Doktor Luke's - a respectable coffee house

Absolutely my favourite place for caffeinated and decaf beverages with oat milk (they have other alternatives to dairy too). The snacks are always delicious and I was looking forward to another baseball sized holiday rice crispy square and DL did not disappoint! Also, big shout out to Doktor Luke's for always creating a 2SLGBT+ safer space with their trans flag and inviting baristas.

I stopped going to the office to work. I just come to Doktor Lukes and fuel my projects with natures Vyvanse! Doktor Lukes is my home away from work and the most productive environment for my undiagnosed neurodivergence.

The treats are good, the coffee is great, and James and the staff are fantastic! 5 stars! I would give 6 but I need one for a tip!

Upon entering I was met by the most unpleasant looking group of employees - they offered no greeting, instead gawking at me as if I had multiple heads. They also served me one of the worst mochas I’ve ever had. The only reason I’d return is to walk through to the bakery.

Best latte! The flavor gets better at it goes down work a 10.0 landing. The croissants are of the true recipe, texture and flavor; better than the one we had in Quebec.

Really delicious barista coffee and the cheese scone was buttery crunchy perfection. Great thoughtful service!

This is a great little indie coffee shop in downtown Sydney, NS. I came here looking for good coffee and this place did not disappoint! I had a cafe latte and a cheese and onion scone. Both were delicious.

This place has a cool vibe, with wooden tables and chairs, retro knick knacks and games. They even have "Sydneyopoly", a local version of Monopoly.

The premises were clean and inviting.

The staff were pleasant and service was quick.

This place seemed to attract regulars, locals meeting for a coffee, and tourists. Really, if you like great coffee, this is a great place. I look forward to coming back again soon.

They've got a vast choice of drinks to choose from and best of all, they have more than just cow's milk. There are many types of dairy substitutes. It's really a happening spot

We are coffee drinkers, black robust caffeinated coffee. While visiting in Sydney we asked for the local independent coffee shop in town and found yours. What a great find. Terrific coffee, good service, and varied crowd all resulting in a nice comfy feeling. Thank you for such a great experience.

Cozy and family friendly. Boardgames are a thoughtful touch. Iced drinks are delicious and reasonably priced.

What a surprising find! A wonderfully charming coffee house, with an equally unique name! It was just the wake-me- up I needed while in town for a few days. The staff were super helpful and pleasant! I came back every morning I could. So happy I found a place like this to enjoy whenever I'm in Sydney.
