Chebucto Inn

I was on a roadtrip from California, across the States, and into Canada. Unfortunately, I had a mechanical issue in Nova Scotia. Fortunately, I was able to get a room at Chebucto which was close to the Porsche dealership. The nice lady at the front desk allowed me to stay a little longer in the parking lot the next day so that I could make an ignition repair on my 911.

The location was decent. I was able to walk 5 min to a pizza place for dinner. The rooms were clean and comfortable enough. It's hard to judge because I was on a road trip for 31 days, and after driving all day, everything is comfortable.

By far the worst motel I have ever stayed. It's not a safe place at all. There are drugs addicts etc.staying here.

Rooms are very basic, didn’t look like the cleanest place. Walls are very thin. Not worth the money that is charged.

Not the greatest location, but if you want an awesome breakfast this is the place! Good wholesome food at reasonable prices with great wait staff.

A nice lady tried to pay for a room in a motel for a homeless man in a wheel chair in freezing cold weather and the chebucto motel denied him because "he might have bed bugs"! Pretty hard to have bed bugs if you live in a tent in freezing cold weather.

Onsite restaurant serves a decent, standard low cost breakfast. Been twice and both times got what was expected, a typical “diner style” offering. Bathroom was located next to the front desk in the motel, could definitely use an update. Have never stayed at the property, only eaten at the restaurant.

I go here for the Cafe, breakfast in particular, very reasonable. Very friendly, and in my opinion one of the best breakfast in the city

Had the fish for lunch, unbelievably small pieces, more like spring roll size and dry because of size. The waitress tried to make up for this by bringing an extra piece. Don't expect this in Halifax, very disappointed.

Don't accept cash which is pathetic. Especially when it was the only place with an available room. Some people in the world don't believe in plastic

Terrible service, was overcharged on my cc $150 on top of the preauth amount they put on. Won't discuss the charge. Owner is rude, yells and pretty much stalks the guests
