Stayed with a sports team. Rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast was really good and had multiple options. Space available for team to meet as a group. Staff very friendly and helpful

Clean and daily room service to freshen towels and bed. Front desk folks are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is the highlight, the waitstaff serve you from the buffet and offer sausage, eggs, bacon, omlettes, fruits, bagels and toast. There is coffee 24 hours and tea in the morning. I've been to many hotels and this one really stood out as far as breakfast and customer service!
As some previous customers mentioned, it is noisy. Adjoining rooms allow you to hear the neighbors next to you fairly clearly as they party and laugh and sing until 12am. The night clerk helped to ask the folks to keep it down two nights in a row and even offered to help us with another room. This one was accessible by request so we declined as there were no others available. But it was very kind of the staff to do what they could.
There is a very loud door on the first floor. Not sure which one it is, but it sounds like a dying dog every time its opened. And during the night it is open frequently. So if you hear it. It is not a banshee, just a hinge needing a bit of oil.
Over all its not a bad place and we may stay here again in the near future.

Centrally located to everything and not directly in the city. The staff is friendly, the beds are so comfortable and breakfast is included. Tim’s is right next door! Our favourite place to stay.

Pretty good hotel, right off the highway and surrounded by strip malls and small power centers, so it's good for shopping and dining. Breakfast is included and is better than most places, bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles, etc. I've stayed here twice overall and am looking forward to the third. Tim hortons is 30 seconds away by foot and open 24/7

What over for a wedding and spent 4 nights all we needed clean rooms and and nice breakfast to start the day

I was so hopeful! This was our first visit to this location and everything seemed perfect until I was bitten by something while I was sleeping. 9 bites that were itchy, sore and blistered. When I reported it they only said "sorry about that" we will clean when you leave. Sad to have a vacation ruined by bug bites. I paid over $600 for misery.

We visited NS from Ontario and glad we chose this hotel. From excellent service, comfortable accommodations, great breakfast, to convenient location, it made it the perfect east coast experience. We will be returning to this hotel in the future.

Our family with young kids recently stayed at the Chateau Fredericton and decided to stay at the Bedford location thinking the service and quality would be the same.
Not to par on some aspects.
Room was clean, modern and beds felt luxurious and so comfortable.
Their saving grace is the included buffet breakfast. Seems to be investment here but not in other areas but perhaps that is to come.
The breakfast area doesn't feel crowded as it is spread over 2 rooms. One next to the lobby and the other in a separate room. Attendants serve the eggs (omlette at the time), bacon, hashbrowns and sausages. The staff member there had a joyful demeanor and very courteous. Just behind, one could help themselves to coffee, tea and assorted breads and muffins. They did have wrapped fruit filled cookies which was nice for the kids to eat in the room. One differentiating feature is that they offered hot sauce from a bottle and salsa sauce!
In the separate dining room there is an automatic pancake machine that we all watched in amazement. Didn't even have to pour the batter and cause a mess. Just had to press a button. If only all the breakfast could be served this way! Also cereals, juices (they were the only hotel we have been that had lemonade on tap) and yogurts.
Upon check in I asked for a room close to a door on the main floor where I could drive my car closeby to unload our luggage and place on a wheeled cart to bring in. We were given the room farthest away from the hallway to the pool. It has 2 sets of doors without automatic opening and also a step so we had to bring in each piece by piece which was a bother. Meanwhile I found out they could have place me in a room (if available) at the pool end as it at least had a ramp. Not sure if it had an automatic opening door however.
As we were on a roadtrip with children I booked this hotel as it had laundry facilities. They are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors on the pool end and take $2 per load. I first washed a load on the 2nd floor. I went to dry it and the machine ate my $2. I went back to the front desk who gave me a refund thankfully. I brought the wet clothes up to the 3rd floor dryer and it had a sign 'OUT OF ORDER'. I was left with wet clothes and had to take them to a laundromat in the next city the next morning. Things like this can anger a parent when they are only trying to keep on schedule and need conveniences.
In order to use the pool, gym or arcade, one must ask for a separate card from your room key card at the front desk.
Didn't go to the arcade on the 3rd floor as I only found out about as we were leaving and I was afraid it was going to eat our coins again otherwise my kids would have loved it. About 5 or 6 machines to play.
In the mornings, all the cleaning and front desk staff seem to be frazzled, rushed, overworked perhaps and unfriendly or flat. As if everything was a bother to ask, no greetings or smiles and didn't know what was going on with how things worked within the hotel.
Our room was on the end next to the Tim Hortons so you could just walk out, up the stairs and you're there.

Had a great stay here with our kiddo! The room was clean and cozy, breakfast was phenomenal, and the staff are all very welcoming and smiley! We will definitely be back.:)

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable room, great staff, terrific breakfast. I rented a car this trip, so it was an easy decision to stay outside of Halifax. Tremendous value vs.staying elsewhere. I'll stay here again for sure, or at the other Chateau properties.

This place needs some investment and updating to bring it in line with the Moncton location, the rooms haven't been updated in a while and it's worn looking but service and location are great.

Great place to rest your head and for the kids to play in the pool. Always a must for our hockey trips, and the hot breakfast is a plus.

This Chateau is perfect for family’s but if you’ve booked a room for work be prepared to have limited sleep and rest. Hallways are used for fun and games and no consideration is given to the men and women that work nights. Won’t be booking here again.

Recently stayed at the Chateau Bedford and found the location to be excellent for our needs. Reception was pleasant and quite helpful. Breakfast was more than expected for the free price. Room comfortable and clean. Allowed a late checkout as was helpful in our situation. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.
