I called in to get a wheel alignment/balance and the person on the phone said "you can bring it in wed or thurs" which was just TWO days after I called. I said "what time is best? " He said "any time in the morning on either day you choose" I asked how long it would take to do the work and he said about 1.5 hours. I brought it there shortly after they opened on the Wed and I told him that I will be waiting around in town while it gets fixed. From the way he spoke on the phone saying I can bring it in basically any time within just a couple of days and how quickly they were able to get me in, it didn't seem like they had tons of work lined up and they would be able to get to my car pretty quick. I waited in town for 4 hours after I dropped off the car and decided to call to check the status they said they haven't got to my car yet and it would be another 1 hour before they bring my car in and then 1.5 hours to do the work. I decided to go back to the shop and get my car without the repair as hanging out in town for 6.5 hours (I dont live in Amherst) is unacceptable. They set no expectations with me that I wouldn't get my car back for 6.5+ HOURS after I brought it in which is almost a full working day. When talking on the phone to the guy and even in person it seemed like they didn't care and put zero effort to schedule anything properly and they never suggested or told me it would take almost a full business day to do a repair. Just horrible communication and customer service.

Didn't slide boot, which was causing cramping when steering and would have caused the boot to break and cause mud and crud to get in
