If I could give less than this I would.
Head office won't hold store accountable when negligent. They will offer you a 25 dollar gift so their store can make more money.
A ladder falls on my leg, because it's not secured where it's supposed to be and because I couldn't get to a doctor and didn't need emergency medical services there's no fault. Although the ladder should have been secured at the end of a aisle it was laid leaning on a shelf.
DON'T SHOP HERE!
Lack of sensitivity from the staff also!
No questions about needing help, if a person is ok!

Service is good but will never understand them not having a cashier on a register. Still the same only put a person on the register once in a blue moon. Will always be the same with a cashier once in awhile.

Decent size store and nice staff. But at times not enough people working which causes large line ups at the cash

My daughter just Love it Dollarama, it is affordable. She just Love it shopping Dollarama.
And the staffs also very friendly behaviour.
I have to share one incident about the staffs of dollarama
The week I first arrived in Canada, I went to Dollarama without even knowing what is this dollarama, Cz I’m seeing this first time, After completing the purchase, me and wife reached the billing counter, then my wife saw that the credit card was missing. Looked at everything there for a while but unfortunately we didn’t find, so we were about leave from ther
Then a staff ran to us and asked they got a card, can you Pls check it whether the card is ours, we checked that was our credit card, we were so happy Cz as a newcomer with out Cc it is very difficult. Any way Thanks to south centre 16th dentith Rs dollarama staffs

I won't be bothering with this location in the future when I have many other options available. Two days in a row, everyone in line has been told their only option for checking out are the self-serve kiosks. Imagine being in line behind people who normally don't use them and have 20-30+ items each. The kiosks cannot scan at the speed that the full serve cashier scanners can. I typically like using the kiosks when it's an option for me but it's an OPTION and people aren't told they have no other choices but to use them or shop elsewhere. Dollarama, stop being so lazy!

Staff always seems to know if something is in stock or not and if your looking for something they always seems to know where it is.
They are open seven days a week. Parking is no problem, and you can more or less park close to the front of the store.
I usually get batteries there and packaged gravy. Good variety of greeting cards too.

They have done away with having cashiers and you have to use self automated checkouts. Because of this I changed my rating from five stars to one and will never go to the store again.

Prices have really increased. Most things are now four dollars and some are now five dollars. Wow!

Make you forcefully do self checkout! Self checkout should be an option not your only option!

They push the self-check too much! I find alot of people.especially seniors, would rather a cashier.like today.there were seniors in the lineup asking for a cashier.they were told there was no cashier, basically forcing the self-checks. The only checker up front was busy helping other people with their self-check purchases.

Still cheaper prices for the same items you get from the other grocery store, affordable for families

Like everywhere today, prices not as cheap as they used to be. Should they change the name to FiveDollarama?

Great I went to stationery asle pick up a notebook for my Wife and I was looking at the shelfs on my way to cashier how they were full, so long line of course to cashier. The line was quick to dissipate no cashiers it was 3 machines customers were using. Well I was in a pickle. So i ask a machine Specialist/Employee how to work it she came right over she was very nice and very knowledgeable and explained step by step how ring in my notebook, how to pay for it and not to forget my receipt. Now I am a Machine Specialist.

I hate that they only have self check out. I don't work there and I shouldn't have to scan my own stuff.

Good place to find something real close to exactly what you're looking for. Now if only they could keep USB A to C cables.

The staff there are a bunch of gems but since they started the self checkout its been taking longer
