Victor and Tetiana are very welcoming, they roast coffee beans here (you can see the machine right behind the glass) and make delicious fresh coffee. Loved the service and atmosphere, would recommend!

Ambiance is wonderful as I love the interior. Beverages are fresh and taste too good. Customer service is also on the top. Best place to have a small meeting in a welcoming environment.

Lovely space, good classic cold brew. I got the pesto focaccia which was warmed up, as I ate it on my walk home only the outside crust was warm the pre-melted cheese was cold and the tomatoes were ice cold. It wasn’t very appetizing. I went at 11: 30 and only 1 sandwich was available. I’d go back for coffee but not food unfortunately.

This place is my new favorite in Halifax! The location is perfect, the atmosphere inside is stunning, and the staff is so incredibly friendly. The owners are attentive and kind and I could not recommend this place enough! Great coffee, and fantastic food with a great selection

It was a great experience! Coffee, nuts, chocolate, desserts, all way amazing! The music and the service were so lovely, as well as a lovely present atmosphere! This place is the perfect place to study and focus in. Great cafe!

Delightful new coffee cafe. Great location, lovely ambience, friendly service.
My son ordered a butter croissant and the man (presumably the owner) behind the counter said if you can wait three minutes there would be fresh ones just coming out of the oven. Delicious. When he overheard that it was my son's birthday, presented my son with sweet cannoli!

10/10 cafe, iced mint mocha iced coffee was amazing. Very friendly staff, spacious & great atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back:)

East Cup Cafe is exactly what Halifax was missing and I’m happy it’s built itself as a staple in town! Everything is incredible from the pastries to the hot beverages to the incredible interior/decor. I was served by Saylor who was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient! I ordered the almond and raspberry croissants and told her to surprise me with the rest; She gave great recommendations and I’m already planning my next visit for more! Keep up the great service and expect me as a regular! PS photos attached and try not to drool on the screen

Place was beautiful and ambiance was nice. I got good service and the cashier told me about different types of lattes. I tried the iced chai which was good, the almond croissant was okay and dulce de leche latte was not that good. Maybe I’ll try the lotus latte next time.

Really cozy spot. The interior is very cute and the seats are comfortable and well spaced. The drinks are good and the cream puff I had was delicious. Their other food looks nice as well. I love the people working here though, they are all so sweet. Lovely addition to the neighbourhood.

Great spot with a lot of options on coffee and tea. Spanish coffee is sooo good and deserts just have to be had as well - the marscapone white chocolate cake thing is just superb

The location is excellent, and parking is challenging.
The layout and decorations are excellent, and the space is spacious and can fit large groups.
The location is energetic, I like to go early in the morning as the large windows give me a lot of energy.
The concept of fresh coffee ️ beans.is excellent I like it.
I like the nuts and I like the fresh breakfast.
The Cleanliness is within expectations.
Food is delicious
Prices are reasonable and affordable.
I tried the sandwiches, the coffee, the nuts, and the tea. I loved ️ ️ it all.
Conclusions, this is my second time to this location, and I will visit them again.

I have finally found my new favorite coffee place after spending 6 years in Halifax having mediocre coffee.
My husband called me this morning after I finished my workout and said he wants to take me to a surprise place- and surprised I was (in a positive way of course).

The cafe is stunning, the little things matter and the owner (Hamza- please forgive me if I got your name wrong) curated every aspect of the cafe through his visionary architectural lens. I love spaces that have unique architecture and I instantly fell in love with this cafe.

Now I’ve been an avid coffee drinker, I’ve tried coffee in so many different cities so it takes a lot to impress me- the coffee needs to be impeccable and it sure was. Their cappuccino was perhaps one of the best I’ve had outside of Europe. I ordered a chocolate hazelnut mousse cake on the side and it was perfect- not too sweet but just enough to compliment the unsweetened cappuccino. You’ve made a regular out of me and I look forward to doing my regular walk up to your cafe for a delicious cup of cappuccino.:)

I've lived in Halifax for several years and have tried almost every coffee shop in the city. East Cup Cafe has tremendously good coffee, one of the better coffees I've tasted in Halifax. Americano was brewed strong and fresh with crema on top. The sandwiches were good (about $8-10) and put in a press so they come out crispy.

The chairs are more comfortable than your average coffee shop and it's conveniently across from Atlantica Hotel. I was happy to find that the coffee shop is also packed and popular, which adds to the ambiance.

There was a news story that falsely reported this place serves Turkish Coffee. That unfortunately is not the case, but still great coffee.

If you are looking for a special calm neat place to have a chat with a friend or study, this is a place to be.
