Great spot for a delicious and authentic Thai meal.

The restaurant's Pad Thai is a delightful mix of stir-fried rice noodles, vegetables, peanuts, and beef. The Pad Thai is served in generous portions, perfect for both lunch or dinner.

Wonton soup was surprisingly relexing, strongly recommend as well.

Fantastic lunch specials. Really an absolute gem of a spot. Have done multiple lunches here and everyone left full and happy

Good Thai Food with pleasant ambience. The drinks were bit below average but no complaints from the food. Pad thai was the standout followed by the Red curry and Cashew Chicken. The quantity is quite good and can be shared by two people (with rice or sides)

Wow, probably the best Thai food I’ve ever had! (haven’t had much but this was exceptional) the flavors of my green curry chicken lunch special and coconut soup were out of this world. The Thai iced coffee was strong and sweet and my friends Thai iced tea was such a sweet and unique flavor. If you are in downtown Halifax or around the other location in Dartmouth you gotta go here for some of the best Thai food in Halifax.

Needs spice. Like really needs spice. Thai food is spicy this is bland. Red curry absolutely no spice

The best Thai food we have ever had! The food was so fresh and flavourful and everything was served nice and hot! We were on a trip and stopped in here after reading some reviews and it was amazing. We were just visiting the area but if we are ever near by again we will definitely be making a stop. We talk about how good the food was here often it was one of the highlights of our trip that week!

"Thai" noodle soup was very bland, no Chilli sauce on the table and I couldn't even get some because only 1 waitress working

Tasty food and very affordable. Their tofu is delicious and the mango salad is one of the best I've ever tasted!

Great food! Haven't had Kao Pad Sapparod (Thai Pineapple Fried Rice) in years and finally found a place that has it!:) Just as good as I remember. Lots of food! Only complaint would be that the ToGo order didn't have any cutlery or utensils, which I didn't notice until I got back to the hotel. I didn't specifically ask for them but that's cause I figured it would be automatically included.

Good place. The service is a bit slow and the interior is not very interesting, but this is offset by the good food and friendly staff.

Starters are good.soup needs to improve. Main course items had sweetish flavour which we didn't expect.

Cha Baa Thai Restaurant is an authentic Thai restaurant located just of spring graden road. This was my first time trying authentic Thai food and I was very impressed. I had the bbq Duck combo plate which comes with rice and a spring roll. The spring roll was light and fresh with a slightly spicy sauce for dipping. The rice is plain and sticky, not very good on it's own, but improved with broth from the main dish. The bbq duck was the star of the meal. It was my first time trying duck, but it was soft, melt in your mouth delicious. The broth complemented the dish perfectly, very well spiced with hints of sweet and spicy. I am excited to try more mains from this restaurant in the future.

Ps: sorry the spring roll was hiding behind the bowl, but I was too excited to notice.

Amazing food, but the reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because ordering for pick up can be such a hassle sometimes. Called tonight and was asked to put on hold for a moment, stayed on hold for 10 mins before I decided to hang up and try again, and every time I called after that (42 attempts) it said call busy so I eventually gave up. Felt like I was calling casino taxi at 1AM on a Saturday. It’s like that almost every time I try and order over the phone.

Great casual place to down, and ridiculously low priced for the quality and quantity of food that you receive.

I ordered pad see ew for take out and when I got home I realized that they made my dish with the wrong noodles. Instead of big thick noodles that the dish is suppose to have it came with thin noodles. Overall the taste was fine but i've had better and expensive for what you get

I can confidently say this was the best Thai food I've tried in Halifax. Superb taste, generous portions and fair price.

Best Thai restaurant in Halifax. The workers are kind, foods are good for both quantities and qualities. Prices are pretty reasonable. Great customer services. If you are looking for a Thai restaurant in downtown, this is the place for you to go.
