Cora Breakfast and Lunch

Going downhill quickly. With all the new competition in the area, it’s clear how far this place has slipped. Torn booths, not super clean, and menu items that are behind the times.

This visit? Well, there’s always something at this Cora… they were out of cheese, the grapes were mouldy, and the beans (presented as homemade), straight out of a can.

Server was sweet, but that was the only sweet thing about the place. Table was sticky, my cup had someone else’s lipstick, the picture of my food says it all. I don’t particularly enjoy Cora’s but this experience really tipped me over the edge of never eating again!

I found a hair in my food.asked the gf if it was a pube? She said it sure looked like 1.short & curly wurly ‍️. That was enough for me

It was so tasty. Both the Eggs Benny and the "Gabriel" were fantastic as was the service.

Coras used to be great! Lately however their serving sizes have gone down significantly, while prices have gone up. The GiGi omelet for example which is supposed to be filled with goat cheese, it had a sparse few sprinkles. (Like less than a teaspoon for the whole thing. I opened it to look) You couldn't even taste it. I used to leave full after that meal and now leave still hungry. And Coras used to be my favorite breakfast place.

Food was delicious as always and the staff were very pleasant. Only real issue is with the booths. Smaller then other locations. For bigger people not very comfortable. This is no reflection on the staff or owner as they do have tables as well.

I use to be a big fan of Cora's but I'm starting to get the feeling the quality is going downhill. I have been a number of times in thr pastbwyar for brunch and I leave unhappy every single time. I am not one to down on a business but this is a small franchise and it should be at least up to par with other breakfast/brunch places. For the price you pay for breakfast here, I would expect to see better druit on my plate. Not only have I been repeated given rotten melon or sour strawberries with one side so soft it's bordering mouldy, I won't be going back to this location. The staff are amazing, don't get me wrong, the service is always amazing, it's the quality that is going down hill. My eggs benedict were always undercooked and the hollandaise is almost tasteless.maybe new cooks? All I can say is as much as this was my fave place to grab a hearty breakfast I'd rather go somewhere else.

Great choices that are healthy and the price is consistent with other breakfast places offering the same or similar fare. Service was very fast and staff were helpful and courteous. I recommend Cora's for breakfast and brunch.

Worst experience ever food was over cooked, asked for over easy eggs- got over hard.potatoes were burnt.don't get me started on the $3 cup of swill they call coffee

Fruit not fresh. Coffee warm and burned tasting. Home fries tasted like rubber. Overall not a good experience. Would not eat here again

Love Cora's dishes. Ths food was great

I was irritated that debit/credit was down yesterday and we weren't told prior to being seated (despite the workers knowing when we walked in that it was down). When our bill was brought waitress played it off like she "thought" she told us but then proceeded not to tell the people seated right after she had had this discussion with us.
I don't appreciate dishonesty nor the rush to the the ATM (and ATM fee to pay) when we had to go for an appointment because obviously they didn't want people to just walk out.
It's a pandemic and most people don't carry cash. Be honest and upfront.

Good breakfast and service but overpriced for the quality. We enjoy Pur & Simple more. Also, Coras in Ontario is better.

The French toast with strawberries and a sweet syrup on top was just OK. Made the toast too soggy. Would not order it again. Will go back to regular breakfast.

It was a lovely brunch with a lovely friend. My meal was very tasty and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you Cora's.

I'm very confused by the great reviews of this place. Our experience was very different. As soon as we walked in the front doors we were hit by a very strong musty odor. The service was great, but the food less so. The pancakes tasted like they came out of a box and one was over done. The fries were burnt and greasy on the outside, and underdone on the inside. The fruit smoothie was bitter, and the coffee was terrible - and I really am not fussy when it comes to coffee, so this says a lot! However, we did enjoy the fruit, as it was fresh, and my spouse did enjoy his burrito crepe. We don't like to complain so we ate what we could of our meal, but won't be going back.

Probably the worst experience I've ever had at a Cora's. First, when the waitress was taking our order I asked for an eggs Benedict - over easy, to which me had to correct me that an eggs Benedict was either soft, medium or hard. Now, I'm sure that that may be so, but if someone says "over easy" to you, then it's safe to assume that they mean soft! Then she failed to mention that the light sprinkling of cheese on my fries cost $3. Then she never brought us any cutlery, so we had to get up and go find someone to get cutlery. Then she forgot to bring us more creamers for our coffee. So we had to get up and find someone to get us more creamers. They never came once to clear any of the garbage off of our table and the restaurant was freezing. We waited forever to get the bill and the waitress never seemed apologetic about anything, if anything, she seemed annoyed. Will never eat here again.

A great brunch place with a menu which offers many choices. Coffee refills are unlimited and service was great

I haven't eaten here in years but decided to go because there are not that many places open earlier for breakfast. Atmosphere was good didn't have to wait to be seated and no reservations needed. The food was pretty good and priced well for what I got. I ordered the Coras special and was very happy with my meal and experience.

Three stars because their food is always good. But today I ordered from skip the dishes and found mould on my fruit. Not happy: (

Never had a cinnamon roll French toast before! It was really good. It would have been nice if the menu was on their website. I like to plan ahead!

Great food. Busy spot. A bit too noisy with the open kitchen if you are seated in that area. Had my fave - eggs Benedict with smoked salmon! Yummy!

Awesome food, good seating and wonderful staff. Sunshine panini is where it’s at! Also Jason is a wonderful manager. Keep up the good work everyone:)

Really enjoyed the breakfast options available and the service was top notch. My coffee mug stayed full by the attentive server!

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I've been going once or twice a year since childhood. Fond memories, friendly staff, beautiful and delicious food along with the complimentary fudge on the way out. Yes, please

My only dislike is that lines to get seated can take a while.
