Had an emergency this week to get my 2 rear tires changed and they did it the same morning when nobody else would. Really saved the day since I had to be in Saint John, NB that by late afternoon. The very nice man from CAA recommended them. I felt endlessly blessed that day

Not very happy with this place been going here faithfully for over 8 years now and was just told that they can't do the back breaks on my car with my own parts but too top it of there the ones that did my front breaks get this with my own parts I see being loyal too this company means nothing all good there's more shops out there then just coast tire

Coast tire was recommended by a friend to me. I brought my 2020 nissan to have its first safety inspection and brakes done on Mach 21 2023.
Coast tire did my back brakes and changed my roters as well as pads stating the pads had " rust " on them.
Coast tire gouged me for $713 for just the back brakes alone also stating if and when my front brakes are done it will cost about the same.
Needless to say I was very upset
I would NOT recommendthem to anyone.

Nothing but positive things to say. Staff were very friendly and efficient, they were very accommodating with the schedule and got me in asap. Their prices were SO reasonable for a new tire and installation, I actually asked if they made a mistake and under charged. Highly recommend!

Staff is excellent, they cover all the bases! Taxi chit if needed, and a reminder for a follow up (tighten wheel nuts after 80 km) when required. Good service for you and your vehicle.

Since purchasing my car I've been going to Coast Tire & Auto Service for all of my automotive needs. The staff are awesome and super friendly. The prices are standard for HRM but the customer service is what puts this place above the rest. Plus their mechanics do great work!

Auto repair shops often times make me very anxious, but the staff here were fantastic. Super friendly, made me feel super comfortable.

Have had wonderful service from them. They have even accommodate after hours to help me and my poor car out. Once I just went in to get bolts loosened, a laugh with the fellow and no charge. Before opening hours.

I have to say, I'm genuinely dissatisfied with the level of service I recieved from the service representative I spoke to this morning on the phone.

I called in to compare cost on a couple of different tire options, understanding fully that my selected options were special-order performance tires that have to come from the manufacturer, that aren't typically kept in stock.

I was informed that "since I have to call the manufacturer for a price" that I should "just pick one you want and tell me so I can order them. " However, that defeats the purpose of my inquiry, as weighing the cost differences is exactly what would determine the tire option I would select. In doing my own homework I've got a rough idea of the relative cost, but what I wanted was a comparative figure, and an all-in cost, mounted and balanced.

Apparently that was just too much to ask for.

I needed front brake pads and rotors. The Mitsubishi Dealership wanted $600 for the work. I got it done here for $350! Fast, friendly and didn't try and sell me things I don't need like at the dealership.

I've bee going to Coast Tire for the last 5 or 6 years. Excellent mechanic with honest service and fair prices.

Great service! I only came in to have a tire re-greased and valve stem replacement. No bs. Made me feel at home and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. I will be buying my next set of tires and having all my service done here moving forward! Thanks again!

A year ago my husband and I bought a used Kia Soul from O’Regan’s Wholesale Direct and O’Regan’s used this place to do our motor vehicle inspection. Your mechanics apparently said everything was great and gave it a pass, however a week after purchasing the car we had a major oil leak and a slew of other problems and now our parking brake isn’t working. We were told by our auto repair shop that you guys should never have given a good inspection towards our car. It seems like this place has some shady business practices.

I brought my car in to get the exhaust fixed and they attached the wrong part because they didn't want to wait and order the correct one i guess? They didn't tell me in person but wrote on the receipt "You need to buy a new muffler to get this exhaust piece to look correct, because now the exhaust pipe and muffler are lower due to not fitting properly. " thanks coast tire.never getting my money again! I wouldn't recommended this place

Had my car inspected and summer tires put on last week - they got me in quick (within a couple of days), it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg, and they were all very pleasant to deal with. A few days after my inspection, I noticed a funny sound coming from one of my brakes so I stopped back in to make an appointment to get it looked at, and they actually were able to check it out and fix the issue right then and there! Overall good experience and reasonable prices, I’d recommend them:)

Amazing service. I woke up to a flat tire the morning I was supposed to drive across the country. I called Coast Tire at 8am, I asked if they could help, they said I could drop my car off and they could see if they could squeeze me in somewhere if they had a cancellation. I dropped my car off at 8, and was called by 9 with my car ready, they didn't charge me for a new tire, they repaired the one I had. $35 dollars and one hour later I was on the road. They were so helpful and friendly and professional, would highly recommend this company.

I would never recommend anyone to go to the coast tire on young st. They are incompetent of doing their jobs correctly and well mannered. I had my car misdiagnosed with parts that "needed" to be fixed and gave me a quote of $900. I went elsewhere and had it fixed for half the price and still was hearing noises in the front. Turns out the brakes hose is ready to fall apart into pieces and when I confronted them about this they became very ignorant and arrogant trying to turn it aroujd and blame the situation on either me or the other mechanic that well diagnosed it. They're pathetic workers that will check your car in a lazy way and tell you that any part is wrong on it just to get money from you and not care about your safety. Its sickening.

They're just so nice! They put air in my tire as I was travelling through the province:) great team it seems!

Please be aware! My father recently had this company install 2 new tires on his truck. Within a week one of the tires had came off without warning, while driving on Kearney Lake Road. Clearly the tire was not installed properly. He is just thankful it wasn't during traffic time, as he had little control of the truck and someone could have gotten seriously injured or died. When he informed Coast Tire of the incident they blamed him and offered a 30 dollar discount if he purchased another tire. He told them he was no longer interested in their business, as they showed little concern. I am writing this review, because as a mother this is very concerning to me and don't want this to happen to anyone else. It is a good thing my father has over 50 years driving experience, had it been an inexperience driver the outcome could have been different.
