First time visiting today and I'm kicking myself for not going sooner. They have everything you could think of and it's the most organized and well stocked store I have been too. I can not wait to go back!

Okay, this place should be advertised a little more prominently as a "romance" book store, because that's clearly their specialty. I hadn't even realized that "paranormal romance" was a thing, much less one warranting a section for adults and a section for teens!
If your preference is science-fiction, horror, adventure, science or history, I'd put this way down the list of places to visit in the Halifax-Dartmouth area. Yeah, a die-hard science fiction fan is always going to find something, and I indeed did, but they were pretty obscure. No Heinlein, no Asimov, one Clarke, one Silverberg, one Sheckley, no Borges. The horror section was very sparse, and this is clearly not the place to fill gaps in your Gold Eagle collection or even your Donald Hamilton.
That being said, I was surprised to find a large number of Westerns on two racks. I wish other places made them as easy to look through.
Which brings me to the rationale for the four-star ranking: props to them for making the shelves browsable. It's so frustrating to do the funky chicken at other places which have boxes of books they couldn't shelve. Yeah, like I'm going to sort through them after almost getting a concussion because they were strewn about.
Mind you, if they face space constraints, maybe they can put the paranormal romance books in the boxes, since their readership can use telepathy to find them, and leave the browsable shelves to the unenlightened Gold Eagle readers.

A very cute local used book store. The staff have always been friendly and helpful and they have a pretty large selection of books for anyone.

Excellent, very nice staff, they had the exact Palahniuk novel I was looking for.a lot of the store is mass market paperback romance/westerns/horror but also a nice literature/poetry section, history books, contemporary fiction etc.

My first time visit was great! The store is like a homey curated library, organized, and thoughtfully laid out for your reading pleasure. Great YA and kids section, local books and fun displays for everyone! Staff was very helpful. I'll be back!

Amazing secondhand bookstore! The books are very well organized, they have them sorted by genre and by author. The books are very reasonably priced and in great condition. I would highly recommend this store to search for books on your reading list.

A very nice, clean, well lit bookstore with friendly staff. They track their inventory on a computer. They can add your name to a waitlist for a specific book and will call you when that book comes in. I love that!

Amazing second-hand bookstore. They have a great section where the books are $2 each, 3 for $5 or 10 for $10.
