My best little buddy (Mugsy) had surgery this morning with Dr. McPherson. I was almost in tears dropping him off and she reassured me he would be ok. She genuinely cared. Everything went well and this vet saved me almost $1000. Amazing and caring staff! Highly recommend

I changed vets due to my former one loosing veterinarians. This created havoc with trying to get timely appointments. I’m so glad I chose Central Nova, it is well worth the drive from Pictou County because the appointment efficiency is amazing, staff is friendly and helpful and the building is clean and presentable. Had a very sick 4 pound Chihuahua her vet had no doctor today, no other vet would help in my area called central vet they took her right in and even cheaper. Worth the drive she is doing much better. Thanks you guys rock.

In spite of how busy this office is they have always fit us in when we needed to get in to see them. They have shown my animals compassion and care and shown us respect as well. Two weeks ago we had to put our beautiful fur baby Hope to sleep. Your staff were so kind and compassionate! You were so gentle with her. Then today we received a sympathy card from you. Inside the card was a little paw print of our girl with her name under it and a little heart. It broke my heart but with all our babies we have always said that losing them is the hardest thing about having them. And we always said they left us with a paw print on our heart. The entire staff, front desk, veterinarians, and people behind the scene are all amazing here. We have been frequenting this wonderful facility since about 2017. We are bunny people! Dr. Babineau has helped us countless of times with our late Fauna's dental problems and helped us navigate difficult waters with our dear late Dusty. I am thankful for all the compassion you showed during that difficult time. Dolly, Rudy, and Peanut, our rescue bunnies, were all spayed/neutered here during the pandemic. With the recent absence of our local rabbit vet, we find ourselves again driving 3 hours for help and we are so thankful you are willing to see us and our 'exotic' and fragile little family memebers. I would like to see better scheduling of the different types of animals being together in the office at one time. Several loud barking dogs and smaller stressed pets can maybe be scheduled at different times outside of emergency. However it is still my favourite vet.

Wonderful Service! Kind and understanding employees! When my dog hurt her back they did everything to help her recover, giving me a heads up on the cost every step of the way. After loosing our older day back in March, it was very scary not knowing what may happen to Princess. The vet was completely understanding and took great care of her while she was there. It's been a few weeks since she hurt her back and she is recovering wonderfully. I am so thankful for all the people working at the Central Nova Animal Hospital! Dr Babineau and tech Ally are both amazing and compassionate. We had to make a very hard decision on putting our 12 yr old Newfoundland down and they helped every step of the way. All the staff are very kind and make you feel that your pet is family and the most important thing in the world!

The staff here are caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. I wouldn't take my animals - fur and feathers both - anywhere else.

Took my cat (who got attacked by something) to get checked out. Staff were friendly and Vet Technichian was fantastic. My cat got examined, got a shot of antibiotics and I left with medicine to help with pain. I was scared to see the bill but surprisingly it was 132.00. So I was relieved and my cat is all good.

Amazing staff! Very busy, squeezed my baby in & then squeezed him someone did lol he's doing much better. Amazing how fast he went back to hiself.

Very nice girls at reception. And my nurse always makes my cat relax even when I can't. It's always a quick in and out visit. Love ot there.

We took our puppy here due to an emergency situation due to our puppy aspirating. Dr. Collins was excellent not only with our pup but in explaining the situation, or options, and possible outcomes. He still has a potential challenging road to recovery, but I am confident that no matter what, Dr. Collins and the rest of the staff have done their very best and I am thankful for their compassion and honesty and will not hesitate to bring our puppy back if needed.

We usually a see a different vet every time, but they are always wonderful and caring. They treat our dogs so well, and love when they come in for visits to hug them!

My cat was seen through their emergency service. Very helpful and excellent staff got my cat through this ordeal.
