It is very frustrating that my application for citizenship is still up in the air when I submitted it 2022. The last update that I got was early 2023 and nothing followed after.
Few of my close friends whom I share the house with just applied 3 months ago, (later than mine) were just done with oath taking yesterday. This is ironic and unfair.
Something needs to be done here.
I thought for a second that this is slower than my home country's processing time. I have never waited this long and my eyes are all dried up waiting for updates from IRCC. And here we are, still waiting.
For now my verdict - CPC Sydney worst case processing centre so far. I empathize most people who commented here.

This is the 4th time they have sent back my CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION for no reason using the slowest mail it takes 3 month for it to return its almost a year now since i started this whole application process. I have attached the payment receipt not sure why the keep attaching Your payment is either missing or insufficient. When it's clearly there and when that's not the problem they are sure to find something else that's literally there they are lucky that the location is not in Toronto.

7 months for PR card renewal.no information or updates. I had to investigate myself where they had my file, and once I find out and push for my pr card to be processed, they just started working on it on September 1. I submitted my application on March 17 2023.this office has the worst times and reviews I have ever seen.this is an important document, and they simply don't care.

Worst immigration office in the world.
PR renewal took 10 months to receive the card. Citizenship application is still pending and waiting. We pay these people from our taxes to serve better, not to delay our request. They deserved zero️

2021 citizenship applicant. Citizenship test passed July 2022 and still waiting for the final decision. This office is slow in processing applications.

Please I know you guys are busy but if you cannot handle large volume please transfer some of our files to other locations. EE application with no updates at all for months, seems like for whatever reasons you guys decided to leave a file sitting there and not touching it again. Please process files that are way over the average processing time first.

The communication and efficiency of this office is awful! Still waiting on a certificate that was issued in August of 2022 via mail! They say they sent it. All I can say is we were literally ripped off because we still don't have it in our hands! Causing lots of issues with my son who just wants to get up there and work.

I submitted my PR application and i got my AOR from Sydney CIO in just 24 days (which includes strike days). So, they took just 13 days. Thats great! Thank you officers!

Waited 7 weeks for PR card renewal- got sent back saying we used old forms. The only difference in new form was asking for social insurance number.i mean really. Could someone do a little strategic work and look it up on computer.im sure that info is easily attainable from their end. Its now been 8 weeks and still no card… come on people… what kind of operation r u running here! Serve the people more efficiently PLEASE!

My PR Card renewal is now delayed over 3 monthes, I'm locked out from travel plans, I was able to find local MP offic to attempt to contact them, but they don't even know if they had my letter or not

Une etoile pour votre incompetence au niveau de la protection des informations personnelles. J'ai envoyé une demande et vous m'avez confirmé la réception de mon dossier par courriel. Ce que je ne comprends pas est comment tous les messages suivants avec l'état de ma demande et les actions requises ont été envoyés à une personne tierce. Cette personne vous a même contacté pour vous aviser mais sans succès et il a fini par me contacter via les réseaux sociaux pour me faire part de la situation. Je vous ai appelé mais toujours pas de reponses. C'est scandaleux!

We are waiting since 2022 our final decision for rp please free our ppr. The new 2023 applications are processed and rp delivred but ours are forgeted

Extremely slow citizenship processing. People who did test last summer still waiting for LPP/background check/ Oath, while other offices process it in less than 2-3 months. IRCC needs to conduct internal review.

I just start to deal with that office, I’m excited to finish my file processing soon. Let us see
