Dockside Suites

We stayed at the hotel because we had a hockey tournament. The rooms were nice, the bathroom smelled a bit (as soon as we walked in the door we noticed) the kids had fun and enjoyed the hotel. UNTIL it was past midnight and the people to the joining room to ours tried to break in. It was not enjoyable there was no Staff there over night to call. We had to yell at the people ourselves through the door to try to make them stop with two children in our room who were too scared to go to sleep, and had to get up at 6am for a hockey game.

So I called the hotel the next day because we already left. (left our key in the room because no one comes to work until 7am)

They said those people are in a lot of trouble tried to break into our room and someone else's, smoked and partied trashed their room. Told me they couldn't get into our room unless i unlocked our side.but thats not the point. Didn't offer us any kind of money back or anything. I didn't even feel like they acknowledged how upsetting this was to two children.
Because of that I literally give it 1 star.

We didn't stay in any of the rooms here, but we had reservations for the Fundy restaurant, which is in the Dockside Suites.

The food was amazing and the cook was very accommodating with our food requests. My grandson has been raving about the clubhouse wrap he had, so much so that we are getting one to go for the wait at the airport to return to Ontario. My mom and I had beautifully grilled lobster tails.

Our waitress Yvette was so very wonderful. She was pleasant, funny, engaging, and very attentive to our table while she provided the same service to the tables around us.

The view is gorgeous while you enjoy your meal out on the patio deck.

The suite was clean and spacious. The patio would have been a nice addition, but it was dirty with trash littered next to it. It overlooked the wharf that was not impressive. It was was fishing town.nothing glamorous. The town was homely, nature here was not the prettiest.

Check in was a bit weird as we had to go the restaurant. The staff did their job, to give us the key. They did not have any knowledge about what to do in town. I think I was disappointed as I was here for vacation, but the vibe was more everyday business. This is not a place I would recommend for a family vacation.

Never stayed at the hotel. Just stopped by for lunch. I had 2 pc fish and chips. The first piece of fish was fantastic. The second piece I thought was kind of watery. Small order of fries and the drink was warm even though it had ice in it. Enjoyed the view while sitting on the balcony but found the chairs were very uncomfortable.

We stopped in for food and it was perfect. Service was great and we were seated right away. Beautiful view of the wharf and water.

The room was amazing with a beautiful view of the marina.
There was a small fridge, coffee maker and kitchenette sink/counter space.
The bathroom was very spacious with a glass walk in shower.
Close to the boardwalk and in the downtown area so lots to see and do within walking distance.
We traveled with our small dog and they were very accommodating.
Highly recommended!

We stopped in for lunch today and WOW! We highly recommend this gem of a restaurant in Digby! I don't usually leave reviews and I don't think I ever reviewed staff before but our Server today (Trinity) was amazing and I absolutely wanted to leave a review lol Hands down the best service I ever received, made me feel right at home even tho I am far from home lol. Oh and the food was absolutely amazing! Biggest and best tasting scallops I ever tasted (very filling) and the food presentation was fantastic! Lots of care in this cooking! I recommend this restaurant 100%. Also, fun fact for out of towners, Digby is the scallop capital of the world, so those scallops you will be eating are fresh off the boat:) Also, in August, the town of Digby have a Scallop Festival happening

First time here. It is remarkable. Right on digby Bay across from fishing boats. Nice size balcony with chairs, although they were a little low for "older people" our room had two comfortable queen size beds. A 60+ in TV screen with a gorgeous elec fireplace. As very clean. Staff very friendly. There was a girl who was exceptionally nice. I had a sore knee & she held the door open for me. I didnt catch her name but she was wearing a fuzzy sweater. Very grateful. Mike kipper

Okay place. Wifi was not working. I did attempt to have it resolved by the staff but they never tried nor came to assist after promising they would. Listing states wifi, and true enough it technically has wifi, but it doesn’t actually work beyond a ping every now and then. Also the suite is located directly over a busy restaurant and dance club, so you do hear music in the
suite from the bar etc. Clean well decorated room with a great view.

Gorgeous modern decor. Very clean and right on Main Street. Super location if you want to be able to walk to everything. Had difficulty locking the patio door and from door.

Serious Batman vibes here.one minute you're in a quaint seaside town, you pass through a couple of sets of unassuming doors and BAM — you suddenly find yourself in an ultra-modern secret lair.

While technically not a four-star hotel (the restaurant isn't on site but directly next door) it absolutely gets five stars from me!

The room was beautiful, and seemed newly renovated. There were lots of nice touches Including a very comfortable bed, fireplaces in the living room and bathroom, glasses and plates. The views of the harbour and the fishing boats were spectacular. For the price though, it lacked a couple things; 1. The patio door did not lock, 2. We had trouble also locking the front door, and 3. The remote control for the TV was quite wonky. All in all though a good experience.

My girlfriend and I stayed here before and really liked the room and the location. So when we decided to get married and have a staycation, the Dockside Suites was our first choice. In March we booked a room.it was 2 floors, we got a confirmation #, We where very excited. After our wedding we drove straight to Digby to start our honeymoon. When we arrived at the Dockside Suites, the lady’s looked confused when we went to check in. When we gave them out confirmation #. They told us they gave our room away. We asked them how this could happen and they said one computer wasn’t communicating to the other.
We weren’t happy with this and asked for a better explanation. The next day they said they gave the room to some nurses that need the room for a few months. We were happy with this answer but then wanted to know way we didn’t receive an email or a call saying they gave our room away. We could have then decided to stay here or maybe find a different location but They couldn’t answer this. ANYWAYS EVEN THOUGH WE LIKE THIS SPOT WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. This ruined a part of our honeymoon we felt let down.

An absolutely awesome place to stay. Great rooms, great view, great food and great staff that made our stay excellent. We spent 3 nights taking two suites and brought our pets too. We'll be back. Thanks

This was by far the one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in. Awesome modern large suite, comfortable bed, clean and a magnificent view with a balcony. The staff were friendly and accommodating to my needs. Food in the restaurant was fantastic and reasonably priced. I highly recommend the suishi and fish and scallop dish. If you are looking for a place to stay in Digby, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful rooms, comfy beds, and great takeout from The Fundy Restaurant! Rooms are nicely updated with modern finishes, and they allow pets so we were able to stay with our cat Monty, who traveled with us from Ontario for our move here to NS. Highly recommended. ️

What a wonderful surprise. The suite must have been recently remodeled; very modern furnishings, tile floors, beautiful bathroom, comfy king size bed, cathedral ceilings, balcony, etc. Would definitely recommend.

I reviewed it as good until i saw they charged me $143 additionally for pet clean up on my visa. We had our own covers for the chairs. He had his bed and did not damage or mess the room in anyway. Doesnt shed because he is a small poodle. But when you give your credit card info you leave yourself open. Disappointed.

Balcony was amazing!

Pleasantly surprised, we stayed in the new building on the boardwalk room 4H, wonderfully new, very clean and modern room, fireplace in the bedroom and the bathroom, private deck overlooking the bay. Great staff! Highly recommend staying here! Only negative is that there is no elevator. Parking lot across the street from the hotel. We were there to take the ferry from NS to NB - will definitely stay here again!

Nice rm. No need for fancy stuff preferr microwave oven rather than a fireplace granite rock or facet that changes colours when turned on! $!

Stayed in Suite L. Ultra modern, beautiful view, private deck, one of the best suites we have stayed in! Staff was great! Don't be fooled by the street view it was fantastic!
