I always get great service from Chad Kennedys. Myself and my family are both customers. My father ran his own car repair business so he knows good service.

Josh, Jason & the team gave us great advice as always, this time on tires & undercoating for our new car! The only downside to finally having a reliable car - less visits to Chad Kennedy’s Autopro! They’re the best, always.

I have been having my car serviced at Chad Kennedy's Autopro for the past couple of years, and I always find the quality of both the work and the service excellent. I recently had my car in for my winter tune-up and tire change, and was safely back on the road just a few short hours after bringing my car into the shop. They also provide taxi chits to make getting home after drop off and back for pick up easy and cost-effective. The work I have had done at Chad's-from tune-ups to transmissions, has been reliable and dependable. CKAP really care about providing good quality service to you and your car. Staff are also very professional and equally pleasant and welcoming. Whether I am speaking with the lovely front counter reception staff, one of the mechanics or Chad himself, the staff at CKAP are knowledgable, respectful, polite and personable. I am so pleased, and very satisfied, to know there is such a welcoming high quality auto shop where I can take my car to be serviced.

Everytime I need Kennedy's Autopro my experience is exceptional. From the moment I book an appointment until I'm back in my vehicle my every need is catered to. Exceptional Service and quality work everytime!

Unfortunately I have to change my review and recommendations for this shop. About 9000 kms driving after work done on my car buy Chad's Mechanic I got noises from serpentine belt tensioner. That's, because on my request to replace Water pump kit, including belt and tensioner I got only wayer pump replaced (no belt or tensioner. Another thing done wrong is that on my request to replace timing belt kit, normally including two idlers (all written in email), I got only timing belt replaced which won't last long because of old idlers.paid about $ 1200 for nothing. Good Mechanic should know that " kit" means more than one item and installing all needed would come with warranty for next 160000 km.went back to shop month ago and asked about warranty but sims like receptionist don't understand my English and he was surprised about " warranty " questions.definitely I do not recommend this shop for any work.almost forgot: Cabin AC filter (last year I replaced it in 1 minute) they charged me $ 42 for Labour work!

Very straightforward, drop the f150 off, they quoted me a price and were able to deliver the truck back to me next day with all repairs completed, very quick and convenient service.

My old vehicle turned out to have a blown transmission, as expected. They took care of junking it, and all I had to do was come pick up the cash. Outstanding service.

Staff went above and beyond with their customer service and support. Can't say enough good about everyone involved.

I had an appointment for Tuesday, I was told I could bring the car in early on Friday and they would see if they could get it looked at sooner. I originally booked the appointment thinking there was an issue with my coolant system. However, I discovered my cooling fan actually was not turning on. I sent an email letting them know the change of concern and when I dropped the car off, I again let them know the concern (the fan). Friday afternoon I received a call telling me nothing is wrong with the car. I asked if they checked the cooling fan and he told me no he didn’t but would at a later time. I email Tuesday for an update (my original appointment time) and I received a call telling me the person taking care of my car wasn’t actually in that day but the other person would take a look at it. I, once again stated my concern and he said it would be looked into. I received another call a bit later telling me the car was taken on a test drive and nothing was wrong. I asked if the cooling fan was checked. It was not and I was told if I left it an additional day they would look into it then. I ended up finding elsewhere to take my car as I felt I wasn’t being heard here and picked it up the following morning instead.

The staff were nice. They kept reminding me of my warranty and that if I could get into a dealer it would be best. However the fact that no one looked into my concern is incredibly frustrating. They gave me 50% off but I still had to pay for them to look at everything except the only thing I wanted them to look at.

UPDATE: In response to your reply - how did you know it worked fine if I was told on both driving tests no one checked it at all? Also, I took it elsewhere this morning and received a call back a few hours later letting me know they found why the fan was in fact - not working - and were able to fix it and have it ready for pickup before 5PM.:)

Had some initial challenges but the shop was able to sort things out. Certainly supports the other reviews they are customer focused.

I came here to get my AC looked at today in my Subaru and the process could not have been better. The service advisors are absolutely lovely, the techs are wonderful, and they give excellent customer service. I am seriously considering breaking up with my dealership and going here full time. We couldn't get the part the day of (the only one they could find was at the dealer and was on backorder, despite my service advisor searching far and wide on my behalf) so they booked me in for a future service. Great job, guys and gals. I'll be back for sure. These guys are awesome!

Professional, but also friendly. Keeps me informed as work progresses. Tries to accommodate my time constraints.

I left my car for oil change around March 2021, got a call from mechanic after 2 hours that all 4 brake pads & rotors are in very bad shape and needs to be changed asap. Luckily I didn't have $800 extra that day.

I took my car to 2 different places same week and both said that brakes are fine. After 20 months of your inspection I got front brake pads/rotors changed this winter and other 2 are still working fine, It's been 2 years since your guy inspected my car.

Never visited this shop after that & not recommending.

I found my car people! Their service just keeps getting better! I found Chad Kennedy's AutoPro last summer, listed as top 3 auto shops by Coast magazine. First, Josh helped me find and order new all-season tires that were best for all of this East coast wet weather. When they installed new brakes this fall, they noted that I could benefit from some rust protection underbelly and made a few suggestions on where to go. Helpful. Most recently, when my car sadly had a major transmission/clutch issue (towed to a Ford dealership), Chad took time to find me a used transmission! So much for the dealership telling me that I could only get a brand new one. Chad and team saved me thousands of $$ AND are likely giving my car another two+ years on the road. I am only using Chad Kennedy Autopro from now on! Shout out to Bobbi (front desk) for being helpful, friendly and looking for ways to help out customers!

Always great service with honest quotes and work. Always confident that when they say something needs to be replaced or is broken, it needs to be replaced or fixed. Have always recommended this place. It was recommended to me!

Calliper change. They had no availability but squeezed me in anyway. Cost a lot but will save me in the long run. Josh (customer service) is AMAZING and Chris (mechanic) is a wizard. 10/10 recommend. Highfield location.

Well, all I can say is I found my "Go To" place for auto service! First of all all the positive reviews made me take notice. I am very particular about my car. I am someone who hopes for great service and to find Chad Kennedy's was the best choice.
First of all Bobbi is great. Customer focused and takes the time to answer all my questions. Came in for my appointment for 8: 00AM and they started on my car at 8: 10 and were done in 2 hours, not only that the final bill was lower than the quote? Really? That was awesome! My summer tires were all bagged in plastic, there was no grease or dirt on my mats, they even put tire dressing on my winter tires:) The electronic information sent to my phone with the progress and photos of the service performed is out of this world cool and informative. Alex was my tech. Great guy and even took the time to talk to me in the rain about my car and answered a few of my questions. So if you want A+ service, knowledgeable staff, and an overall amazing experience getting your car done and done right, Chad Kennedy, Bobbi and the team, this is the place. Highly recommend. My experience at Chad Kennedy auto repair was a positive and reliable service where I don’t have to second guess if the maintenance was done correctly. If you have had repairs done there you would know what I’m speaking of, and if you haven’t been there try it you’re sure to return as a satisfying customer.

Chad Kennedy Auto is simply one of the best auto service centres in Nova Scotia. They know their stuff, they do their stuff and they treat you right. In this time of uncertainty and not knowing where to spend your money, it’s good to know that a company like Kennedy Auto is there. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. Oh yes…. And they are nice people to talk to as well!

Hi, usually i never write reviews. But i think for these guys i have to write one.
I have a dodge charger 2010 3.5l RWD with 99k km, which is having a fuel issue, and i went to 2 other automobile shops including dealership. Issues not being fixed and, they have no clue why it’s happening.
Then i tried these guys, they have took there time to explain everything about it, and why its happening. Still the problem is not fixed, but they showed me a path to fix the problem. Awesome guys, will come back to you for all my future repairs (Don’t want to come back for that LOL)

We made an appointment online which was really easy. However, it was scheduled as a drop off which wouldn't work for it that day. The lovely woman (sorry, forgot name) at the front desk was able to get us in first thing and that was really was great! They worked on my Mini Cooper. Their inspection and recommended maintenance and repairs was spot on with issues I already knew about. That showed me they are honest and through. Their price was really good also. I would definitely use them again and I recommend them.

Chad Kennedy’s auto shop is, without question, the best garage I have ever been to. The service was phenomenal. They changed the hybrid battery on my Prius at an excellent price, during peak season, and, gave me a service car until they were finished the job. Many other garages refused to help me, but Chad’s shop had the job done quickly and professionally. I give them my highest recommendation.

Went to buy winter tires + new brakes as mine were ancient and my all seasons were practically balding. The quotes provided were very competitive, the prices for the parts were a little bit cheaper than what I could find elsewhere for the same tires and brakes. Good work, very professional staff.

Yet again Chad and his team were able to take great care of my vehicle on short notice and keep the costs down. They discussed my options, what needed to be done and what can wait for my next visit. Thank you for always keeping our car safe for our family.

Went here for my winter tires this year, and they were super quick to respond to my initial request and answered all of my questions. Plus they were super helpful went I arrive. Also they had great rapport with clients that came in while I was waiting for my car to get serviced. I'll be sure to go back for future car needs.

They're the only reason my old Jeep is still kicking! Always honest and helpful with the repair priorities, will let you know if something needs to be done ASAP or if it can wait a bit. Tried out this place for the first time this week for a safety inspection. There were a few repairs needed, I repaired a couple things myself and they handled the major repair. I liked the text notifications they sent out to keep me informed, and the online inspection report they provided. I’ll return here again.

I typically take my vw jetta there for MVIs and am always confident I will receive a fair service. They only recommend something when it is truly due for service and always try to provide the best price they can.

They are equipped for simple services as well as major services. I had to replace my transmission at one point and the team here shopped to get me the best price on a replacement and performed a quality swap with no noticeable issues now 2 years later.

Start up helped on our vacation from out of province. Was honest reasonable and wished more garage's in our province were like this one. Highly recommend!

Truck would not start, called CAA and they told me the closest shop was Chad Kennedy's Autopro. I said sure. I called the shop and they told me they would look at it. Called me around 4: 30 telling me that the shop could not look at it until morning. Called early next morning, stating it starter had to be replaced and the part was on the way. Was done by lunch that day. Great and prompt service.

I am always impressed with the pleasant reception by all service staff. I had my winter tires switched over to my all season tires. I also required a safety inspection performed. This work was completed in a timely manner and at a very reasonable cost. The mechanical technician observed my all seasons are worn and I should consider replacing them soon. I appreciated the advice and information the service counter personnel provided regarding my tire options including mfg info, prices and warranty. Plenty of information to assist me make an informed decision. I'll be back to purchase tires for sure. Thanks guys/gal.

Brought my daughter's Honda Civic in for an oil change and overall service as the car is new to her. I loved the detailed breakdown of what needed to be done and what should be done in the not too distant future. I received photos of the car with the explanation. Made it easy for me to explain to my daughter exactly what was happening.
This is an exceptional shop with the friendliest staff. I highly recommend!
