Cheese Curds Gourmet Burgers + Poutinerie

Burger was juicy and flavorful, you get exactly what you want on top. Fries are delicious, lots of bark and taste.

Was very mid. Poutine isn't that good either but the staff was nice. Great way to gain weight and drain your bank.

Had dinner with my wife and 3 teens. We each ordered a unique burger, hotdogs fries and 3 different poutines.
The food was hot, delicious and nicely prepared.
The staff were friendly and professional even though they became very busy (dinner rush).
The restaurant was spotless as well.
We really enjoy gourmet burgers like five guys and boom burgers but I must say Cheese Curds is the best and my new favourite.

One of the best burger restaurants around - they are known for their very creative burger and poutine options (Thai chili poutine is a must try!) and excellent mexican food! And the best part is the customization - whether you order a burrito or burger or anything else, the variety of toppings and sauces you can choose from easily beats out a place like Subway or Harvey's.

I've eaten here many times and never once have I had a bad experience - food quality is always top notch and service is fast and friendly. They are fancy fast food - and I mean that in the best way possible as you won't wait too long and the price for value has been consistently high in my experience. I also recommend ordering online via their website - extremely user friendly, offers same order customization as in-store, and they will notify you when your order is ready for pickup (along with first giving you an estimated time the order will be done) - really convenient!

They also often have a special burger of the month and participate in burger week with always-inventive creations. I'm very glad we have such a great restaurant in the neighborhood and if you've not gone - please make sure you do! Guaranteed you'll be back!

The fries were crispy, decently slathered in gravy and cheese curds were mixed throughout. We ordered the Triple Bacon Poutine which came with a nice amount of perfectly cooked bacon. This is possibly the best poutine we've ever eaten and we will definitely be back for more. We also ordered the Monster Mozzarella Crunch Burger, however the mozzarella was 1/2 the radius of the bun and 1/2 the width we were expecting from the picture. In fact we couldn't even taste the cheese and we're both really big cheese lovers. We were very displeased and the burger was nowhere near being worth the price or the title of Monster Mozzarella. We will probably only order the poutine again, but if we do give the burger another shot it will hopefully be one that actually suits its title.

Service was okay. Food was delicious. Wait time's weren't too long. Would have loved some crispy bacon on my burger instead of soft undercooked bacon but it still tasted delicious. Love the burrito's here, always tasty and fresh.

When cheese curds first opened they had the best, juiciest burgers. That is no longer the case. I was just served two pre-cooked dried out bricks warmed up and put in a bun and charged $9.5 each … if you want a burger find somewhere else. Literally anywhere would be better.

The poutine was great otherwise it would’ve been 1 star

The classic poutines are as good as ever, the fries are really good here. The fish&chips you can surprisingly now order was good for how fast we got it, but check your bag if you ordered any extra sauce and skip the fountain pop machine.

Habaneros Tacos are so tasty. I wholeheartedly recommend the soft AND hard shell together. Best of both worlds!

I would give 0 if i could.tried to order delivery and they would not take my order and directed me to an online order proess.of course, when i finally got through the process, it wouldn't allow me to order. I called the store back and they said "oops" the service just closed and refused to take my order. NOT COOL

JUST LOST A CUSTOMER!

Lady that prepared my food (ange) (large women with red hair) did not use gloves when preparing mine and four of my friends food, none of the people wear hairnets which mind not be a rule but it should be required. This was on 20/01/2020 at approximately 12: 30 at the cheese curds in Larry uteck

I ordered a large chicken burrito bowl, I got served old dried chicken pieces, I understand the place was closed for three days for the holidays but dont serve it to people and if the veggies changing colors they need to be thrown out not put on someone else's plate!

I'm always torn on these gourmet burger places. The food is always very good, but you're paying a sit down restaurant price for a "fast food" experience (that usually involves waiting 10 minutes for a burger). I personally slant towards the Habeneros side as I prefer the value of the burrito stuff. But assuming you're comfortable with the price point, the food (burritos, burgers, fries) is always great.

The staff was friendly and welcoming and the establishment itself was nice and clean. The food was amazing and the fact that they had Mello Yello (don’t have it anymore in Ottawa as far as I know) was very cool. I got the hog heaven poutine and it’s without question one of the best poutines I’ve had. My only wish is that they would open a franchise in Ontario! I’m only in Nova Scotia for a week and would love to be able to eat from this great restaurant when I’m back home

Unhealthy, but delicious. Many styles of poutine. Good burgers. Everything I've tried has been high quality for fast food. Sometimes feels like it's too expensive. One perk is that these locations are almost always paired with a Habanero's (burritos, tacos, etc.), so there are food styles for everyone in your party.

Normally I go to the Clayton park location which is where i 1st had the (Chili Thai Chicken Poutine) it was amazing. Perfect ratio gravy to T-C sauce I have gone back for the same Item many times. So i would give that item I try if you were looking for a great bite.
However with that being said I have gone to 2 different locations (Lacewood and Burnside) and they put far to much of T-c sauce. So i will be carefull to remember to mention i don't want them to overdue it on my next visit. And I will return cause it's that good.

Poutine is easily one of the best in Halifax. Their burger week burger was quite good! The only thing is that there is a lot of cheese which sits heavy in the stomach.

Pretty average. Nothing bad about it, nothing stellar though either. Slightly higher price for pretty much average food. But when you go out for food, you expect it to be ok for the price as is what happened here.

Food was tasty but made average for high price. Establishment could have been cleaner for 11: 30 in the morning wasn't even busy yet looked like yesterdays dirt and mess.
