Danielle at the Dartmouth Crossing store in Nova Scotia was amazing and they all made my wedding dress shopping experience amazing!

Was just in to see what was available for a plus size bride on a strict budget. I was greeted by staff and my consultant Megan. She worked with me and listened to exactly what I wanted. She pulled me 4 or 5 dresses and I narrowed it down to 2. After putting the first one back on I made my decision. It was on sale for just under $1000.00 and when she was double checking the price it ended up being only $490.to my surprise. It was exactly what I wanted and I left the store one very happy bride. Thank you Megan and David's Bridal for making me feel so happy

I was very Skeptical that I would find something for my daughters wedding, however, Brenda made my experience a Beautiful one as I found my dress in 20 mins, 24 days before the wedding.

She picked out a dress for me that I would have never chosen.

I had my bridal appointment earlier today and was so lucky to be paired with Emma as my consultant.it was my first time trying on a wedding dress and it was a little overwhelming but she was so kind and welcoming! Today I had my first visit at David’s Bridal (Dartmouth Crossing). I went in with very little ideas of what I was looking for in a bridal dress. Danielle. S made this visit so easy! I made a few selections on what my eye was catching and she pulled some dresses based on her experience! Believe it or not my top 3 dresses were from her selection. This is a true testament of her dedication, knowledge and experience in helping brides find their perfect dress. I truly enjoyed my time with Danielle today and already looking forward to my next visit to narrow down my search and finalize my details. Went to try on wedding dresses a couple days ago, amazing experience. The girl that helped us was Emma and she was so chill and super nice, and helped me try a tonnnn of different types of dresses. She went above and beyond my expectations especially while helping us pick bridesmaid dresses.

Anna was an amazing dress consultant, not only did she help me find the dress for me, she also was helpful to the other girls around.

Selena was amazing at helping me find my perfect dress. She was energetic and very kind. The staff works together to answer questions and they support each other which is always lovely to see in a store. I am very happy with my wedding dress and I am so glad I didn't miss out on the experience to ring the bell! Thank you Selena!

We walked in after two visits elsewhere. We did not have an appointment but serendipity was with us and our consultant Rebecca had a cancellation open up as we were at the desk. We had a wonderful time. Rebecca was so friendly and positive, the store was extremely busy but we felt completely comfortable and cared for. My daughter immediately relaxed talking to her. The Kleenex were out as she rang the bell and said yes to the dress.

Davids bridal staff were courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful assisting my matron of honor and my bridesmaids.
Recommend them very highly.

We were here with our mom and Raman as our stylist looking for a dress for our 80 year old mom who is getting married on Thursday. We thought it might be a challenge to find a dress fir her age but Raman looked for soooo many dresses and we found a beautiful dress. And she helped us find a perfect pair of glitter shoes for her. So fun amd comfy amd perfect.
The seamstress, Rachel was amazing as we needed it hemmed and in 2 days. She got it pinned up. Amd we will pick it up on Thursday morning.

We went in for an appointment to look at wedding dresses and had the greatest consultant! Her name was Amina and she was so awesome! We ended up finding the perfect dress and I’m so pleased! I went in feeling super nervous and flustered but half way through I felt great and the nerves left! I will 100% be going back with my bridesmaids so that Amina can help find their perfect dresses too!

I went to David's Bridal a few days ago. This was my first time wedding dress shopping/first time bride. The lady assisting me with my appointment, Kitty, was AMAZING. I'm not sure if you can call and request certain sales associates your appointments but if you can.request Kitty! My best friend and I visited David's Bridal in Dartmouth Crossing on Friday. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses; I was so nervous and didn't know what to expect. EMILY from David's Bridal was amazing! She made the whole appointment a wonderful experience. Friendly, approachable, very knowledgeable about the dresses and knew which ones they were from my pics I had on my phone. All the staff there were very upbeat and friendly and would highly recommend EMILY to work with! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

It was a wonderful experience working with the alterations team. I had a horrible experience with another tailor who told me to buy another dress instead of having the dress altered. I am a plus sized woman and needed the sleeves on my dress changed. On my first appointment, Deborah told me they could certainly make the changes needed to my dress. She was very friendly and empathetic. The team at this location made me feel beautiful, excited and worthy of a wonderful bridal experience.

When I called to book an appt, I asked if they had the styles/size/price range of wedding dresses that I wanted. They assured me there was a large selection. Drove 2.5 hrs to shop there because I always thought it was the go-to bridal shop, and I had found several styles on the website that I liked. They found me nothing I liked. I tried on one ugly dress and it was too big. They had nothing like they said they did. Not one dress from the website that I liked was in store, and I had found over 10 online. What a disappointing experience. Was so excited to get there, only to leave about 15 minutes later. I had a much better experience at Karma Bridal in Dartmouth. The sales associate quickly found me a gorgeous gown there, in a much smaller size than I had thought would ever fit me.
If you have a particular style/price range in mind, make sure you ask exactly what they have in store at David’s before you get your hopes up looking at their website and wasting your time.

My mom and I had a fantastic time during my appointment at David's Bridal in Dartmouth Crossing. It was my first time trying on dresses, and they made the experience so memorable!

There were a wide variety of dresses to choose from, which could sometimes be overwhelming, but my consultant, Selena M, was very helpful in directing me to dresses I might like based on what I had told her I was looking for.

Selena was amazing and made the whole experience perfect! I appreciated Selena's attention to detail, great communication and overall friendly nature. I never imagined I would find my wedding dress in less than an hour, so thank you, Selena, for all of your help! I cannot wait to wear my fabulous dress!

Service was good but after trying dresses and deciding on one, it was being sold damaged. This isn't what we expected shopping here. A damaged dress like that should have been noted and clearly marked in such a way.

Walked in today without an appointment, and I lucked into a last minute cancellation. Rebecca was amazing, she made me feel so special and helped me with everything I needed. I said yes to a beautiful wedding dress that I can’t wait to wear on my special day!

Scott, Kate and Sam are all mangers leaving 5 star reviews. They treat their staff poorly then do this. Make people cry for calling in sick, overworked their alts team which results in upset brides. Sad.

My wife walked in happy and grinning from ear to ear excited to buy a dress, she walked out in tears. Avoid this place at all cost.

Great selection of dresses that won't break the bank. I love the satin dresses, it gets busy on Saturdays, dress shopping is such a fun experience.

I will admit that when I walked into David's Bridal I was very overwhelmed. I'm not much of a wedding girl, and I certainly didn't have a dress I'd been envisioning since childhood! I mostly decided to check out David's Bridal to give my Mum and my Mother In Law the experience of "dress shopping" thinking I'd end up finding "the one" at a thrift store or something at a later date.

However, Kristiana was SO helpful! She could tell that I was immediately overwhelmed and stepped in to pull dresses on my behalf so I could try on different styles and see what I liked. She was very patience with us and our requests. She was very upfront and honest with me that with my wedding only 3 months away I would be buying off of the rack and wouldn't have time to order in alternate sizes. She did this compassionately which I appreciated instead of making me feel more stressed out.

In the end I found two dresses that I love and both very reasonably priced. Kristiana told me that since they only had one of each dress in my size in stock that I should buy them both and was offered 7 days to return them. She suggested I take them both home, try them on every day, dance around, play with hair and makeup and different shoes and truly get a sense of which one felt the most "me" and the most appropriate for our intimate wedding. I was SO grateful for this!

In the end I happily deciding and was able to return the other dress after 6 days with no hassle or issues:)

I was bridesmaids dress shopping with my sister in law who is the bride. She was super excited and had the vision of a say yes to the dress experience. It did not happen. The person that was assigned to us was never anywhere to be found when we need assistance in the dressing room and it was utter chaos. There were so many people and dresses throw everywhere. We somehow ended with up with another sales person who was very pushy. I wasn't really finding anything that I was in love with so I told him I didn't want to commit and I wanted to check out a few more shops as this was our first place and he said "Well you won't have enough time to find a dress with a wedding in 8 months and there's nothing they had that the other shops didnt". I had enough and left as quick as I could get my clothes on. Who says that?

Went Karma bridal and had an excellent experience. Service was amazing and I found the perfect dress in 15 minutes.

Some advice check out the smaller bridal shops before going here. Your experience will be 10 times better.

Found my dress on Sunday morning with the help of Liza! It turned out to be the first dress I tried on, though I went through a range of styles. Liza was fantastic to work with, I felt so comfortable talking with her, she really understood what I was looking for & I don't believe my experience would have been the same without her!

Ally is AMAZING CAME IN TO DARMOUTH TO GET BRIDESMAID jewelry at the last minute for my wedding and this women was OUTSTANDING! Not only did she help me pick it out for my girls she boxed it up and went out of her way to write the names each box. Which she didn’t have to do. Customer service was spot on the minute I walked in the door very polite! Super pleased! Very happy I needed this service with my wedding in 4 days THANK YOU Ally your great!

The short version: I had an absolutely wonderful experience at David's Bridal in Dartmouth Crossing. I highly recommend giving them a whirl if you are looking for attire for a special event, soiree or wedding event.

The long version: The employees that I met with were kind, friendly, courteous, approachable and professional. Those I met with were not only knowledgeable but helpful, and they exemplified the most important rule of sales. Be excited! The key to making a sale is when the transfer of enthusiasm about what you are selling passes from you to the client/prospective buyer, and that definitely took place for me. The employees all seemed genuinely happy to be working there, to enjoy their work, and it showed in their deportment.

If you've ever seen an episode of TLC's "Say yes to the dress" (without all the crazy drama), my experience was quite similar. When I arrived for my appointment, I was met with excited staff members eager to help my find "The Dress". After signing in (for COVID protocols), I met with my own personal dress assistant, Liza. She very kindly asked some great questions to start with to best determine my needs. She asked what type of dress I was looking for (or if I knew yet) and if it was my first time shopping for the dress. She then went to set up my dressing room, pulling a couple of pieces on the way and asked if I wouldn't mind browsing for a bit while she did. She very kindly set up a room for me that was large enough that I could bring my 3-year-old daughter and soon to be MIL in with me. This was a great help, as my daughter can be quite the handful when she can't see me, and my soon to be MIL helped watch her while I tried on the dresses. After trying on each of the dresses, she asked if she could see me in them to see how they fit. She then helped me see the areas where the dresses could be altered, so they highlighted my figure in a more flattering way. It immediately showed her knowledge of not only the dresses themselves but of women's figures and shapes. After we found " The Dress", she was able to help us set up an alterations consultation appointment immediately afterwards. After the consultation, we were offered a few different options for the time frame in which we could get it altered (mine was a rush order in 1 week, the average was 2 to 4 weeks) and then set up a final fitting appointment.

Overall, I had a lovely time, and it was a fantastic experience. I was thrilled with not only my dress but the care the staff took with me and their overall professionalism. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of formal wear for any occasion, not just for getting married as the name would suggest.

The seamstress was very nice and as helpful as I think she could be. However Not having any beige options was incredibly inconvenient. I was sent to get a beige bra from the bay, which had none like the white one I chose at david's. I wanted my dress lined, but wasn't told I needed at least 12 weeks for that alteration until my appointment, a month from my wedding.

Absolutely amazing experience at David’s Bridal. The customer service was phenomenal. We were treated so well and had so much fun! My bridesmaids found their dresses in the correct size and were so happy with the results! Highly recommend to anyone to go for your wedding dress or bridesmaid dresses! You won’t regret it!

I said "Yes to the Dress" at David's Bridal. I have been looking for a few weeks now and had a vision of A-line, lace and plain.nothing I tried on made me have that feeling of "this is the one". I went to my appointment and had Safaa K as a bridal consultant.she knew I was indecisive and asked if I would be willing to try something different. I did and the second dress in was a mermaid style dress and I fell in LOVE. I didn't even try on the next 3. I knew right away.tears, goosebumps.the whole deal.my guests all loved it.it was PERFECT.thank you Safaa for making my day special!

The staff is very friendly and they have a good selection of dresses however be wary of their tailoring services. I am not loving my dress anymore after having it tailored by the store and it’s quite disappointing, after paying almost the same amount in alterations as I paid for the dress. Would not recommend their tailoring services.

Was at David’s bridal yesterday for my wedding dress with my mom. The staff was friendly, really listened to my style and helped me shape the dresses to fit my curves and really envision what I’d like like with the proper size and alterations. I had a very positive experience, to the point where I loved two dresses! Still unsure what I’ll get, but did leave with my engagement party dress. Thank you to the stylists and the alternations team for helping me with my questions!

Honestly I was pretty disappointed. When I went to go purchase my dress everything was fine not the best experience but not the worst… However when I went to get my dress fitted the dress boning was sitting on my hips which wasn’t happening when I try the dress on a few months earlier. When I asked if they could do anything about it the alterations personnel said no and I asked her to put a bunch of rolled up fabric at least on the end so it wouldn’t stab me for the six hours I was likely going to be in the dress if not longer. When I went back to pick up my dress they did not complete the padding however the different alterations personnel said we could cut the boning. I was a little bit frustrated as I wasn’t sure why the first appointment this was not brought up.finally when I went to go pick up my dress after the second alterations I waited 45 minutes because they had trimmed the front boning but not the back when there was nothing wrong with the front boning but the back bonding was set to be trimmed.we waited so long for the initial appointment to find out that they had trimmed the wrong boning that I’m pretty sure they had done it while we were sitting there. Not a bad place to get a dress selected would not recommend for alterations.

I had an incredible experience with David’s Bridal this past Saturday. It was an exciting day spent with Friends and family choosing “the dress”‘of your lifetime.

Adrianna (Adi) was an incredible consultant that was knowledgeable, and understood the style and price points I was interested in. She made me feel very comfortable (and beautiful) and ensured she checked in with me privately in the dressing room as many voices and opinions can be overwhelming but she listened to me first and that was important.

The variety and price points were excellent and I was excited to find the dress on my first trip out & under budget.

I went into David's Bridal sceptical that I would find a dress to suit not only the occassion it was meant for but also my body type.
I was greeted promptly and staff were friendly. I was so happy to have Erica and Scott assist me. They listened to what I thought I wanted in a dress and helped me pick out some dresses to try on. They were patient. They gave me honest feed back and suggestions. I bought a dress that they chose and I loved it!

I will absolutely come here again for that special dress to suit the occassion!
