Fast, on time, our dog Rudy got his annual checkup and needles by a friendly vet and even a few treats. He was quite happy and so were we as his owners.

The care that Nelson received during a urinary blockage helped him not need surgery to remove it. The staff are kind, informative, and great to work with!

Dr. Burgoyne is the best vet, been going to her for almost 9 years and she’s so knowledgeable and helpful in every way. Never had any issues with anyone at this clinic. My dogs still love going to the vet and seeing all the staff!

They saw Riley the next day even they are not our regular vet, Ws very happy with the outcome and the service.

They took my cat in right away when she ate plastic. The front staff were awesome and super professional. The vet techs explained everything once she was taken care of. Appreciate you guys a lot:)

Sadly we had to put our 17 year old cat down 2 weeks ago.it was such a difficult time but the staff here were beyond professional and caring.they took their time explaining everything well.and they were so kind and sympathetic.they sent us prints of his paws and locks of his fur and a beautiful card. My cat caught cat flu at their facility and spread it to my other cats. Now I am dealing with an epidemic of sick animals that will last their lifetimes. They also advertised endoscopic use but it was only for dogs! The staff were lovely, the vet was nice and caring but NOT A CLEAN FACILITY!

I've been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. They are always so friendly and understanding of possible financial restrictions. They really care about animals. I wouldn't trust my furbabies any where else.

One of the best animal clinics in Sackville. Staff very helpful and accommodating. All of my pets have and are looked after here. Lots of parking. Took my service dog there and they provided great service. Dr. Yoon was amazing.

Dr Runnalls is great. I bring both my chihuahua's in to Cobequid and my previous dog Rocky our yorkie. When he passed everyone was so wonderful and kind. Dr. Runnalls was and has always been patient with our many questions and provides the best care as if they were her own pets. Girls are all very nice and friendly as well. I definitely would recommend hands down!

I have a rather anxious pup but he is always treated so well by Dr. Runnells and all the staff. They remember him or seem to and they are so good to explain everything to me. I couldn't be happier and will not be taking him elsewhere.

Recently had to take our 10 week old puppy there unexpectedly. They are all great from the initial phone call to when we arrived on site. Very friendly staff. Clean environment.

My dog was recently referred to Cobequid to have a lump removed on her neck. Every single person with whom we interacted was fantastic. The staff is upfront about costs, risks, and solutions.

They offered excellent follow-up care over email and the phone. I am no expert on incisions, but considering how fast it has healed, it's obvious their team knows what they are doing in the surgery room and in the post-op care schedule. Thank you so much CAH for taking care of our pup so well!

The team at Cobequid Animal Hospital was absolutely amazing when our little Podenco Tesa became severely ill yesterday and our regular Vet was swamped. They allowed us to bring her right down to be admitted and monitored for the day. Everybody was super nice and caring and we were reassured knowing she was in such good hands. We are forever thankful.

I needed to have prompt attention for my dog. I couldn't wait for a regular appointment. Within a few hours Daisy was in an examining room and the problem was determined very quickly and a prescription was provided. All staff were very supportive and helpful. As with all Vet visits at Cobequid, you can request a nail trim, which I did when I first called. This was overlooked thus the score of 9. As for visits over the years for all of my animals I have always received high quality care for my cat, Lacey and my dog Daisy. Cobequid Animal Hospital is a well-oiled machine and I would be very hesitant to take my animals anywhere else!

The staff at Cobequid Animal Hospital have always been amazing. They helped me with a terminally I’ll dog with the utmost level of compassion. My current dog is a handful but we are always treated with acceptance and accommodation when we need to visit the vet.

I took my cat her for a dental procedure after his regular vet moved and Cobequid offered to take him instead. All the staff I interacted with were very kind and helpful and made a stressful situation much easier. I knew he was in good hands and they were kind enough to keep me updated throughout the day and addressed any questions or concerns I had. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.

Dr Yoon saw my dog and was very thorough, explained my options clearly, and she was really friendly! I've seen other vets here before in past years and always had a good experience. My dog liked Dr Yoon and trusted her immediately. I would definitely recommend.

Our initial assessment for Victor's dental work was at another clinic but, do to movement of peoples schedules, and work, the recommendation was made, by their mutual respect for one another's practices, that Cobequid Animal Hospital perform the work. They called us after we agreed to the recommendation made by our own Veterinarian and scheduled the cleaning and polishing. Communications were excellent and promises made were kept. I do not trust easily, they earned mine. When we arrived we were offered exactly what was promised when we scheduled months before. I was beside Victor while he went to sleep and next to him again when he woke up. We stayed with him while he recovered and once he was lucid and stable on his feet we were able to leave or continue to wait as long as we pleased. His teeth look great and with them clean and free from any injury he will likely live with us a little longer and be free from pain later in life. Victor is an 8 year old Border Collie. If you are considering this work for your pet you can get it done here, with peace of mind and be "at ease".

It was a good experience here, in particular along with dear Dr. Yoo (not sure spelling is correct or not). My fluffy daughter feel safe and confident here. However the price is a little high and I gave 4 star because of this reason

From the moment we entered, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The clinic is very clean and staff are super friendly. Very impressed with all the advice we received from our veterinarian, she was so calming to our new pup. Staff here are very knowledgeable and caring for your pets. They are also very accommodating when helping you choose your appointment times.

Absolutely amazing clinic with the best staff. My cat lacerated 2 tendons in his leg after knocking a glass out of the cupboard and they got him right in for surgery. Massive thank you to Dr. Collard and the rest of the staff at Cobequid for all their help!

I will never step foot in this place again. For anything. Front desk staff clearly not trained on basic product information and sent me home with wrong items not once but 3 times. Actually it could be 4 times. I’ve lost count of how much bad info I’ve been given. That says a lot. So this is clearly a training issue. And they clearly aren’t addressing it. Here’s a tip— I don’t work there so I don’t know the things that you are supposed to know! I rely on proper conveying of information so that nobody’s time is wasted. Yours or mine. Especially when an animal is in the middle of all this too. Such unnecessary stress. So know the job better. No joke. Scheduling appointments is a basic front line duty too and info should always be relayed back to the client as well and don’t assume the client knows your lingo about what ‘dropping an animal off’ means for a specific time. Might have helped if she had of used that actual term with me and maybe I would have managed to decode that statement on my own and then doubled checked. But When I’m told to bring him in for a certain time. To anyone in life. That means you have secured an appointment at that time. But essentially what it really means is there is no actual appt time rather u will be leaving your animal here all day and he will be seen at some point’. Rule number one in customer service. Get it right. Reconfirm. Be clear. You are messing with peoples lives here. Their own days responsibilities- like come on!
Know your products and provide all options to clients as these are basic duties as well. Not to mention they also lie when questioned on their misinformation. As somehow it’s my misunderstanding? ! And I got it all wrong. Yah no. Don’t think so. Good back peddling attempt though. But I had a ‘tone’ that wasn’t acceptable when I’m saying Enough Already. All this is simply a giant red flag at this point so I’m am out.
So. Bottom line folks. I Don’t recommend this place despite positive reviews by others. Keep looking. You will only end up super frustrated and here writing a review. Not worth it

The team at Cobequid are always smiling, loving on my dogs (big and small, old and young) and always suggest reasonable care plans. They have appointments available in the near future should something pop up that an unexpected visit is needed. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now!

Best vet I’ve ever been to. We saw Dr. Collard, who met us in the parking lot to watch the gait of our dog as he tried to walk, he was helpful and thorough in the appointment, walked us back out to observe, and even came over to my vehicle to quickly check on my other dog to determine if an appointment was needed, which it was.

On surgery day my boy was well looked after, the staff were very supportive and informative. Dr. Collars even called me to inform me of an unexpected finding and ask if they should deal with it then since my boy was already under.

The instructions were thorough, clear, and printed for me and the medication bag we received had my boy’s name nicely handwritten on it. Great vet. Best I’ve seen.

Dr. Collard is great and understands my cat breed very well. The staff are wonderful at dealing with our large cats.

Very sad and disappointed with the customer service and services we received from here. March 12 2022 we had a very hard decision to make our kitty of 21years was getting old and frail so we made the decision to euthanize her. We were told a couple.days and your kitty will be back home with you. We'll after making phone calls to them every day my daughter research the coroner that was preforming it and spoke directly to him he was away for a bit however the vet could have told us that or contacted him. To date March 23 2022 we still do not have our kitty home spoke to manager today and she did not seem concerned we told her our other 2 dogs going there will not return to this vet and again did not seem concerned please be careful where you take your babies

Dr. Moncayo is a wonderful vet! He is so kind and patient with our dog and very knowledgeable about holistic animal health. We’ve been taking our pet to him for years!

Brought my dog here from NL for an orthopaedic surgery. From the first phone call to bringing my boy home the staff and service has been excellent. Very informative every step of the way. Affordable, professional and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Cobequid Animal Hospital has been amazing to both my dog and cat as well as my parents' dogs! We've been going to them for over a decade and I'm truly grateful for their dedication. Always welcomed with a smile and a treat for the pet, it's as low-stress as a vet visit can get!

Very impressed, I like the doctor she was really nice to me and my doggie. My dog is very old and normally scared whenever he goes to the Vet, but he didn’t seem to mind this time. The doctor was very kind and gentle with him, I guess he could sense that. Highly recommend them to anyone.

Dr Collard and his team of professionals ate awesome. I drive approx. 100 kms for my dogs to get the best possible care.

In April of 2021, I had to bring in my 20+ year cat, who was dying. And I will say they were absolutely wonderful. And that's why I am not giving them just a single star. Now it's December 2021, and my second cat who's 17 years old, and who can barely breathe. I wanted her to pass with the same treatment my other cat got.
So, I called them and was greeted by a unsympathetic and indifferent woman on the phone. Who informed me that not only did the price go up $40.00. That they were also going to charge me 95.00 first for a "quality of life assessment". But when I mentioned that I wasn't charged that for my first cat. She very bluntly told me it was at the discreation of the vet at the time.
It's bad enough that you have to decide to put down something you love, but to be told that it will now cost me double, and in such an uncaring demeanor.
Found another clinic, who will do the same for my 17 year old girl, for the same cost as I paid in April.

Dr. Runnals is one of the only vets I have felt that I could fully trust my dogs with. My dogs are apprehensive with strangers but from day one have had no issues with allowing her to get on the floor and poke & prod as needed. She has always gone over and above with her care for animals and the humans that love them.
Last summer when my dog was severely ill and needed to stay with the cobequid crew for 3 days the staff was amazing. My dog Arlo fell in love with Skylar. The care that she gave him was beyond her job description. She would visit him even when she wasn't scheduled to work!

We work with Dr. Runnalls for rehab with one of our dogs; she is fantastic! The staff are always polite when booking appointments, and we felt confident even when having to have our dog go in without us that she was in good hands.

All the staff at Cobequid Animal Hospital are amazing. They have been extremely good to my Hank, who always seems to have something wrong with him. They all love Hank and it shows. All the staff is very caring, kind, and patient with everyone.

Called twice looking for products, the staff were super friendly and helped me find everything I needed. The prices were pretty fair as well.

Excellent times 10.started 6 years ago when we fostered Smokey.have 5 other cats in the care of Drs. Runnalls, Burgoyne and Collard.always helpful, answer all our questions, kind and compasaionate.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. MacMillan yesterday for a wellness check for my two kittens. She was excellent! Very knowledgeable, personable and thorough.

The place is clean, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and my baby girl had a good experience. My cat layed on the chair and the vet gave her, her shots in the chair.

I called about my fur baby not feeling well, they saw her right away. I was very nervous as she has never been sick in 9 years. Everyone I dealt with was amazing especially Rebecca! She went above and beyond to show me how to give pills to my kitty and to make sure I felt comfortable with everything else. Thank you so much for turning a stressful situation into a comforting one.

My ferret had to have his leg amputated and thankfully they had a surgeon Dr George Collard who was able to perform the surgery. It’s day 2 after Sammys surgery and he’s doing awesome. He’s such a good boy

We recent switched our Vet to Cobequid, as we live in the area and thus far they have been excellent. They helped out our fuzzy pal with his issues and he's well on his way to a full recovery. Highly recommended.

Always friendly. Expensive compared to other veterinarian care providers but their staff is wonderful. Personally, we don't use them as our sole vet provider since they changed hands but we still purchase flea & tick medications through them.

We brought our bunny here for about 2 years. He was having health problems and when we brought him in they did an xray and told us the only option was putting him to sleep. We weren't given any other options to do surgeries, antibiotics, anything. We took him to a vet recommended by a friend and she said there was absolutely no reason why he would have to be put down. Bunny groups on Facebook said similar things and that we should get a second opinion. I'm so glad we did. I'm disgusted by the lack of empathy and disposability they saw in my bunny. He is still young. We had only ever gone there to get his nails trimmed previously this was our first experience with actual vet care.

Amazing place to bring your animals! They're so kind, knowledgeable and even follow up with you to see how your furbaby is doing after the appointment!

We were in need of a doctor for our Rabbit and after calling place after place nobody could fit us in for an emergency appointment. Thankfully their doctor was kind enough to squeeze us in between his surgeries. All staff we dealt with were very friendly and reassuring.

I took my cat here for the first time today because of the high reviews and super convenient location. I got in within two days for a checkup, and Dr Yazer was fantastic! Due to covid restrictions I had to wait in my car but the Dr called me throughout the checkup to let me know how Pickles was doing. The entire staff was super pleasant and bonded really well with my cat which was awesome. Dr. Yazer gave my cat his annual shots and monthly deworm/flea prevention as well as advise me of everything he was doing beforehand. Prices were very reasonable and I was super impressed with the service. This was the first time I’ve left a vet feeling confident that my cat is getting the best care, we’ll definitely be back!

So friendly, professional, yet personal. They want to get to know you and your pets. Very knowledgeable and willing to help, even if it's just to identify a tick species! They are wonderful with your pets and make them feel at ease.

They took such good care of my dog until we lost him last year. Amazing staff, and Dr. Angie Runnalls in particular is a wonderful Vet and human. Thank you to the entire staff for taking care of our furry family member for so many years.

They saved the life of my bernese mountain dog.

She is only a little over a year with a compromised immunity and she contracted salmonella poisoning (probably from food) and was incredibly sick.

Without the quick actions taken by the Doctors and staff (and their ability to work as a team) she would have died.

I will never be able to thank them enough.

Wonderful staff. When my dog was sick they took many worried and frantic phone calls for me. Always with patience and compassion. I live a ways away but it's well worth the drive. My little dog is very nervous of the vet and they always do their best to make her comfortable. When my dog went in to get fixed they never complained when I called constantly and let me know right away when she made it out okay. Can't recommend more.

This vet is the best they saved my dogs leg we were home visiting family in Cape breton when she broke her leg the vet in Sydney did not set the leg right in the cast and her leg would not heal cant remember the name of the doc but he took really good care of my dog thank you guys very much

We were so uncertain moving to Nova Scotia that we would find a vet we liked as much as the one we left in Ontario. Dr Collard is not only very knowledgeable, but he is patient, kind, and very understanding of different dogs and their needs. He is always willing to share information and offer different avenues of advice. So glad we found him!

Pleasant receptionists - very conveniant location right off the highway. They have a good variety of pet foods. Kindly referred neighboring animal hospital when an appointment was confused with the Sackville animal hospital. Clearly, great customer service and care for animals are priority here. Careful turning onto Cobequid rd from Sackville drive - the entrance is on your immediate right and can be easily missed.

Ellie gets so excited when we pull in for an appointment, and that means everything to me. Ellie's doctor is friendly, caring and considerate (esp financially) when suggesting procedures needing attention. We moved am hour away but we still come here. Oh yes and Ellie says, thanks for the treats

The staff were very friendly and they were able to see my dog right away. My only gripe is that the doctor recommended one item and when I went to go pay, suddenly there's two items. Other then that, their recommendations worked perfectly. Very happy.

I've had six vets in the past year as each left their clinic but. THIS is the best veterinary clinic I've been to so far. Dr Leila McIntyre is just so excellent: patient, VERY thorough, great listener, really good with the animals, great at explaining to us the issues and our options, etc. She understands our constraints so did not just push some expensive tests or procedures.

I had a chance to speak with the other pet owners there while I was waiting and everyone was extremely happy with their vets. On top of that, ALL the staff members here are consistently patient, caring and kind. The whole clinic is just really great for animals and for owners who are a little stressed over their pets. They are also very organized and followed up very promptly, and was very patient and helpful on the phone during follow ups. I am so glad I found this place and I really recommend it to anyone looking for a great vet.
