Nice little hike but have good footware. Trail an up and back no longer a loop. Fairly steep in spots. Would not be great after a rain. But on this day it was fantastic but a little too busy for our liking. Beautiful falls for sure

maps led me to the wrong location 45 minutes from the actual falls. Once I overcame my frustration and made my way to the real location, I was blown away. Beautiful.

The conditions of the trail after all the rain in Cape Breton were somewhat dangerous with all the mud and wet slippery leaves.

When you start the trail after going approximately 15 minutes in there will be a fork in the trail. Do yourself a favour and don't go left…. Like we did! Go right and you will see a Canadian Flag a sign and a platform. Take the stairs and follow the rope for a bit. Continue until you see the falls. Be sure to take the same way back up the bank. Enjoy! Happy Halloween everyone!

In my opinion…this trail was difficult and a bit dangerous, but it was worth it when you saw the falls.

Such a beautiful place …but car won’t go up to waterfalls…you need to walk about 3 kms all the way down from your parking place

A short but slightly challenging hike to a very beautiful set of falls. Well worth the effort. A naturally steep descent down
a well worn path, with some rope near the end for a little support.

It looks just like the pictures. Really beautiful. The hike to the falls is downhill and confusing.we ended up hiking to the top of the falls and had to hike back. This is a moderate hike. And if like me you haven't ever been hiking then it is a difficult one. But totally worth the effort.

Amazing once you to get to the bottom of the hill. It’s very refreshing water. You will need to have a good pair of sneakers as the trail to and from the falls is very steep. Take your time.

A short but steep and rocky hike to the falls. Make sure to take the right path at the first fork as it leads to an easier path down to the falls that has stairs and rope.

Roughly. 7 km (1/2 mile) in on muddy, steep, trail. If you're prepared for a hike on slippery surface, this is the place. It's steep enough that they've added ropes to help pull you up and lower you down. No tickets needed. Free nature hike. Oh, and the dirt road into the trail head, is aweful.

We as friends with one toddler and baby without having full knowledge about the falls hike will be bit tough to walk through down… need to be in a perfect hiking shoe, kids need to be carried mostly, very slippery during rainy days or days before rains, dont go in a white dress (chance of falling down) we just lost our way to the straight road from the parking, but the falls were exactly right down from the parking area, but its really worth it to do the risk in those slippery path all way to the down. There was an another way down from the parking area in the right side of the road, it was bit easy than the main way! Its reallly worth to see the egypt falls and the view was amazing!

From the parking lot the trail is marked the whole way! The down hill path is all down hill, slippery and middy! The water fall is beautiful but the way back up is definitely a work out! 0% cell service the hole way! I myself am a firefighter and would hate to see anyone with bad health, get stuck here!

What a beauty spot it's a bit steep but not too bad also would recommend good footwear especially if it had rained.

What a place to visit! Getting to the trail for the falls is a drive up into the mountain. There is space for parking. The hike trail is very steep. The day I visited the trail was muddy so make sure you wear good hiking shoes. The falls themselves were gorgeous and worth the hike. The hike back up the hill is very strenuous so be prepared to get a serious cardio workout. The hike down took me 20-25 minutes and about 30-40 minutes hiking back up.

It is a short but steep hike from the parking. Be respectful of the place, since this is a private property. Let’s be thankful that the owners gave us the opportunity to see this amazing place. Pack in, pack out. But mostly, enjoy the view. It is definitely worth the hike.

They are currently working on the road when you drive here be careful. There aren't any proper trails to get to the falls, would have good to know this before hand! I think it might have just been the time we went, but take care when heading to the falls.

The falls are beautiful, but whatever group of people are working on the trail have completely ruined it. It used to be a beautiful, untouched trail with huge trees and now a bunch of it has been bulldozed to make a parking lot, there are wooden stairs in it, tons of mud everywhere from machinery and ugly spray painted signs everywhere. They've completely destroyed the trail.
