We LOVED our stay here. November staycation with the kids. We came for the pool, hot tub and waterslides. Everything was great.

The hotel is new / modern and up to date. Very clean. Spacious rooms. TVs made it easy to access netflix. Pool opens early and closes late. Everything in the hotel is clean, well maintained and modern. Tons of food options around the area.

We'll be back.

The hotel itself is nice but the parking lot is completely inadequate for the number of guests the hotel can accommodate. Had to park in a restaurant parking lot across the street. Unfortunately would not stay here again simply due to the lack of parking

Very nice and clean! Walking distance to the wharf and restaurants. Parking space is very tight and you have to pay to park. Everything else is great!

Was a very beautiful hotel lots to do around within walking distance, but they should be more clear on the site about the breakfast as i was under the assumption it was free and was disappointing when i found out it wasnt.

We attended a meeting in one of the conference rooms. While we did not use most of the hotels amenities we found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The areas we attended were exceptionally clean and nicely appointed. We will certainly consider this as a place to stay our next overtime visit to the region. The hotel is located in the middle of Costco and large number of popular box stores. Very convenient for certain being only moments from the highway

Decent hotel in downtown halifax, great night out if going to the "Cut" restaurant

If possible I will give zero for customer service. We had a late check in and I had displeasure of checking in with Mohammed. I wanted to redeem my e-gift card through Marriott Bonvoy and for some reason he had no idea of how to do it and instead of being helpful he touted company policy and asked us to pay it on our credit card. When I disagreed and asked to speak to supervisor/ manager he said that he was the asst supervisor/ manager and the only way we could checkin is by placing block on the card for full amount. At one point he also suggested that I wait in the lobby until Mon to talk to the manager. He then threatened us that he would call the cops on us if we don’t agree to pay or leave the premises. He called the cops on us to intimidate us under the false pretence that we were yelling at him. I got in touch with the customer service at Marriott Bonvoy and talked to a very helpful representative. Cops arrived and asked us about what was happening and listened to my interaction with Marioot Bonvoy customer rep and then left. The rep was quite helpful and she gave us the number for gift card support. I spoke to Michelle at gift card payment and she asked to speak with the front desk (by that time front desk staff had changed) and thankfully rude Mr Mohamed was not there. I handed my phone to Patrick. Michelle asked for details and guided Patrick on how to redeem the e-gift card and we were able to pay for our stay through the gift card. This whole process took more than 2+ hours. Management need to do better job in training your customer facing staff on how to interact with guests and not have staff in the front desk if they are not willing to go an extra mile to help a paying customer. We were treated as if we were looking for a free stay and Mohammed did not stop to think “how can I solve this guests problem and help her out”.

The room was great; it had a nice king size bed, sofa with ottoman and nice bathroom. The hotel was located to an outlet shopping centre with ample stores, restaurants and cineplex.

Excellent front desk service. Residence Lodging is impeccable.very clean and totally updated.kitchen and utensils included.wouldn't hesitate to stay again.all positive

Stayed for a month. Everything was good. After checkout, they charged heavily for pen marks in the couch. It is unacceptable price. People coming with kids aware of it.

We really enjoyed our weekend here! Rooms were pristine & way bigger than we expected (we stayed on the residence side as we had our dog with us). I used the pool & hot tub later in the evening when all the kids cleared out & my husband got use of the nice gym. Delicious breakfast, complimentary popcorn in the room & nice little convenience store built into the hotel. Great locations from everything in HRM & a quick trip out to the beaches on the Eastern Shore.

New building. Built at the COVID pandemic: seems construction done when some one was cutting corners.quality issues. Good ideas though

Overall nice hotel but the children in this hotel were running wild. Not to mention the parents drinking in the lobby. Went for a little getaway and didn't get much rest. Kids were running the halls till late at night screaming and having a great time and started back up early in the am. Appears parents didn't care about them disturbing others. The hotel should keep teams and families on floors away from adults, not wanting to listen to kids. Not restful or enjoyable. I don't even blame the kids that much I blame the adults who had no consideration for anyone but their group/team.

One of best Courtyard's in North America as the hotel feels and looks new. Room was good size (2 queen beds) with very large HD TV. Excellent wifi speed. Checkin was very quick and friendly. Treated Bonvoy Titanium very well. I would definitely return.

My mother came to stay with us and ever since she walked in the door she was given attitude. My step dad tried to purchase a pop lastnight and was told that he couldn't. So he goes down in the morning and tries again, then was told that he didn't to go to the Starbucks to order it and pay there and then come back to her and she will get it for him. He didn't bother. Then my mother, my sister and step dad go down to get breakfast and was told that they needed to pay cause it isn't free. Which it is free for everyone else for some reason. So they go to McDonald's to buy breakfast, come back to be locked out of there room. They were not satisfied at all. I'm not sure but is it because they are aboriginal (First Nation) ? My mother said she will not return or stay here again.

Great location for a kids sports tournament. Very close to good food spots and large stores.

Rooms are very clean and well appointed. Bistro serves some nice food. The swimming pool was very well kept. The fitness centre is well equipped. As for location, it's tough to beat. Surrounded by shopping and food, right off the highway. Staff are super pleasant and helpful.

Stayed there one night. Paid $330 for the room and breakfast wasn’t included. I’ve stayed at Super 8 hotels and others for less than half this price that have had breakfast included. Elevator was randomly shut down about 5-6 different times due to maintenance so we had to take the stairs every time we wanted to go anywhere.

We were a party of 4, with one couple staying in the room next to my wife and I. The hotel was fine, but the management was another story. On our first day, one of our friends staying in the room next door warned us that their bathroom floor was kinda slippery if you're wearing socks and to be careful. She advised to wear bare feet or shoes. I should have paid attention. The next day I walked into our bathroom with socks on, slipped, and just barely hit the side of my face on the edge of the quartz counter. The floor tiles were either coated with something, or they are just plain slippery. My prescription glasses were destroyed, I was cut and bleeding so I cleaned it up and iced it. The next day it was swollen, my vision was fuzzy and I had a black eye. I went to the front desk to let them know what had happened. They were shocked when they seen me. What I was hoping for was for them to correct the safety hazard so someone else didn't get hurt. Long story short, they acted liked they cared, but did nothing. In fact they kept promising to do something about it and let me know. All they did was send me follow up emails saying "we're working on it" until a month later when they sent me one that basically said "we're not addressing this because you slipped, and it's your fault". Obviously afraid of liability.

The hotelvwas very, the lady at the front desk was great. We will stay again if we return to the Maritimes.

Marriott experience. Hotel excellent. The bistro not so much. Food was medium. Tried several times, same every time.

This is the nicest Bonvoy property that we have stayed at in the Halifax area. The four star rating is because the person on the front desk was almost surly in their attitude. My partner is a Bonvoy Platinum member and we are used to superlative service.
The room was well appointed with working USB ports on both sides of the bed as well as appropriate places through out the room. As is common in Bonvoy properties the couch was uncomfortable.

Impeccable service! If I could give this team 6 stars I would. They made my three week stay feel like a four seasons experience. This place is well staffed, there is alway somebody who is ready to assist you with anything. The team are very polite, respectful and professional. Add on top of it great package deals with breakfasts included, a nice big pool and a fitness facility and you'll get an unbeatable combination. I strongly recombine this place. Respect to all the staff and the manager. Thank you guys!

Excellent location - Dartmouth Crossing has all the amenities from food to entertainment to shopping. It's mere minutes drive to the MacKay Bridge to bring you to downtown Halifax.
The room we had was very spacious. We had two queens, a four person dining set, and a kitchenette that includes a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, apartment size fridge and two burner ranger.
Free convenient on-site parking is a bonus, especially with kids or if you're going in and out a lot.
Large indoor pool and hot tub; kids loved the indoor water slide.
Lastly, the service was excellent - both the front desk service and the complimentary continental breakfast staff. Friendly and eager to help. Breakfast is hot and cold, with eggs fruit breakfast meat oatmeal yogurt etc.

Overall, cannot critique anything!

Always a five star feel, but without the price. Such comfort, such care by the staff, your stay is their utmost priority. Even after two years since opening, the property is immaculately cleaned by the staff, rooms and public areas, and the upkeep shows few signs of wear and tear. Everything still feels and looks new.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a longer visit. It was pet friendly. The hotel has one of the nicest pool areas I've ever seen. The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.

We stayed in the Residence Inn side and loved it.very friendly, fantastic, comfortable beds and a nice breakfast. My favourite was the kitchen. It had everything! Including a sweet, small but mighty dishwasher. We made a full meal. We met children in the elevator who raved about the water slide!

If you are here to visit the city this is not the best choice, still highly recommend! The pool is very chlorinated which made it hard to swim in, would like to see it fixed. Comfortable stay with a nice patio for a morning coffee outside. Great hotel!

M'eh hotely. Clean, new, but not the aging grandeur of the old Nova Scotia. Nice water slide, No adjoining rooms, pool was packed.but still below its 50% capacity for COVID rules which was set at something insane like 150 people.

Nice new Marriot in Halifax, close to some restaurants and large shopping centers. Costco and Walmart are 5 mins away and you are only 20 mins from downtown. Rooms are spacious and new, bathrooms are good, and gym is good. No pool yet but coming soon.

Brand new hotel next to a lot of shopping including Costco, Walmart, as well as lots of places to eat such as Boston Pizza, moxie's, Jack Astor, sushi and Greek. The hotel itself is upscale and looks like a 4 star hotel with a nice bar and lounge area for large groups. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a nice big indoor pool, and a huge patio with a Napoleon bbq and outdoor fireplace. Since it is brand new, hopefully the level of service and cleanliness doesn't drop (significantly) as it is also only about 15 min away from downtown Halifax.free parking and free breakfast. Great value overall!
