Last week I was walking by the stores on the top level at the mall (Halifax Shopping Centre), the stores were closed, but I glanced downstairs and saw this glittery dress through the window and thought "Wow, if I had the body"
So for the past 2 years during covid, I've gained weight like many others and lost a lot of confidence in my physical appearance. I even went on a trip to USA and had 0 luck. After I finished work yesterday, I decided "Today was rough.and I deserve a little retail therapy too! " Well I hit up BBW naturally lol, but then, I had to see this glittery dress for myself.
As I walked in the staff were all very inviting and I didn't get very far before multiple people offered me help, or to check for sizing as XL is a rare one. I heard the staff explain how to spell my name for the fitting room as she took my pile of dresses. (I have struggled with the motivation to spend money on myself and just felt unpretty, but to my surprise all 3 dresses I tried were amazing!)
I didn't shy away from the email sign up and got the opportunity to save on the spot. I heard the staff joking with customers and doing an online order and everything was just seamless.
With that being said I wasn't to personally thank the team at the store for making me valued, we all need a little recognition today! I'll be back for my birthday dress very soon!:)
