Don was really available. We recommanded him for all even more for military posting. He helped us to find a house in 1 week in this crazy market! His assistant Cheyenne was so quick in answering and kept tight control of the purchase process. Also, Don was 1 week in vacation during the process but he refer us a great realtor and stay present to help us.

We can't go see the house before the purchase. So, Don take the time to make videos and a walk through before the final signature. He was really helpfull, gave us good advices and help us to get the house with negociations.

Don McCooeye is an awesome real estate agent! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a house in Nova Scotia! We started our search with Don soon after he had his second child. Even with a new baby and the pandemic Don went over and above to help us find our dream home. We didn’t have to high of a budget because Covid hit us so we had to work hard to find houses that fit what we wanted. We lost a few houses in the process we really liked, but Don’s words of encouragement helped us continue on. I worked with Don on a recent purchase for a home where I was relocating from Ontario. From the minute I sent my first email to him he was incredibly responsive. This started out as a stressful process with tight timelines and Don supported and coached me through the whole process and made if far less stressful and actually very enjoyable.

As first time home buyers AND moving to Nova Scotia from Ontario, there’s no question that this process seemed incredibly overwhelming at the outset. That was until we found Don McCooeye. Not only were we up against the struggles of finding our dream home in the east coast from halfway across the country, we also had to contend with the diversity in real estate regulations and overall culture. Don made understanding these so simple with his in depth knowledge of the economic factors that contribute to the real estate market, as well as his “second to none” work ethic that elicited true comfort and trust that he always had our best interest in mind.
