadian tire stores I’ve been to - but more organized and easier to locate staff when you need help with something. Staff were friendly and check out was quick and easy

New larger store is great, but they have some strange hours and close fairly early some nights.

Typical Canadian Tire if you know what you're looking for and it's on sale I think you get good prices

Staff lack knowlegde. After waiting 4 hours to have bike assembled we left with no bike. Told them we'd take extra time and wait, and the person was in to put together but wasn't that day, had my number, never bothered to call and tell us the difference.went back manager didn't even apologize.not happy. Last few visits not good

Went for a Christmas gift, the service in the car department was horrible, waited 30 minutes for assistance (no one was there) three times I was told by another employee that they would get someone right out. To find the assistance when I finally was being helped very underwhelming.the person appeared to be annoyed in having to assist me. After getting no where as he was unable to help me, he took my name and number and advised they would call me with the information and so I could order what I was looking for (which was in their sales flyer) never received anything further from them.

The staff members at this store are very friendly and helpful. I think they had some "growing pains" with the renovations, but they seemed to have worked out the kinks now. I love that this is a pet friendly store and I've been shopping there more often since learning that (even when I don't have my doggo with me). That in itself makes me want to support the business. The new owner, Mike, doesn't seem to mind working the front lines (wish more management did this) and he also generously donated to the non-profit I work for last year.

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I've had some issues with their auto service, but I'm willing to look past that since the rest of the store seems so great.
