Here to warn other folks that this disgrace of a business will happily break your phone and refuse to repair it. Not only that, but you can count on Kalab not being accountable for damage he caused, escalating the situation in the most cringy, childish ways. This is the owner of Device Zone people, I don't know how this place is in business. You must have quite the marketing campaign Kalab, if you don't care about word-of-mouth and reviews. Stay away!

Came in to fix my iPhone XR screen. The man was very kind. He fixed the screen in less than 30 minutes and gave us a free case as well! Great place!

I finally got to try this shop, and they have the best customer service in town! They're so nice. The prices are also very fair. You can't go wrong with their skill or pricing policies here either guys.

I was so happy to find a place that gave such great customer service and reasonable prices for screen replacement. They put in the time needed, had highly skilled technicians who took care of my phone quickly while being very friendly!

A complete scam. I went in to get the back glass of my iPhone XR replaced. I confirmed with him that the apple logo will still be on the iPhone when replaced - well he lied - it was removed. The glass was replaced, without the apple logo, and now the speakerphone will not work on my iPhone during calls or during FaceTime. He will not answer my emails regarding this issue.

My phone left more damaged than it was when sent to repair.
Don't waste your time or money.

After removing the case from my Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, I found a cracked, back glass and spidery lines running faintly across the body. I was very surprised as I take care of things that cost the equivalent of tank of diesel or half a months rent in Halifax. I cant afford to take things that cost so much for granted.

Enter the Device Zone. I called and had a great conversation about the service I needed. The back glass had to be ordered in, which only took three days, and the repair itself, with part was, taxes in, a smidge over $90. An amazing price. The best part, other than the professional customer service was the roughly 20 minutes it too to do the repair. Will recommend to others in need and if I find myself so careless with my phone again, I'll return as well.

Would highly recommend! I dropped my phone and the screen broke, I was able to bring it in that same day. The owner let me know that it would be a few days for the screen to come in and was able to give me a loaner phone while I waited. He was able to explain the costs to me and I had no problem waiting since my phone model is a couple years old. My phone works the same as it did before and the process for me was super easy! For reference I brought in a Samsung that came out in the last couple of years.

Brought in my smashed S21 Ultra, almost unusable due to flickering screen. A new screen (Manufacturer original) was ordered and arrived within 2 days. As soon as it arrived the technician called me and I had it fixed within 2 hours. Everything was flawless. Way faster and cheaper than any box retailer would do it. Great job would recommend. (I'd put a photo of my phone but I don't have a second camera, maybe ill add one tomorrow.)

NEVER LEAVE YOUR PHONE AT THIS STORE! THIS PLACE IS A FRAUD AND RUN BY THUGS. A GUY NAMED “Caleb” TOOK MY PHONE INSIDE AND ASKED ME TO LEAVE THE STORE EMPTY HANDED AND HIS EXCUSE WAS THAT MY PHONE EXPLODED.

My experience at Device Zone was amazing. I was met with outstanding customer service when I phoned inquiring about a screen replacement. I was able to drop off my phone the same day and receive it fixed within an hour.

I took my phone A8 for a screen repair (it was done but not neat as it had gum on the screen) and it was returned with the back of the phone cracked. I asked what happened and the shop attendant said he knew nothing about it. I am so disappointed by their service and i wouldn't recommend their service.

Oxford St.location. Excellent, “No problem” service. Quick diagnosis of the problem of my son’s iPhone 6s and very fast fix at a very fair price. If needed, I will definitely return. If it’s fixable, he can fix it.

Brought here a phone to fix after a big crash. Initial diagnostic was "it's the screen". Time to fix was two days. We came back to pick up the phone, seemed ok and trusted the guy in general terms. Turns out the phone was not properly sealed and now the speaker was not working well. Went back, explained the situation and expected a call next day. Nothing, needed to call again for any update and now they said: "it's not out fault your speaker is damaged" If I go to an specialist with a problem, I expect the specialist to go in detail in what needs to be fixed. If, as the specialist, the screen was the first step and then you check for other issues, DO IT! Charge me for a real repair, no matter the cost, but don't wait until I find out details, then go and wait another 2 days, and then another 2 days, and on and on.for a full service. But nope, they told me the service was perfect for the screen. Well yeah, the screen is awesome but you never checked the device in detail for major problems. On the phone and in person they had cero empathy or professionalism. Words like: "you picked the phone, you should check if is fine" like now its your problem, or "you're talking foolishness" is not what you tell to a customer. BTW we never went personal on the guy, we never yelled. You guys are supposed to be the professionals, not us. They said they have no policy of refund, we even offered back the new screen or any work done, never tried to go away with a free service, NEVER. At that point, we just wanted to leave. I'll take my measures next time with any device "repair" centre. BTW 2: If you have an Android, apparently that's your first mistake, any "good" or "easy" fix is from iPhones. Be aware. The photo is from Tuesday Nov 16,2021, when we first found out it was not properly sealed.

Fantastic service received at their Halifax location yesterday. Owner even gave me a free tempered glass screen protector if I could give the business a review. I’m a satisfied customer and happy with the work they did on my iPhone screen replacement. They won’t disappoint you 10/10 recommend.

They have a great selection of phone cases, used laptops and phones. I called the store about a problem with my phone. They told me to come in and that they will have it fixed within 30 minutes. They had it fixed in 30 minutes and did a great job.

These guys did an absolutley amazing job with my phone. Other stores in the mall had quoted me $200 plus. They fixed my screen wonderfully made sure that the phone looked basically like new. Also had amazing prices on cases screen protectors. They install install the screen protecter for free. Very happy!

I can't say enough good things about device zone. They have saved me so many times in the last few years. I drove over my phone and cracked the screen they fixed it first thing Saturday morning. My daughter dropped my phone in the pool. They saved me again! My phone charger split and I needed a charger asap. The owner dropped it off to me after closing time! Great business, great techs and prices are always reasonable.

My toddler dropped my iPhone on a concrete floor and the glass screen was shattered on it to tiny little pieces. I brought my iPhone to be repaired if it was possible. The nice gentleman behind the counter welcomed me to the store and assured me that the repair is possible. I went shopping at a nearby store and within an hour my phone was ready to pick up! Device Zone charged me a very reasonable price for removing and installing a new screen on my iPhone. I’m super happy with the service and totally recommend this place.

Im so happy with the service I received here and the end result. The battery In my phone was completely fried and needed to be replaced. The device repair was very easy and service really quick. It took just under 25 minutes to have my iPhone 7 back in my hand showing 100% battery health. Very fair pricing, and quick turn around time. I will use them again In the future and highly recommend them to everyone out there!

Great service and fast! My iPhone screen stopped working after dropping it and it was out of warranty with eastlink so I had to find another way to repair it fast. I friend of mine had recommended this place an I'm glad I went there. They repaired my phone quickly and for a good price.

Asked him to look at a device that he fixed, that had a screen pressing numbers by itself issue and then blames it on the battery without even trying to replace, i went to breakandsave and it was the screen not battery.doesn't even stand by his product, would recommend going else where.

Unfortunately this place does poor work and does not honour its warranty.

This place if a fly by night fraud in a basement apartment.

Within a day of having my screen fixed the camera and Face ID no longer worked. Then the screen started to pop out and eventually came completely out and stopped working.

I brought it back and before even inspecting the phone he said that it would not be covered by their warranty. He then preceded to be quite rude and yelled at us before we even had a chance to complain or ask any questions.

I know people have bad days and do feel bad that his business is struggling, but a little decency would go a long way.

Customer service clearly not a strong conviction.

I always get amazing service here. Fantastic phone repair shop and even better electronics sales store. They also have accessories for sale.

I cannot believe how fast they got my phone up and running. It's as if the phone has never been broken. I came into the store with the biggest spider web cracked up iphone 11. The screen had lines going thru it and some dark patches where the ink was bleeding. They did a screen replacement on my iphone 11 and now the phone looks brand new and it works amazing. Thanks again Device Zone, I thought I was going to have to buy a new phone.

I brought in a MacBook air and they replaced the screen on it for as reasonable a price on the market - which went perfectly. No issues with that to this day. They than did my wife's iPhone xs screen and within a couple of weeks the screen on her iPhone xs began glitching. Fortunately, they did replace the IPhone xs screen free of charge under warranty and gave us a free screen protector to apologize for the first screen. We understand they don't make the parts but the service was amazing. We will be going back if we have any more issues.

Went to Device Zone to get my Phone screen replaced on my iPhone 7 Plus. I was referred by a friend who had used these guys and had some nice things to say about the place and their prices. Left more than satisfied 45 minutes after drop off. The owner (Caleb) even gave me a free screen protecter with my repair. 3 months on and the phone is still working great. One of the best repair shops in town for value, quality, speed of service and service. I highly recommend.

Great little phone repair shop. Went to the Halifax location on Oxford street to get my iPhone 8 screen repaired and the repair was done in just under an hour. Would highly recommend. The price was by far better than the other places where I received a quote.

This guy said he would find out the probelm with my phone, he replaced the battery which didnt actually fix the problem, because it was the charger port that needs to be replaced, little did I know untill I got home and tried to charge the new battery which eventusally just died. Now he refuses to fix it or refund. THanks for stealing $45.99 from me to replace a battery that costs $9.00 on amazon and takes less then 2 minutes to replace. Terrible human, the worst service.

Dropped my phone today and destroyed the screen. When I called they were able to see me within an hour and my phone was ready by the time I ran a few errands. Prices are posted, very reasonable and there are no surprises. Highly recommend

The prices were so good that I almost felt bad, like I was cheating them.
I was absolutely amazed at the quality of craftsmanship, speed of service, price, customer service, really just everything. I would give this place six stars if I could! I literally went for a thirty minute walk in the neighborhood, and in that time, my phone had already been fixed to perfection. Cannot recommend this business enough.

Got my iPad screen replaced here. Works great now and I’ll be coming here once I get paid to get a battery put in my iPhone. I was referred to them by my mother who had got her iPhone 6 screen repaired at Device Zone and had nothing but good things to say about them.

I’ve been here a couple of times. Once to get a plan set up for my son through public mobile. Once to get my iPhone X screen repaired (device zone had the lowest price I could find), and once more again to purchase a phone for my other son. Each one of my experiences have been great. Good little shop for getting screen repairs, and some accessories. They fixed my iPhone 8 Plus screen in a little under 1 hour for a pretty great price. They where having a sale so it cost me just around $90 in total.

Went here to get my iPhone screen repaired a couple of months ago and they did an excellent job for the lowest price I can find. Could not be happier with the service that I got. My daughter just recently broke her iPhone XR so I’m scheduling another trip to device zone in the next couple days.

I got a price to fix the screen on my phone from this place and it was better than the other stores around I dropped my phone with them at about 10am and got call at 4 saying it was ready, even though they'd said it would be ready the next morning. Very good service.

Device Zone is hands down the best place to buy a used iPhone in the maritimes. Beats kijiji by far. The phone’s are very fairly priced, and have warranties. I bought a used iPhone 7 from these guys and I was so impressed with the level of service that after a couple of weeks, I went back to buy another one for my daughter.

This place is great. I’ve come in 3 times already because my children keep dropping and breaking my phone. Definitely lowest prices I can find and highest quality workmanship.

The best place to get your screen replaced by far. Screen replacement I had done on my phone presented a defect in it whereby there was a dead spot in the screen that made me unable to click on any of the apps in the second row of the phone. Brought it back with my original receipt and they did another screen replacement for me free of charge and apologized profusely for the first mistake. All in all i’m a happy customer as they honoured their warranty.

Great place to get your phone repaired. They also have a selection of accessories and used phones for purchase. I find that you get great deals on their cases, sometimes 1/3 of the price of department stores.
