THE WORST. Brought our car for them to just do a general check up, the sub-frame needed to be replaced, they said it would take 10 business days for them to get a USED part and they kept our car for over a month. They ended up using THE SAME part my car had and they just welded it… so I basically waited a month for them to do something they could’ve done in 2 days. Customer service was an absolute nightmare, the front desk lady kept telling me “she would call me back” and did not call me back even once. I had to keep calling every day to get an update from them.
And that’s only a small part of the very worst experience I’ve had with a mechanic. They hay quoted the new piece, didn’t put a new piece, kept the same just welded and somehow the quote came up to be even more than what they originally said. Had to keep asking them for a quote for days because they wouldn’t send me anything.
Anyways, would NEVER recommend. They did a bad job, the customer services was dreadful and the experience in general was just disgusting. If I could put negative starts, I would.

My girlfriend had both rear shocks and "new" shock mounts put in a few years ago, and they both needed to be replaced this year for inspection. As I was replacing them, I discovered one of the bolt holes on the left shock mount was missing the threads, so they decided to put a bolt in from up top with a nut underneath. I have no sweet clue how they did it, there was zero access to the top of the mounts, so we had to cut a hole to even get at the bolts where it looks like it was hammered inwards to get the previous bolt out. I don't think that qualifies as a "new" shock mount.
Would not recommend whatsoever as the work was clearly done with the mindset of "It won't be me doing it next so I don't care. "

Charged far to much labour for the work that was done. I paid the bill but will never return. The work was done well, but seriously hours more than it should have taken.

Did the best they could with what they had and fixed me up on budget. Would have got 5 stars but my battery was dead when I picked it up. Not a big deal, but soured the experience.

Job done alright, communication was very vague, seemed as almost they tried to lock me doing the mvi with them: both the receptionist and the mechanic said the works would estimate to about 200’s$ without any notion to the potential increase, thus latter turned out to be around 800’s$. I talked to them in person twice, they never issued any official quote with price break-down. I know it’s customer’s liability to demand the quote, but it comes at good will of the shop to provide one too. 10 minutes latter I tried to call them up and cancel the appointment, the receptionist asked me to “hold”, where I held for about 6 minutes without any answer, and my 2 follow-up calls were just hung up on, which was actually rude. I returned to the shop 15 minutes latter to find out that the work was already started and that any attempt to abort the operation would result in fees.

I mean, thanks for the work, but this is not the way you do business and communicate with customers. Congrats, you got your money-job today, but you have now lost at least 5 more potential customers - way to go guys.

Stay away, far away. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!

They replaced a right rear rotor, caliper and pad for my Toyota Matrix.
9 months late when i came to another company (TTL Automotive Ltd.) with the same right rear wheel problem their mechanic told that the caliper and the pad should be replaced. He explaned me that the reason to change them again because the previous mechanic set this pad in wrong way and it destroyed the caliper. He can confirm it and give me the caliper as a proof to come to Cox's Auto Clinic and ask about some compensation.
When I came to Cox’s Auto Clinic and ask them about partial return at least they even did not want to call to my new mechanic to clarify situation.
I probably had the worst experience in my life at Cox’s Auto Clinic.

My trusted garage honest and excellent. For a MVI they will tell you what is wrong and I don't feel they are going to rip me off telling me things won't pass when they are good just to get some more billable work.

Very friendly and love the front desk staff. Work is done on time prices are as quoted and always happy with the end result.

Nice people, affordable work, but seems a lot of guesswork going on. Had them replace my brakes which weren't done properly; this lead to many follow up visit until I had to take the car elsewhere to get it properly fixed.

I brought my 2017 Mazda 6 in for brakes. I needed front brake pad and rear pads and rotors. The bill was cheaper than I thought it would be as I shopped around. I also thought of changing them myself but Cox's auto was only 100.00 more for installation and materials.
My work sent me outta town for 9 days so the car sat there at no charge. Also I noticed they changed the front rotors too. I checked the bill there was no difference.so I can't speak highly enough about cox's auto service. Aaaaand! It's just down the street:)

My business has used Cox's for years for servicing our fleet of small trucks. They do excellent work and are always responsive when we need an issue dealt with quickly. They also help find the most economical way to address vehicle issues. Recommend them wholeheartedly.

Every time I goto these guys they tell me what is wrong and always talk about the cheapest option they can do. Don’t want new parts? No problem. They take care of me.

I’ve never gone to them and had a single worry that they were up selling me or inventing problems that don’t exist to make money. Great business!

Awesome and truly nice experience. I went for an MVI and had a suspicion that one part needed changing. The receptionist called me and told me the left front wheel bearing needed changing (which is what I suspected). I brought them the part and it was installed legitimately. Very pleased with the service. Highly recommended!

The good:

- office staff were friendly and helpful.
- price was very reasonable.
- got me in 2 days later.
- completed work very quickly.

The bad:

- tech did not wash hands or wear gloves when he was in my car. Got dirt and grease everywhere.

Ok this place is the perfect friendly neighborhood garage. I went there and was booked in part order, price great, happy I found this gem. I will go back to them and send anyone there who needs a great garage with helpful professional staff

Really bad service. Got my car there for checkup related to engine problems and they didn't even check my car fluids. Antifreeze was zero. They Did diagnostic check on friday and when i went to get it checked again on monday because problem persisted, the girl was ready to charge me for diagnostic check again untill the other girl told her not to. Never going back there again. If you are a girl and unaware about cars, then its not the best place to go.
