Even though they didn’t have space to see my dog that same day, I got recommendations on what I could try to help my pup. That for me was great!

We owe many thanks to the staff at Cornwallis for the years they’ve spent taking care of our fuzzy family members. Our regular vet here is just doing surgeries now but we’ve found their newer vets to be just as competent, compassionate, and passionate about what they do. The techs and front desk staff are also stellar. We couldn’t ask for a better vet clinic and our dogs agree.

I have been dealing with Cornwallis veterinarians for many years and everyone from the front desk staff to the vet techs to the veterinarians are always so caring and compassionate. Just had my little dog Roxy in on Monday and she got the best of care and gentle handling from Dr. Sherry Smith as she was dealing with a painful procedure. I highly recommend them to anyone

We have been taking our two cats here since moving to this area and I highly recommend them. The staff are professional, kind and supportive in their care of our pets. We recently had to have one put to sleep & the staff, Dr Roberts were so caring and compassionate during what was a difficult time.

We're always pleased with the service we receive from the staff at Cornwallis vet! We just had to say goodbye to our family pet yesterday and as hard as that is and I'm sure they see this stuff often we still felt the compassion and sadness they felt for our family through this hard time and made out dog Bella feel at peace before we said our goodbyes. We will always continue to go here!

The staff is amazing! Dr. Dubeau is awesome with our cats, especially our old girl. The few times we have seen any of the other doctors we've also received excellent care. The admin staff, techs, assistants, etc. - their love and respect for animals is evident the second you walk in the door.

Horrible! Will never call again. They had absolutely zero interest in helping me or booking an appointment which would have taken five minutes. I've called them three times in the past few months and they couldn't wait to end the call except during one when the receptionist thought I wanted to euthanize my parrot, then they would have had no problem doing that. Totally disgusting.

Good place to take your pet, it is abit on the pricey side but what isnt when your talkng about your pet its crazy.

My quality of service was awful, they were more concerned about my money then anything else.
I had issues with their services as my vet before had been completely different, my previous vet made constant contact and concern with my animals after a procedure and these people couldn’t. My other vet called for a check in for an eye infection but this vet couldn’t be bothered even for a major procedure. They butchered my animal, barely prepared me for the aftercare, and when I had questions and concerns about my animals major surgery I was treated like an annoyance and a waste of time since they weren’t taking my money to answer my questions. I spoke to some neighbours and I wasn’t the only one with the feelings but since there’s a vet shortage we have to put up with poor quality service. I understand they’re overworked but this my family member and I’m paying for a service. I expect some compassion and respect, I wasn’t asking for much, I was asking them for services OTHER VETS HAVE PROVIDED ME. Their younger receptionists (not all there was some great ones I will say who were more supportive then the male vet and vet techs) are rude and condescending.

I live in the valley but I asked my Truro vet to take me back because I’d rather make the drive all the way to Truro then go into this vet.

Hearing other peoples experiences really turned me off and as a member of CKC and a breeder I will 100% let other people know of their services

We had to put our 14yr old dog down and Cornwallis Vets were absolutely amazing. They were so accommodating and caring. Thank you for making a sad day the best it could be. When no other vet were willing to take us, Cornwallis didn't hesitate to help in our time of need. Forever grateful. Blessings to the sweet Ladies who helped us
