Front desk staff are amazing and helpful. I have nothing but great things to say about the hygienists and Doctors as well. I definitely recommend Community Dental!

My family and I have been Patients of Dr. MacLean for 15 years. Dr. MacLean and her staff are wonderful, providing exceptional service and developing treatment plans to obtain the best outcome for her patients.

I have spent the last year reflecting on our experience at this dental practice. In a way, I am conflicted because our relationship with the practice started on a good note. I am also conflicted because we have had some amazing human beings who had attended to us during our time as patients at this establishment. Moreover, our dentist, Dr. Natasha Hovey was simply the best!

Now to the negative experience. It all started during the pandemic. We are a family of 5 using this practice. And with that comes three children who would occasionally get sick. Our attendance at appointments have been outstanding and I believe we’ve had to cancel about 3 appointments due to illness throughout our relationship with this clinic. Fast forward to this particular time when we failed to provide the standard 48 hours cancellation notification — we did it in 24 hours. While we were booking another appointment, we were informed by the admin staff that we had to pay some fees for a missed appointment. I acknowledged the fact that we were late cancelling the appointment but that we didn’t miss it. I informed them that this was due to circumstance beyond our control. Our child was ill, hence the short notification. This staff person became belligerent and proceeded to inform us that we did that before (which was also another cancellation due to illness) and that this time we had to pay. I reminded them about our loyalty to their service over the years and pushed back about the payment. She asked me to hold on, and after some minutes came back and informed me that the fee was being waived. Sadly, this marked the beginning of our ordeal with this clinic.

From that day forward, we greeted with cold shoulders every time we went for appointments — how we were received, how we were attended to, and how things were explained to us, regarding our dental health, became abysmal. It was day and night! My children would sit in the reception area and we would be the last to get called in even when we had arrived ahead of everyone and we've been waiting past our appointment time. People were not eager to answer questions and minimal information was being provided post treatment.

One day everything came crashing when my wife went in for an appointment. As she sat waiting for the dentist, there came in an unfamiliar face - a new dentist. She asked what happened to Dr. Hovey and she was advised that Dr. Hovey no longer practice at the clinic. My wife lost it! As someone with dental practice phobia, to bring in an unfamiliar face to attend to your dental needs when you have already established a relationship with another dentist, and for this dentist to no longer work for this practice and no one bothered to inform you? She refused to be seen by this new doctor and called out the gross incompetence in communication. At this point the clinic manager came over to her and tried to walk her out of the clinic to go “talk” outside. Now, things would get more interesting from here onward. As a Black woman, this action of let's go out and talk immediately evoked the narrative of the angry, trouble making Black woman. She questioned why they had to walk her out of the clinic when she was simply asking important questions.

At this point, she called me and left to come home. I called the clinic, spoke with this manager and raised our concerns. I expressed my utter disappointment about our not so good experience to date and how my wife was treated during this particular visit and the fact that no one thought that as patients of Dr. Hovey, we deserved to be informed that she was no longer with the clinic

This was the day we server relationship with Community Dental Centre. I am glad that we have since transferred all of our files to another practice where we are treated respectfully and with dignity.

Dr MacIsaac and his assistant Karen are super great! I have really enjoyed all of my experiences there so far. Pricing is very fair.

Everything is explained, lots of information shared to make decisions.incredibly personable and friendly. Would recommend

I owe a balance of 300 since October 2022 after falling on hard times without employment I was unable to pay and my girlfriend and children have zero amount owing.
My girlfriend called to confirm an appointment and was informed by pannozzos reception that all appointments have been cancelled for her and my son due to my balance and was told to find another dentistry or pay my balance to allow them to go to their appointment.

Terrible way to go about collection of debt, have never received one call or email, zero correspondence or any notice it was cancelled, we have coverage and my son is %100 covered.

Dr. MacLean, the hygienist and the girls out front are amazing. The overall atmosphere is very welcoming!

This clinic is great. Good location with lots of parking. I'm a very skittish patient, and Dr Ramier and his staff are very patient with me.
