Always a good breakfast stop. Get the Jo Construction or Cora's Special. You will not leave here hungry. Western Omelet is also a great choice.

Cora always is our place to go for breakfast. We've been from coast to coast and everytime, Cora is the same, great food, priced right, great service!

Took our 3 year old for breakfast. Service and food were both good. They happily replaced bacon with eggs.
I had a black coffee which was also at par with most famous coffee chain.

Great staff, on the weekend anyway. They remember their regular customers like family, at least Tanya does. It can get busy but service is usually pretty quick.
My favorite part of this location is that the food quality seems better than other HRM locations I've been to (dozens of times, to be fair) and the portions are bigger here. I will pick this spot going forward.

Quality of food can be hit or miss, but usually pretty good. You also get a fair bit of food for what you pay for. Staff are friendly.

We met friends from Ottawa for lunch and the restaurant was clean and very very friendly waitress, the food was great everyone enjoyed there meal. Will be back and totally recommend Cora’s

This is a review for September 21st, 2023. I came in for (what I thought would be) a quick breakfast before going to work. I walked in at 8: 12am and the place was rather busy for a Thursday morning (30ish people). However, what caught my attention was the fact that there was one server serving all tables. Now, I want to personally commend Taylor, the lone server when I arrived. She was courteous, and giving her all to each table. But being only one person, it did take 28 minutes for her to get to me to take my order. Luckily another server arrived around 8: 30, which helped. But in total, I was in the restaurant for over an hour for a “quick” breakfast of sausage and eggs. This comment is aimed at the general management and NOT the serving/cooking staff. It is up to you to put your servers in the best possible position to give the customers a great experience. Given what she faced this morning, I hope Taylor is rewarded for doing what she could with the situation, and for the other server (she wasn’t wearing tag at name tag at the time) who walked into a rough situation and helped get things back to running smoothly. I am satisfied with the service, but not in the lack of staff managing a morning rush. I will say though, there were no apologies from anyone for the long wait at any point, and the atmosphere of the customers in the dining room was of frustration. Maybe a look at staffing levels on certain days of the week would help based on past numbers. Food was decent as it usually is. But disappointing overall experience.

Food and service great. But this time of year, wear a sweater or jacket as air condition on full and too cold to linger!

We have had previous bad experience at a Toronto location, found a hair wedged between the pancakes, swore we would never return. But here we are east coast and giving this edition a try. No hair, cooked well and enjoyable. Was it special? Not really. It is a basic what you would expect mound of food.

Nothing to complain about, the server was not exactly the most energetic or happy but she did the basic. Took the order, brought it over, took gave us the bill, and that’s about the sum of the experience. A basic place to get something when you need something to eat. No frills

Would I return? Maybe if there was nothing else around. Would I recommend this location? Sure, why not.

Love the breakfasts here at Coras. The prices are a bit on the high side, but you get lots of food and can hardly finish it all. Love the side of fruit! Lots of gluten-free options.

Went last year and bit into a chunk of glass - went back today and there was melted plastic in the food…

We ordered blueberry pancakes and strawberry waffles, the servings are way too generous and way too sweet. At over $50 for this breakfast it is far over priced. The photos of the food are very good but the product falls far short, the pancakes were not good. Probably won’t be back, and if I am I’ll stick with traditional bacon / eggs / toast.

The servers seem understaffed. Only 2 working and the place was packed.
Our table chair had a clump of sticky greasy sauce on it, the table had open tea wrappers and some garbage still left on it.
I used the womens bathroom and it was dirty, urine one the seats and the soap dispenser looked like it blew up, not kidding, it was in pieces on the counter.

There was NO FUDGE out. (Sorry I love /live for that fudge, so good)

We ordered Latte bowls, there was no foam, it tasted like hot milk. When I explained this to the server who was kindly waiting on us, she said if we wanted foam we should have ordered cappachino, they said that's what comes with foam. I near fell out my chair. They then grabbed the left over foam from the pot and poured the foam over our drinks. I'm not angry, they tried to fix it and somehow this experienced server was given wrong information. Not their fault. Where is quality control?

Oh and the fruit that was in my crepe was wrong. Again not the servers fault, they didn't tell them they were out of certain fruit.

This was a Tuesday Morning, not even the weekend.

As much as I love Cora's, the food and experience lately has become not great and for what things cost these days we have to be more choosy with where we spend out money.

Was good, took 15 minutes to take our order but once that was done we had our food and paid and left all within 45 minutes. Was 8am Monday before work.

The best breakfast hands down! Best service. Staff is the friendliest you will find and every bit of good is 100% delicious. The perfect way to start your day is here at Cora’s in Dartmouth - Garland Ave

Service is good, but food is expensive for what it is. The coffee sucks and it is $3.25. It came to $25 for a yogurt bowl, toast and coffee. The yogurt bowl was huge, but way too much for one person. The servers were all very nice and refilled coffee quickly. It would be nice to see a smaller and reasonably priced option for a yogurt and fruit bowl. It would be nice to see decent coffee if it's going to cost $3.25.

Je comprends bien le manque de personnelle mais 1 serveuse et seulement 1 cuisiner c’est ridicule. TRÈS long.assiette arrivee froide comme de la glace!
