Delish Indian dishes! Was truly a tastebuds sensation. Beef vindaloo chicken Tikka masala was saucy and melted in your mouth. Naan was crispy and delish. The service was on point. Our server was readily available and made sure we had a great experience. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Great atmosphere

The worst food I ever had in Halifax. Paneer tikka was marinated with Chilli only, naans were pre-made maybe bought from walmart and thick. Samosa chaat and tikki chaat were worst too. We threw away the food, so that no one can get sick. Not recommended at all.

This is my second time here.

First time issue with the order: I ordered Indian coffee while ordering I asked is it Indian coffee? The person over the phone said yes it is. When I picked up my order I got regular coffee (literally and the person there told me she can put masala in it to make it Indian coffee)

Second time: I ordered Dal palak and Tawa naans (same as tandoori naan but just MADE on Tawa instead) and I received store bought packaged naans I can literally get them for 5 bucks which I literally paid 2.75 each because they warmed the food up for me.

Like there is no issue with it, but display and give an honest description of your food on your menu and also if you’re doing it then charge accordingly.
This is so ridiculous, when u ordered something and given something else.

Do not justify anything just update the menu. Do that people don’t expect extra.

If you are going for North Indian food considering “Dhaba” is punjabi word, then please avoid going there, no disrespect to any ethnicity but food was terrible terrible. Attitude of staff was also rude. I won’t recommend this place to anyone. Please save your money and time.

Also a go to for enjoying delicious food and catching up with friends in relaxed atmosphere.

Worst food I ever had in my entire life.and I don't know why they say it indian food.not even 1% of Indian taste.

Food is tasty, but butter chicken had a sweet and sour taste did not like that. Thandoori chicken curry is also very delicious. Butter naan is super big, One is enough to fill your stomach. Authentic Indian taste.

With all the varied reviews for this place I was a bit hesitant.
But had been craving an Indian dish for some time.
Went for take-out. Decided to eat in.
Table for one. Please.
Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Had the Tikka Masada and garlic Naan. Asked for extra spicy.
Was perfect.
Naan was pillowy and pulled apart like a dream.
Was it that I had low expectations?
I don't think so.
Halifax doesn't have a mecca of great Indian food to choose from. But I will certainly be back!

Can’t believe this is Indian food. Only thing good was the chicken 65 for appetizer the food was horrible. The naan is not naan for real. The lamb vindaloo tastes like some lamb stew not curry. Not to mention how expensive it is.

Well you guys deserve a 0 rating. Food customer services of the lady with glasses good luck to this rest though?

Naan is fluffy and good but Curry is pathetic. Simply tossing few veggies in tomato sauce and adding salt and pepper doesn’t make it an Indian curry. Also extremely less quantity of curry served, hardly four spoons and not enough for sharing. Biriyani has no salt or spice, it’s simply tastes quick Pulav. There is lot of room for improvement considering the fact that places like Mirch Tandoor, Adda have improved greatly

Poor service and rude behaviour. We order our dinner from this place and was waiting for our food. Lady over there was soooooo rude and start showed us to stand near the board where it said door dash and uber. Stop judging people and not everyone come to pick orders for other people.
I will not recommend this place to anyone

Always have great food and service here. Love their butter chicken and the naan is a delight.

Best Indian food in Halifax. Love their butter chicken, vindaloo, saag paneer, naan bread, and condiments. We live on the peninsula but will drive to Bayers Lake for Darba or order through delivery services. We have tried other Indian restaurants such as Curry Village and Mirchi Tandoor but the flavours do not compare.

Best naan in HRM but messed up one order of rice that took forever to arrive and meant waiting with the meal on the table then starting without one person. They also appear to use minute rice which is tasteless and cheap. Probably will stick to Red Chillies where we have never been disappointed.

The prices are amazing.
You will most likely leave with a carry out carton, excellent portions.
Now is one my favorite places to eat A must try. Beautiful atmosphere aswell.

If I pay for food I expect that it’s not packaged or frozen food heated up and called “fresh”. The taste overall was good but I can guarantee 200% that the breads were packaged and heated up. The frozen kebab was heated up and served. It was tasty but guess what! They didn’t make it. I’m not coming back!
