Discovery Centre

Amazing time with day one of Build-A-Thon!
I hope more events like this are happeming, me and my son had a blast!

It was recommended by a colleague at work, for my children. I visited with them and it was a complete waste of my time. I didn't see anything to inspire them scientifically. There was nothing there to seriously challenge my kids, just basic things that people already know about or have encountered. I wished I spent the over $60 entrance fee for family of five, visiting Playdium.

It was fun for the kids. There are 4 floors. Level 0 there was a little area for the kids to do individual tasks like coding, playing with shapes to make a picture, circuits; there was a lot that didnt work such as 2/3 coding computers. There was also little direction on what the activities were.

There was a lot of "how to make the world better" and what your doing wrong such as the electronics, composting, what you add to landfills.

The last floor was for little children which is nice when the kids are little.

It's a small place. I wish it was bigger, open longer, and more science. Although we had fun.

Discovery center is a great place to take the kids for the day, and end up becoming a kid again yourself. Lots of hands on educational exhibits and experiments to teach "the Littles", and keep them engaged, and some of them are kinda fun even for us adults.

This place is terrible now, the old one was so much better.the new one is incredibly overpriced with barely anything in it. We paid $50 just to get in for 2 adults and a toddler, the only cool thing there (the dome) was NOT included and they wanted us to pay $15 more in order to go in it. This place is not what it used to be, what a massive rip off.

Great if you go with younger kids (under 10ish), and interesting, but a bit small and had several broken exhibits for the price of admission

We had a great experience, kids had a blast and so many cool things for us parents to see too!

Had a wonderful day with my grandchildren. They had all kinds of activities to do. They really seemed to enjoy themselves.

Im visiting from BC and today I took my grandchildren (8 &9yrs) to the Discovery Centre. We were disappointed first that the theatre was closed (on a busy Sunday) and second that the exhibits on the lower level were not working properly. The staff member there couldn’t even get them to work. So, basically we were only able to enjoy the 2nd & 3rd levels. I felt that the price was way too high to have these not open/working.

It was too crowded. Most of the exhibits were ones you had to read: with all the noise and chaos, it was hard to follow and understand what you were supposed to do. Thus equaling, my kids beingbbored.

Ah the Discovery Centre, Always loved going there when I came around here. There's always engaging exhibits, Still holds up to this day.

Fun attraction focused on kids. Best visited with young family, though adults can learn, too.

My family purchased an annual pass to the Discovery Center, and it has proven to be a fantastic choice for weekend outings. This place is a haven for children, offering a plethora of exciting exploration activities.

Only downside is they’re not open Monday Tuesday. My only 2 days off to take our child there. But it was a good experience when we managed to get there during the week

Went here for a field trip with the ib and it was pretty fun from someone who doesn’t usually like field trips.the guides our group had were extremely sweet

The exhibits are fun but it is not a sensory safe space alot of loud noise and it's very overwhelming there is no place to be away from the noise

A great place for kids to have fun in a science way. Lots of things to explore for kids and it's entertaining for adults as well. Dome theater is a total different experience to watch a short movie! Enjoyed my time there!

This is a awesome kid-friendly place! It has discovery camps that you can sign up for and learn more about the Discovery Centre!

My boys had a great time. Dinosaurs in Motion is a great exhibit and we had a lot of fun moving the dinosaurs around using the controls. Would totally recommend!
