Cora Breakfast and lunch

I will never go to another coras again. Anywhere, ever.
Pur and Simple is a MUCH better choice. MUCH. I recommend anyone reading this to go give them a try.
Took my grandchildren for lunch at the Bedford location. My granddaughters meal seemed ok, my grandsons seemed ok except for his toast. The toast had a very small amount of butter in the middle of the slice only. I picked it up with my fingers, and put it INTO THE hand of the girl who served it telling her a fresh piece of toast properly buttered would be appreciated. So, she brought me back the SAME PIECE OF TOAST, slightly mutilated with the butter now forcefully spread across it. So this is the piece she left with IN HER HAND. How epicly gross is that?
My meal, we'll that's a whole other story. Absolutely terrible. The pancakes tasted like they were taken out of the freezer and nuked, the turkey sausage was barely what I would call warm, and were so coated in oil they were slimy.
I ate one of the 3 pancakes, only because I was starved. Took one bite of the sausage, and was so disgusted I couldn't stomach anymore. And the couple of pieces of fruit that was on the place was ruined by sitting under the heat lamp.
The waiter was nice though, and he seemed to understand my frustration. He took mg meal completely off the bill, and only charged me for what th3 kids ate.
Oh, and apparently the kitchen manager was IN today, so this all appended with their approval. Which honestly, the MANAGER let this happen? Even more gross.
I'll be calling to make sure this is actually being handled correctly.
Since the kitchen manager couldn't make it happen while they were apparently there managing.
I changed my review rating after I called the"customer service" number. I was talked over, gas lighted and treated absolutely terrible.

Don’t know what going on with this place anymore, service not that great waiting for food way to long, food comes nearly cold. Chiefs don’t care manager also the same. When asked about it nobody knows.

Not sure what’s been happening lately the last few months but the last 4 times I’ve ordered the breakfast poutine it’s been missing pieces of it. Just ordered via Skip and it came with no egg and no hollandaise sauce which has been the worst disappointment of the three out of 4 times, this is not cheap food. The time before this one it was delivered how it should be but the two times before that the cheese was missing and then the time before that there was barely any cheese. Given how expensive the food is it makes it more disappointing. It hasn’t always been like this so idk what’s up but the consistent disappointments is sending an unfortunate message here. When it’s packed and made correctly it’s delicious but idk if it’s truly worth ordering from again. I don’t have time to go to the restaurant so this has been the only way Cora has received my business.

“Home of the Eggs Benny” …. I haven’t been to Cora’s in years and now I remember why my medium poached eggs were practically hard boiled eggs and the hollandaise was separating the moment it was brought out. Service was great though the waitress’ were very kind! The prices were pretty shocking for the quality of food

The atmosphere seemed a bit bland compared to other locations. The air conditioning may not have been functioning at the time of my visit. I didn't get a clear answer.
The service was decent however, was not offered any beverage until after
my dinner guest arrived 10 mins later.
The food was good, as expected. I ate the recommended smoked salmon benny. The eggs were cooked as desired. Our server was approachable and genuinely friendly.

This location did not quite meet the standards of this good restaurant chain.
The home fried potatoes were very uneven in size, so most were either under or overcooked.
My omelette had generous ingredients but was dry, flat and tough.
Crepes were tough, requiring cuttting with a serrated knife!
Coffee had a slight burned flavor and the mugs were too small and dainty.
Fruit was good but a bit skimpy.

Food was amazing as always! Service was very friendly and the wait wasn't as long as expected. Great job! Most recent visit, restaurant could have been cleaner, dusting and floors. One waitress was eating while working as well, not sure about that.

Staff are friendly, but this place has zero quality control and is disgustingly dirty! The fruit in my meal was either mushy or not ripe. I even had mouldy strawberry tops thrown in there! The coffee tastes and looks like dirty toilet water and the omelette was burnt, flavourless and cold. My family members meals were also terrible.

Best part about the meal was the gluten free bread that I had to remind them to bring over because it was forgotten.

I don’t know why people come here for breakfast.

As we reached there no one come to us for 5 minutes. After that one girl came to us and told they are running out of food so it will take 30 minutes to prepare food if we dine in. Then she clean the table so finally after about 15 minutes we got a chance to sit down. The first thing we ordered was hot chocolate and she said they don’t have it. So we ordered orange juice, omelette, fry egg and toast. There were very big chunks of veggies in the omelette but taste was good. Finally as comparing to other Cora places it was very disappointing.

Everytime I call Bedford they jut say we’re too busy to take an order, dine in only. Even if it’s noon, then they cut all service off 40-30min before the store closes. Other Coras aren’t this bad, the Bedford employees learned to turn away customers constantly. Maybe it is because everyone is very young and just don’t want to work?

Great place to get a healthy breakfast.
The staff are very nice to us, and thank God for large coffee cups. LOL
I love great coffee in the morning.

We waited for one hour to get the food, half of the food was uncooked and the rest was was burnt.the portion of the food was unsatisfying, had a very bad experience here, the server was rude and racist. I

Eggs Benny Served Cold and Slow Serve Don’t get this mixed up with the other Cora’s Locations The Cora’s in Dartmouth Burnside Does it Right Avoid Bedford location

My husband, 7 year old daughter and myself had breakfast here at about 10am on a Tuesday. It was very quiet, with maybe only 3 other tables occupied. We were seated promptly and our lovely waitress Eddy took our drink order of 2 coffees and a hot chocolate. The drinks came within 5 minutes. The hot chocolate was especially good, the coffee is nothing special. Eddy promptly returned for our meal order and offered suggested additions, such as cheddar on the breakfast potatoes, which I agreed to because CHEESE. My daughter asked for whipped cream on her pancakes with fruit and Eddy was happy to oblige.
Our food came out about 10 minutes later.
Eggs, bacon, potatoes, blueberry pancakes, toast and fruit. Everything was delicious, most notably the potatoes, and large portions except the eggs. 2 eggs was a small serving, but cooked well.
The only critique? The food was not hot, in spite of coming quickly. Serving on heated plates would help with that.
Eddy was never far away and came quickly to clear dishes and bring the bill. She is a gem!
We will be back for sure.

Food was good, service was good, but it was busy and VERY slow, took at least an hour to get our food even though we were seated right away.

Well the service was really slow as they were busy but it does not mean u don’t care about the customer. I ordered Cora breakfast combo in which I got missing my toast when I asked it, I got after 20 mins. After my Bfast I waited around 20-25 mins for the bill. Really disappointing first time in Cora’s place

Most unorganized Cora’s I’ve ever been too, the place is ran by children and they literally never have your order ready when doing pick up. I’ve ordered many times and there’s almost always been an issue. One time I waited 20 min after estimated pickup time and when I got the order I opened it up at home and found out that they forgot the eggs for all of the meals… how does that even happen. After calling back to complain they laughed about it on the phone. Do yourself a favour and order at a different Cora’s, it’s worth it.

Sure isn't like it used to be. Food was cold, very expensive, and the fudge was all gone.

I did not want to give them a one star but today experience forced me. Look at my lettuce it is dry. I didn’t expect this from Cora

Poor service. Poor food. This is why you don’t go on Sunday to Cora’s.food was also cold when we got it. The waitress ignored us for coffee refill. People sat after us and got there food before us.

The kids menu our 2.5 year old was given was already coloured in by someone else, food was burned and undercooked at the same time, kids crepe was first delivered without whip cream or any decoration, when we asked for the burned potatoes to be replaced they brought us new but still burned potatoes, omelette was burned.

It says something when our kid refused to eat her crepe and instead wanted her plain toast. Wife didn't want to eat hers. I only ate as much as I did to maintain a good mood (I was hangry) but it wasn't enjoyable.

Haven’t been here in a long while as 7 or 8 years ago, I spent a few dollars less than $50 for breakfast for 2 with no beverages,
Last weekend it was about $20 a person including coffee.pricing has improved.
Quality was good, and quite a bit cheaper than their counterpart, Pur and Simple, and more conveniently located.
I had the fruit crepe and it was tastier and a few dollars cheaper.
Critique: Coffee mugs are too small, and wanting to turn over our table, the waitress did rush us out- she wasn’t subtle- causing my friend to leave behind her glasses.
All In all though, I would return.

Cost very expensive what what it is and over cooked, for such simple food messed up very bad for something so simple

Kitchen is always slow. This location is the worst one in HRM when compared to the other Cora locations

Waitress was very nice but the kitchen was extremely slow. We waited over 50 minutes for our food to arrive. We had simple meals of crepes and omelettes so nothing to complicated. Would not recommend this place
