Clifty Cove Motel

If I could give this more than 5* I would! What a great little motel right on the water. Gorgeous sunset over the water. Clean, new rooms. Very clean, very comfortable. Wish we had more than one night here. Would absolutely come back.

The view! Great room! Comfy bed. Owners very nice and friendly! Great place to stay. Oh ya and the shower water is soft!

Motel a peine quelques kms du phare Peggy's Cove, c'est le pourquoi d'un prix assez élevé pour y passer au moins une nuit. Il y n'a pas d'autre endroit aussi si prêt de Peggy's Cove. Une grande fenêtre pour la vue sur la baie si chanceux de voir la pleine Lune. La chambre et la salle de bain avec une douche est très propre. Nous n'avons pas aimé le matelas et ni les oreillers beaucoup trop mous pour nous, même avec l'air climatisé l'air de la chambre a resté tres humide. La chambre est muni d'un four micro ondes et un frigo, une cafetiere et tous le nécessaire pour la toilette personnelle, Il y a assez de serviettes et débarbouillettes. Besoin de glace.vous devez aller la chercher a l'accueil. Notre visite a cette endroit est la troisieme fois. Aucun déjeuner inclus. Nous y retournerons en espérant ne pas avoir de pluie ni brume.pas facile en Nouvelle Ecosse. 02 sept. 2023

Great location, 4 min drive to Peggy’s cove. A little on the expensive side, but views from the room are immaculate. AC worked great and bed was comfortable. Good sized room. TV is only a smart TV however, no cable - and wifi was not working when we were there.

Well maintained and clean for and older property. New bathroom and new shower. Bed was confortable. Location is really nice. I recommend it. Near Peggy's Cove

When i arrived to check in i was charged $100.00 more than what he quoted on the phone. Not impressed!

This place is gorgeous. The most beautiful vibe right on the water. All brand new rooms updated. I will never forget this place it is magical.

Excellent motel that is well maintained. If you are wanting to visit Peggy's cove light house and admire sunsets and sunrises, this is worth the money. The prices are high for the property and location which is pretty isolated. BUT if you are a lighthouse lover and like cool ocean breezes - this is well worth the money. The rooms are small but nicely appointed - all of the conveniences of a large full service hotel room. They even have wall unit a/c and heat - but the windows work just as well for cool air. You check-in with the owner (s) at their house located on the property which is quite simple. The balcony rooms are nice to have, but remember they have chairs right behind the property that give you the same view. The only honest draw back - the rooms are not sound proof and with windows open - you will hear cars coming and going late at night possibly and also possibly early in the morning. You will hear tv's from the room next door as well, but you also hear the amazing sounds of the atlantic ocean. So - again, well worth it if you plan on spending much time at the Peggy's cove lighthouse. Also - not sure if they allow pets in every room - but there was a wet dog odor in my room and luckily they had another to put me in. I think people sneak dogs in and do not tell the owners - hopefully they will police this better. And as far as food - you have about 3 restaurant choices within 5 minutes - otherwise its about a 20-25 minute drive to civilization. I highly recommend and will return.
