D & Jo's Country Farm Market

10/10 experience. My friends and I shared the assorted squares. Asked the employees for some cups for milk to wash down the treats and they kindly let us take whatever we’d liked plus lids for the cups. After we’ve finished with the cups we didn’t know where the garbage was so we asked an employee (who was on his break by the way) where it was and he told us to just place them on the counter for him to clean up for us. Truly a heartwarming experience for us needy kids.

Really nice little market, smells amazing when you walk in the door from the homemade baked goods. Nice selection of local products, veggies, meats, and a small grocery section with take home meals and Schoolhouse Gluten Free products. The people working there have always been very friendly when I've stopped in!

Prices and baked good used to be way better at the old location. I don't know what went wrong but nothing tastes homemade anymore. Prices are far too high and the quality just isn't there anymore. I'd rather spend 2 more minutes on the road and go to Sobeys.

This place smells amazing always. I was happily disappointed the cinnamon rolls were baking in thr back and not ready when I was there. Very friendly staff and nicely laid out store. Every time I visit Timberlea I stop here. Just because.

I live in Ontario and my daughter lives in Timberlea. I have been counting on D &Jo's to help me make some special dates, special. I have ordered a wide range of food and baked goods. They are always great and much appreciated. They even go that extra mile and write special messages on cakes or even just notes. I can't wait to be able to visit again and thank them in person. I have never had anything from them that wasn't really good. Thanks guys.

Stopped in for the first time on Nov 11th. Needed potatoes came out with potatoes, dinner rolls, rhubarb and coconut cream pie. Haha The rolls were amazing and so was the pie.

The farmers market idea has been hit or miss across Canada with everything from small stands to huge corporate farmers markets that charge an arm and a leg to have a booth. This farm market takes all the best ideas (fresh local produce, fresh baked goods, rotating selections, friendly local people) and puts it in a year round store.
The prices are fantastic for what you receive, there are fresh bakery items being made in store all day and it gives you the feeling of a true farmers market.

Their social media presence is genius as well, posting when they have fresh specials as they are literally coming out of the oven! It is great to see a small local (Timberlea) business really 'get it' when it comes to customer engagement.
