Comfort Hotel Bayer's Lake

I can't speak for the rooms; but I booked a number of events at this hotel and have been satisfied with the space and the service every time. Great spot.

Best place to stay overnight, very nice. Awesome breakfast, beautiful building. Free parking. This hotel not pet friendly so it doesnt stink like other pet friendly hotels.lots of stores close by hotel.

Would come back in a minute and the owner came around and talked with guests at the breakfast buffet which is excellent.

The young woman at the front desk actually moved her car to give me a parking spot when I mentioned the lot looked full. She was super nice too! Don't let her go:)

I was the Justice of the Peace at a wedding held here and was very impressed. The ballroom used was the perfect spot for a reception, beautifully decorated by the event planner and her team. It had a large dance floor, lots of room for tables, a full bar and bathrooms immediately off the ballroom (no need to go out into the hall). Definitively worth checking out if you are searching for a wedding reception venue.

We like the breakfast, room and sheets were clean, when we got there reception was well prepared with our reservation, easy check out. Nice pool

First 2 nights were good but our stay was ruined by one night. Friday night horrible. No sleep. Kids from a tournament of some kind were loud in the hallways for several hours past 11pm. From desk phone was busy every time we called to complain. Told reception on exit but they didn't seem to care too much.

For touring the United States, making multiple stops and traveling overseas multiple times. I've never seen such exceptional service as here. The manager, Nimfa, is a super generous woman with her time and offers unparalleled service. Her entire team is friendly, generous and attentive. They know how to solve problems. I never eat a breakfast as good as here, it is included in the price of the room. The swimming pool is under reservation. I love this place and I will stop there whenever I am in the area.
The only problem that I observed is the lack of parking in evening but also of space to circulate in the parking lot. This is the only negative point that I have observed.
The rest is perfect!

Room was great but the accounting sicks head office? They keep puting charges in pending on my cc annoyed.

The girl at the front desk Gizel went out of her way to help us I called the hotel today she answer was so helpful and friendly to make a reservation for us… when we got at the hotel she had a friendly smile very cheerful n very very pleasant I very strongly to promote her to a manger postion that the reason why we r staying her hotel very clean and hoping the breakfast will be as good

Loved this place! Great staff, clean room and hotel even had a personalized card to meet me with chocolates and water in my room for being a choice member

Our stay was wonderful! The room was clean and very nice, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were great. Especially Jessica, she was very personable and made us laugh more than once. We will definitely be back.

Maybe change up the breakfast every now then but still it's included which not so many have that these days

Great place to stay if you are looking for a quality hostel, currently there is construction around the area but the hotel remains open.

Our room was right above the construction site next door, next door to the stairwell with the door banging shut all night and across from the staff lounge and laundry shoot. Worst 3 night stay in a hotel ever.

As soon as you walk in you feel the welcoming staff. Breakfast was amazing specially the host welcomes you with that smile.

This was our first hotel on our eastern vacation of 2 weeks. We spent 3 nights here and the service was very good. The pool was basic, clean and the kids enjoyed it very much. The breakfast area was very clean and well stocked. The manager/owner made sure you were looked after and interacted with everyone. She was over the top friendly and kind. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is near construction so parking can be tricky but we had no problems overall. The price was in line with most other places in the area. It was in a good location that allowed us to make our base here for a few days without traffic headaches. Staff was very friendly and I'd be back if in the area again.

Only stayed here 1 night for a high school reunion but I was quite surprised with how modern everything was. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, seems to have been newly renovated. The rooms were fine, bed was average but the walls were definitely thin. We listened to partying until 2am before calling the front desk about it. Still the hotel itself is fine.

One of the best hotel experiences ever! Jessica was easily the best part! She is funny, warm, inviting, friendly and treats you like you're a treasured guest and friend.

Room was nice and clean, however no ice machine on my floor which I found surprising since I had to executive suite.
Quiet time at 10pm which is a little inconvenient when you're there for an event that ends at midnight. Definitely a family focus hotel, which is great! Just not for me.
Breakfast was delicious.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were SO nice. The room was clean. The breakfast was great, the pool was great. No complaints.

Whenever I travel, I have mostly stay in Comfort Inn. As a choice member, I would recommend this hotel to my friends. They have a great service, very sincere employee, great breakfast, very clean appearance.
Also the room is not smell, when they said smoke free they really smoke free. I have stay in other Comfort Inn that claim smoke free but the hallway it self is smell like an ashtray. I would nominate thihotel as a Choice hotel of the year.

This hotel is a new building which was spotlessly clean. It was a bit out of downtown Halifax, but the staff were all cheerful and friendly. There was construction of a new hotel next door, but we asked to be placed away from the noise and were accommodated. It was very quiet in our room. As well, they have gluten free bread with a separate toaster bag to protect it from contamination in the back if you ask, so the breakfast was very celiac friendly.

Great customer service with the best continental breakfast I have ever had! The rooms are huge and I found the beds very comfortable, which I find can be a challenge at any hotel I stay at. Close to Bayer's Lake shopping area.
