I've been here many times and didn't get help but if u keep calm and consistent u will get the help u need I want give a shout out to the doctor in raz rapid assessment for helping with getting my meds and for the guy that does the intake and for the lady that does it aswell I think her name is Michelle she was a sweetheart and helped me out much love to the people that help where they can keep strong

I had surgery hear a week ago and I want to say the nurses in triage were very professional for what they have to work with. After surgery I was admitted to 3a where the nursing staff were very friendly and professional. I would like to congratulate them all for a job well done. Thank you very much.

Doesn't treat indigenous patients properly and ignores their issues or mistreats them

Unorganized Emergency department due to being understaffed and laid out poorly. For the only functioning Emergency department around it should function better. Take tips from other hospitals supplement nursing staff with paramedics. Staff is great but NSHA is failing.

I've had a recent experience with the CBRH, and I just want to say that the staff are awesome. They are working with a lot of challenges, and they get up and do it everyday, all of them.the cleaners, the dietary staff, the maintenance, the nurses and paramedics and doctors and social workers, and volunteer agencies, just everybody you can think of are working so hard and with the best cheer they can muster at the time under some very trying circumstances. Even the people waiting for care are awesome, they're just tired and worried and experiencing more than just what brought them to CBRH. A lot of places can be considered the 'heart' of a community, but the 'soul' part is all the people in it, and all the work crews and the planning going on around the CBRH reflects that understanding, and I just want to say that I appreciate it. Give'r!

Never met a crew if professionals that had each other's back even if it risk a patient dying

Don’t want to give any star, after waiting there for 24 hours in severe pain doctor didn’t see properly they don’t do any test just gave pain reliever medicine I can also take it at home I come there to cure my disease but didn’t get anything just waste my valuable time
very bad service ever In my life.after waiting long time they should provide good service to patients. Staff is very rude.

Came to the hospital for difficulty breathing along with chest and back pains from straining so hard to breathe. I was having an asthma attack. Was sent to the waiting area, after a hour I went back up the the triage nurse telling him I’m having a very hard time trying to catch my breath especially with the masks on I can’t breathe. He told me I could breathe because my stats were fine when I came in an hour ago. I’m telling him that I cannot and my inhaler is giving me no relief. He tells me it’s probably anxiety and he is not rushing me because I’m not sicker than half the people in the waiting area.
I understand that people there are sick but when a person is telling you they can’t breathe and you brush it off instead of rechecking stats like breathing isn’t necessary.

Still in the waiting room, its been 9 hours so far. I came in trying to get a tetanus shot as i have no family doc. Theres no justification for this wait time, its a simple procedure.

I went in with a broken wrist after a car accident and waited 11 hours to be injected with ketamine and told Id have no memory, but I do remember intense hallucinations, just for them to not fix my wrist at all. Then telling me to come back the next morning to do it all over again.

Longest wait ever, left after a 13 hour wait without any service. The hospital reminds me of an insane asylum. It is just rows and rows of uncomfortable seats with little to no cushioning. The hospital also does not give out pillows if you plan on sleeping. The best you're gonna get is a thin blanket which barely warms you at all. If you plan on going to a hospital, it's more worth it to drive to Halifax rather than coming here

I came to life just because of dedicated staffs n doctor in emergency as well OBG surgeon. I have remember a lot of faces but don’t know their names. I want to thank you each and everyone of you in the name of God to bring my life back.
